I was using a ati Readon x1300pro 256mb card before, and now i am using this 9500 gt 1 gig, and wut a difference. i do alot of gaming that require the highend gfx. i had to run all on low detial with my old card now i can run all on high detail. i am very impressed with this card.

This card is so amazing. Just install the card in PC no installation required. Windows update gave me the latest driver. Performance is fantastic mind you Im not a gamer but for evething else its great. Not to mention the low cost.

Super card for the money. Plus I used a discount from the Entertainment book to save even more. Only problem was the install CD arrived broken and unusable. I was able to download and install the right driver from the EVGA website.

Wow lots of power. The card maxed out my windows performance rating (Windows rating). One gig on board to boot! I have another like this with only half that on board. Trust me... if this card is compatable with your mobo... buy it.

Man a lot of ppl dog on these cards and 90% of the time your MB's or other hardware in your rig is restricting or conflicting with the card.. I have this card in a brand new rig running a quad core CPU Phenom and 4 gigs of ram and the sucker plays all my games perfectly fine including all 3D simulators I use for my job and does not have a single glitch or conflict...

Description of card says it can play today's graphic intense games. No way. I tried to play Neverwinter nights 2 (a 3 year old game)on low res and lowest graphics settings and all it does is artifact like crazy. Now I have learned that this is pretty much bottom of the barrel for the 9000 series. Oh well, live and learn.

but vista couldn't find the drivers. It defaulted to standard VGA. My DVD is down at the moment, but nvidia's website was easy to browse through and get what I needed. Thanks NVIDIA, for knowing your customers

Really works well. I have selectable XP and Vista on my computer and installation was a breeze. Not problems with either operating system if you follow the directions.

My PC came with a built in video which ran flawlessly for 4 yrs. I run 2 D and 3 D drafting software, photo video editting software watch movies online and play games on my pc. When I started having problems screen blinked and wouldn't display RED colors I upgraded to this 9500 G T video card. Works great! Simply plug n play! Easy to install. I simply shut down and unplugged tower removed case cover slid vid card in slot turned on tower Disabled the onboard video booted up windows configured my display settings and I was off and running. A computer tech informed me I didn't have to bother disabling my onboard video but I did any way and it runs fine. I found TG price is almost half cost of computer retail stores for same merchandise!

I got one two of these for my less capable desktops. Just plug and play. Vista 32 bit saw the new card and loaded the drivers automatically. I just bought my third card for my HP Phenom quad core computer that has a Nvidia 9200GS, overall Vista rating of only 4. This new card should bring it up to a solid 5 and let me do my flight simulator programs in style. The fan is totally quiet by the way and it runs on less power than advertised (350 watt power supply with an 18 amp 12v bus). The card runs on my 250 watt supply with 14 amp bus. The other one is running on a 350 watt supply with a 17 amp bus. I would not recommend this, but as long as I don't overclock the card and smoke doesn't come out the back of the computer, what the heck. Also needs no additional power hookups like some more high power cards.

i just add this card to my quad core q9300 system with 4 gb of ram, and it does everthing i needed it to, but i am not a hardcore gamer! i just needed something to run doom3 and red faction 2 with zero lag, and this card delivers. so i am happy with it. it even comes with a nice overclocking utility on the driver disc which i don't need to use with any of my current games, but is nice to have for future games i buy. the only con is the card is very large, so if you have a mini tower you might need to do some research cuz i really doubt if would fit and my asus p5kpl-cm board only has two pci slots and i've lost one of those because the video card is in the way, so i'll be using onboard audio for a while until i can afford a new motherboard lol anyway it's a good card and well worth the money! i can't believe i paid almost 3x this much fro my radeon 9600 pro about 6 years ago and it never performed anything like this, of coure some credit has to go the intel quad core processor.
