meh I got this card and I'm fairly certain the new mobo I got (mistake btw) shorted it out. But it seemed fine with my old mobo. But it was passed the 30 days so I RMA'ed it with evga, they had been excellent about it. But I lastly got my new 1 back and it doesn't appear to perform either. I even purchased a various mobo that is stable and is excellent. But this card doesn't appear to want to work appropriate either. I'm very disappointed in this card. I have an old 8800GTS, which is not a super good card, but it works perfectly fine with my newest motherboard. This is lame.

replacing geforce 8800 gt on two.5 year old computer system.play WoW at 1280x768 resolution and submaximal video settings (dont need bells and whistles to enjoy).installed easily, functions like a charm, improved graphics function. newegg rapid processing and delivery.do not require high end gaming card, and this provided great cost for performance desired. best deal obtainable at time purchase. none atm. pentium E8400 three. Ghz, vista 32 bit, 4 gb ram.superior me devote $ on win7 64 bit + far more ram than greater cost graphics card (if u cant have every thing).

Good Video Card for the Value. Easy to Install. Plays most new games ( Call of Duty Black ops, Fear, Grid, NFS Shift) fantastic for video editing. SLI-ing two of these is even sweeter graphical performance. Only 192 Processor Cores. This is the 2nd video card i order and i am quite content with it this one particular is replacement for ATI Radeon 4850 HD. which failed two days following the warranty expired.

Good performance...when it worked! Card started artifacting within a week of installation. EVGA tech support involved email tag more than two days. EVGA RMA method is really cumbersome. Finally got RMA number and sent via UPS. For some cause, took UPS more than twice as lengthy to get it across country as a package sent to Canada, not EVGA's fault. However, UPS tracking showed it arrived on the projected delivery date, but delivery was requested held by EVGA's RMA facility. Appears they are closed till Jan. 3rd. Be conscious that whilst rebates are a wonderful enticement, there is a caveat. You have to take away/mail the UPC from the package. When you do, Newegg is no longer able to do a speedy RMA for your defective item. In this case, the card performed well for about a week, but the deadline for filing for the ฽ rebate was approaching so the option was to fore-go the rebate or deal with EVGA's RMA process. IF the replacement card performs effectively, it will all be a brief term unpleasant experience. If there are any additional issues, it will impact future acquire decisions and recommendations.

Dual DVI. Plays effectively with Dual card setup. I have identical cards in my AMD Phenom unit and haven't set up the bridge however. Great for Mulitple monitor arrays. Energy 23" Samsung DTV / Monitors. Additional compact than prior card yet with more power, speed and memory. What's not to like about these units. Have None Do your homework with this video card. It is not designed for projectors and massive panel displays on an individual unit. Do not try to run a single video card for that purpose. Also, if you do run a significant display make confident that you readjust the fan speed on the card to max. You can't have rather and performance out of the identical device. Specifically if you are going to overdrive it. Card will overheat and fail.

Was a lot smaller and utilized little power which i truly liked from it.. I upgraded from a 9500 GT and played games such as battlefield bad corporation 2, and Rift on high settings flawlessly. Was incredibly straightforward to install. All and all was a enormous upgrade from what i had just before. Immediately after about 4 days of use I generally monitored the temps just to make confident it wasnt operating hot which to my surprise ran extremely cool on full load..issue was right after the 4 days the screen would go black and tell me my driver stopped responding but had recovered. I attempted every little thing from clean installs of new drivers in secure mode and other quarky tips i had identified on the internet. Absolutely nothing seemed to work at all, following a few hours of trouble shooting the screen would commence to go black even outside of games though at idle. I was never able to resolve the issue, but found out it seems to be rather typical with this kind of card. I guess i was just unlucky.I had to RMA back for a replacement. I will write one more assessment based on how the new 1 goes

Received RMA card, and it is failing once more... I RMA"ed this card once already, having waited 2 weeks for this to go back to EVGA and then return. This second card crashes randomly, artifacts like crazy and I am regretting ever trying out EVGA goods. I spent sufficient funds shipping this factor to make this card NOT worth it. If you feel like obtaining a bad video card, feel no cost to get this one. The card is overclocked from the factory with an extra ჳ which was nice. The card is not as lengthy as the GTS 250 that was I operating so I had far more space in my case. For someone like me that has a Core2Duo nonetheless this is a great card that can still perform at peak. Plus it is only 1 6-pin connector which means there is no need for a massive PSU to run it. None! Armed with EVGA Precision and EVGA OC Scanner this is a great card for cost/performance. Scores great on Heaven Benchmark two. and runs smooth in anything I have thrown at it. EVGA Precision two. has a fan controller built in, but my card never ever reached over 60 degrees so the fan was in no way higher then 50%. Excellent Card for a person looking for efficiency, but doesn't have 300 or 400 to spend on the best end cards.

already have one, ordered a second for SLI, one alone plays just about every game out there at 1920x1080 maxed out ( no AA because at 1080 jagged edges dont exist) but adding a second will ad even far more FPS deffinitly worth the 财 cooling desing has it blow the hot air into the case, not a huge fan of thatevga precision only lets you put the fan at 70% ( even then its really although) wish i had the income to buy the second when i baught the very firstphenom II 940 X4 ( three.2 oc'ed)asus M4N72-E mobo8 gigs of ddr2 gskill 800mhz gaming ram1 EVGA gts 450 1gb ( 2nd on the way)enermax 850W PSU

Was straightforward to installWorks Excellent Absolutely nothing i can think of I put this card into an Dell XPS 410. The card itself is a little big, but it fits fine into this case, and works with the stock power supply. The only thing i would as is to make sure it will ft in your case, as it is large.

This card has been fantastic so far. I returned a prior GTS 450 from a unique brand simply because the noise was overwhelming. This card is almost silent. A lot of power, enough that you are going to have a hard time locating a game that it doesn't have enough power to run at high frame rates. My system didn't have a quad core super processor, so this was plenty potent for what I'd be able to use. This card is a good mid to high range graphics card from a firm that I've had absolutely nothing but pleasant experiences with. Certainly recommend to everyone looking at boosting their efficiency without spending a lot. It's so low cost I want to purchase far more of them.

Simple Install, Runs Cool, Can not run in 3 way SLI. Runs Crysis two at max settings in SLI. No problems on my Q6700-Evga 790 Ultra SlI with 8 gigs DDR3.

Installed in two computers for Christmas. Was a piece of cake for each. CD had beta drivers but linked to EVGA internet site to download most current. Works beautifully for Globe of Warcraft Cataclysm with all settings turned to ultra - no lag at all. Can't believe of any. Comes with a DVI to VGA adapter and a power connector for energy supplies that do not have a PCI Express two. plug.

Puts a nice image on my HTS. Quiet fan. The rebate approach, you have to go on-line to fill out forms and still send in by snail mail.No Mini HDMI cable in the box. Replaced an older NVIDIA chip card whith a fan that was beginning to get loud. This 1 is nearly inaudable. Downloaded the latest driver package from the NVIDIA web site.. The CD in the box was at least two generations old. Usually download, by no means install out ofthe box unlrss it's to get you to a state so that you can download.

Its a definite upgrade to my original 8800GTS that had regrettably blew out on me immediately after a solid four and a half years of use. She performs marginally superior than the old 8800, that's for positive, but now I understand that its bottlenecking performance on my RAM and CPU, so, I feel its about time I upgraded those, as properly. The software that comes with this factor is a small wonky to use. It can trigger severe artifacting if you set the settings too high (or too low) and different other problems. Not to mention if you so appear at the shader or core clock sliders wrong you'll have to restart your pc immediately after clicking "apply." Really nice new card, but I'd really like to have not needed installing the computer software in order to just basically see my power consumption and temps. Overall, four out of 5.

this card looks extremely specialist. It has SLI so it get a great future. It runs smooth with my AMD method and just requires at least 400W PSU (mine is OCZ stealthstream 400w) so far so great this card is major so you'd far better get the ATX case (as big as feasible) in order to run SLI later on

I don't play lots of games so it's okay for regular video usage. 1 g of GDDR5. Running at around 40-45c idle while the cores are at 25c & possibly the most noisy fan of all my other fans. May be it's too crowded at the cards' location and the air does not circulate properly sufficient or the fan is almost certainly affordable too. Increase the fan trigger this card is running hot compared to other people.

Very the improvement over my 9800 gt, runs about 40 to 45 Celsius under a full load max settings Bad Organization two.Quite very quiet and only uses 1 6 pin energy supply. not 256 bit..no biggy but the cost for the 256 card was out of the spending budget . How times have changed I began with 7900 gt sli went to my 9800 gt and now the 450 Fermi. Hopefully this 1 will final a long time like my other EVGA Cards. follow the rebate instruction exactly to get the rebate Visa card.

Plug and play, literally, windows did all the driver updates itself and no errors. Precision is fantastic. Fan Control. Fits my mid tower. couldn't hurdle 1Ghz :lpurchased for 130 ࿺ MIR), it's now 115 ࿵ MIR) Idle at 28C and gets up to mid 50's totally loaded in SCII (Ultra Settings) and Source (maxed) and never ever crashed. Windows 7 WEI gave me 7.1 in both Graphics and Gaming Graphics. Topped out at 998 CC, 1996 SC and 1996 MC with fan 70% in most tests. Had it in my hands in 3days, Newegg Shipping impossible to beat.

Great...if you don't use a projector as a monitor. Use a flat panel and you are ok I lastly identified information on the Nvidia forum, of upset projector owners and guess what? Driver 260.99, the newest driver, DOES NOT SUPPORT PROJECTORS!!!!! Way to go Nvidia. Release a new card & ignore a significant segment of your customer base. Anger & frustrate them and then push them over to ATI. Intelligent way to do company. A Tech told me 12ቴ that the 450 does not officially support projectors. I was stunned. I bet that most of the poor critiques are from people today who have projectors. It doesn't matter which projector you have....(I have an Optoma HD 20. A pretty well-liked entry level HD projector)...it is hit or miss with projector owners. More most likely miss than hit. This has been a challenge considering that driver 260.99. released in Oct. A Nvidia moderator says that a fix is in the works, to be released 1st week of Jan 2011...if you can believe that. I RMA'd this but whats the use?? No matter what new Nvidia based card I acquire, I will have this difficulty. I don't want an ATI card so I now have this hooked up to my LG 42" LCD, upstairs & I will wait for the new update. I think about my self "lucky". I bought this the 1st week of Dec. I "only" racked my brain for a week. I really feel sorry for the poor saps that have this concern & purchased it months earlier...that's torture.....ball's in your court Nvidia....HURRY UP WITH THE FIX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got this to replace one 7600GT. My old system had two 7600GT's in SLI, I had one of them in my new system until I got this card. Of course it smoked a single 7600, but it also smokes my old system(that's a given) with two 7600's.Overclocks very nicely, currently at 925 core/1850 shaders/1950(3900) memory. With a well ventilated case I idle at 26C and max out at 50C, ambient temp of 24C.Provided you don't expect too much from this card, it does the job very well. It's not "top of the line", so don't expect to get high res with the eye-candy cranked up, and good frame rates.All in all, very good bang for the buck.
