This is a stick to-up to my "Be Warned: Only 30 days to register!" posting on twoቶ.I have been in make contact with with Jacob at EVGA, discussed the scenario, and he has resolved my warranty issue. Kudos to EVGA for listening and performing the ideal factor (IMHO). Based on this expertise I would not hesitate to get another EVGA item.I've upgraded my rating to 5 eggs for the EVGA GTX 570 itself and their client service. Hmmm...It's not a GTX 590 ?

Very good Price tag, Runs Cool even under load with a fan app like Afterburner, All current Direct X 11 games run smooth at max settings, totally free mafia II and Just Trigger two coupon below existing promo, IMO getting the non overclocked variant is a pro for longevity of the card, Cost is best for SLI setups Only con for me is I already owned just bring about 2 and mafia II just before buying this card! :) I upgraded to this card from a slowly failing BFG GTX 280 OC... in every way this card is a step up from the old one particular. Overall speed feels only like a slight improvement but capability of this card is way additional modern and the price of this card vs my last this one particular is way less costly (spent just about 600 on last a single). I bought the non overclocked variant of this card just due to the fact I been building Pc's for a extended time and I know from encounter now that getting the overclock variant of video cards shortens its lifespan significantly even when its factory overclocked.I extremely advise this card to just about every existing gamer hunting for an cost-effective SLI capable DX11 card.

Decent overall performance for the value - It's not that quiet. No much better or worse noise wise than your typical 跌-500 video card, give or take a few decibels. It's at least three-4X instances louder than the Dell OEM GTX 260 that I replaced in this particular box. Frustrating because I purchased it believing the 'quiet' hype. I personally can't stand high pitch fans blasting out of my laptop or computer whilst I'm attempting to immerse myself in a game. I can take some, but this one is a bit too loud.- Card began showing artifacts on screen after ㅖ days of ownership. Shows it instantly in any game so not a function of heat buildup, much more like a damaged connection, resistor, capacitor, whatever. GTX 260 is sadly back in the case. Due to a number of let downs, I would not get once more at this point, despite the somewhat very good reputation EVGA has.

Effective card Transparent lines on every game i play, ive tried quite a few games and i have no idea what it is. Ive performed a clean install of the drivers, clean install of windows vista and 7 and nevertheless the transparent lines on the screen. They dont bother considerably but if you look closely you can see them. In some games if i turn Vertical sync on they go away. But most games even if i turn Vsync on they nonetheless show up. Whats up with that? ive tried countless forums ppl having related probs with the video card. Funny issue is i purchased a 460 gtx ahead of this one and the transparent lines had been worse. So i bought this a single thinking it would fix it but still....very same transparent lines. I have a ATI 5670 and i installed that just to check and no lines. Its not my RAM or my CPU or my power supply. Can i get a new or one thing im very disappointed.SpecsAMD X6 4G RIPJAWS 1666 DDR31000W KP PSUGTX 570 Maybe could be my motherboard? its brand new tho. Extremely quick compared to my 9800gtx+, really cool 36c idle vs 52c on 9800gtx+. Over-clock it easily to gtx 570 super-clocked version nothing than the bracket that is slightly bent when i received it, put me in a frustrated momentary thinking that the graphic card isn't compatible to my situation or my motherboard. I asked my dad to bent it so that it straight and challenge solved get the normal version and OC it yourself, you might just save 20 bucks + 20bux tax

I managed to fit it into my mid-sized situation with no obtaining to eliminate my challenging-drive cage. At 10.5 inches in length, it has about a 1 inch clearance from the cage. The length, 10.five" versus 11" was a single of my main deciding factors amongst the 570 and Radeon 6970. Other perks included are the restricted life-time warranty and overall performance tuning software. I've gotten around 30 f.p.s. in metro 2033 with max settings in 1680X1050. I also tested out the card with Sins of Solare Empire Entrenchment (Sacrifice of Angels 2 Mod), Max Settings 1680X1050. It was Dominion and borg (us) vs. 3 federation (them-AI) on a big map with two stars and amongst 150-75 planets. I managed to accomplish about 30-40 f.p.s. average when our races were completely created. Through enormous battles, it would dip to in between 20-30 f.p.s. I've had no driver issues with the other titles I play:M&B Warband, Star-trek On-line, Killing Floor, just Cause 2. All Accomplish near 60 f.ps. or above at max setting The price is a little steep 跽.99 + ů.87 shipping but worth it provided the 570 outperforms the Radeon 6970 in most key directX 11 titles (metro, Lost Planet 2, Battlefield Poor Firm 2, Dirt two at 1680X1050 resolution except Just Lead to 2 (tie) and Alien Versus Predator 񣖺 slightly much better). Even in older DX10 titles like Crysis Warhead and Farcry two, the 570 performs superior in the case of Warhead and outperforms the 6970 at 1680X1050 although 6970 bests it at 1980x1200 and above. The fact that folks are buying 跌-踰 cards to play Call of Duty Black Ops, a directX 9 title, is laughable. Apparently, 1 can now flash the 6950 and unlock the disabled shader processor clusters. This process turns it into a 6970. In brief, efficiency valued at 踑 but at the price tag of 跌 is absolutely nothing to scoff at. Ahead of producing the selection to purchase a GTX 570, I would seriously take into account seeking over the assessment of these Bios-Flashed 6950's. Also, please don't sell your GTX 470, purchase a GTX 570, and then complain of mild f.p.s. improvements. Lastly, this card is runs considerably cooler than it's predecessor and is significantly quieter, even though it does have a low, hardly noticeable hum in the course of incredibly intense game-play. I'll be putting out a much more complete assessment in about 4-5 time.

- A lot fast in all the games I've tried so far.- Overclocked to superclock speeds no dilemma, haven't tried any greater.- Good and quiet (at least as quiet as my old HD5870)- Operates with my HX 520 power provide- With my Q6600 @ 3GHz and GTX 570 I get ~ 125w at idle. Max power usage has been ~ 340w (both measured at the wall). - Free 3dmark 11 None so far Content with my buy so far. Would advise this to an individual gaming at 1920x1200 that likes all the bells and whistles on. To get the no cost 3dmark 11 you ought to go to the mfg web site, register the product, upload your invoice, then locate the no cost 3dmark link to get approval.

Nivida tech and drivers. EVGA has a good fan manage tool and a overclocking tool. You get the Nivida attributes in games like a tiny bit greater effects then a ATI card. A lot more dollars less efficiency then ATI cards of the very same price tag. I don't know what i'll make make my next card. Cuda tech does not perform on most programs that say they use Cuda mainly because of the Fermi.

Good item i normally only get xfx but as they jumped the nvidia ship evga was my subsequent choice and this was my first evga card and i must say it did not disappoint. I was expecting a good jump coming from a 8800 gts xxx but this issue doubled my synthetic benchmarks! Not a con as considerably as good to know information... my card has been ideling at around 40c but at 1st it was at aroud 60c idle and i couldnt figure out why. right after some research i identified when operating dual monitors the card wont down clock itself so after i disabled the second monitor everything went to regular. Hope this helps someone and if your going to run dual monitors your idle temp will be in the 60s fyi.

Under no circumstances hiccups.Overclocked like a champ for me, well past even the "superclocked" version of this card. Utilizing stock cooling, my GPU temp under no circumstances goes above 48C at full load.I upgraded from an 8800GT and words cannot describe the improvement. Unreal. -Extremely potent. Smoothly runs all my present games at 1920x1080 with max settings. In distinct, loading is exceptionally smooth and stutter-totally free as compared to my last two cards (GTX 280 and 4870X2.)-Cool! No, seriously. My room can get up to 75F occasionally, and this card nevertheless idles below 40C. The max I've noticed it under load so far has been 60C.-Quiet. Truly, seriously quiet. I can't hear it over my case fans.-EVGA Warranty. Self-explanatory? -Large. Then once more, most high-end cards are nowadays. I use an Antec 1200 case and have no problems. It's worth noting that my temperatures are with the video card fan running at a constant 70%. I recognize this is larger than most people typically run their GPU fans, but the uncomplicated reality is that the card is so darned quiet I didn't even notice any distinction when I turned it up.Also, I purchased this item from a nearby retailer due to cost point and the truth that I was in need to have of a card fast (my final 1 burned out.) Please don't hold it against me, Newegg. I really like you!

Idles in the low to mid 30's(c). Hottest its ever gotten is 65c and that was throughout benches. Quiet, almost everything operates. Its got some length to it. Mini-HDMI port is a bit unmanly.A bit pricey I genuinely cant say significantly about the efficiency given that all I've utilized it for so far is with Black ops and IL2 (which my old ATI 4830 handled flawlessly at the res I use). Its a tight fit in my Antec300 case but the the end result is that temps went down general after install.

This card is so incredible. I ran gtx 295 ahead of this which ran truly hot. this card runs a lot cooler and gives practically the same performance. I don't consider the 580 can be substantially much better then this card. You almost certainly wouldn't noticed substantially distinction for nearly 200. not to mention how this card is going to run when I get yet another for sli. Nonetheless type of pricey. I would have stayed with the gtx 285 if it wasn't for dx 11 and wanting cooler temps. Will be great to sli.

I upgraded from a HD4870 and this issue seriously delivers in comparison. All games--Crysis included--run at playable frame rates with almost everything maxed on my 1920x1200 monitor. Crysis usually hovers around 30-40 fps, but the gameplay is decievingly smooth. This smooth gameplay is something that I noticed in almost my complete collection of games coming from the 4870. Possibly the most incredible difference to note, nevertheless, is that this card runs Significantly cooler than my 4870. Ahead of I was acquiring 60C idle and up to 98C load. With the 570, I get 35C idle and up to 75C load with a mild overclock to 797񳈪. I ought to mention that these temps had been with custom fan settings, but the fan never goes greater than 75% and nonetheless manages to be quieter than my 4870. The value is perhaps a small high contemplating AMDs' competetive pricing and the really comparable specs of the 6970, but for now it appears the 570 will hold second location only to the 580 in terms of single-GPU video cards, and the value reflects this. As far as overclocking goes, this card isn't as potent an overclocker as the 470, but it nevertheless has a excellent bit of area for improvement if you modify the voltage working with somethng like MSI Afterburner. The stock cooler appears like it can take a fair bit of abuse as nicely. It will be intriguing to see how the 570 and 6970 stack up with new driver releases and better created DX11 games.

Excellent card that runs all titles I at the moment own--max settings. Without having going nuts with additional details, I would surely advocate the card. It runs the identical value as the 5870 line and outperforms it effortlessly. I owned both, so this is coming from individual expertise and benchmarks. None so far. In reference to the evaluation beneath from Pdiddy:If you are complaining about the price tag of the 570, there are lots of less costly cards that will be in a position to meet even an avid gamer's needs, for a lot more affordable. This is a card for the enthusiast and/or the hardcore gamer. Especially when the price tag of the card competes with ATI's 5870 line and it OUTPERFORMS. So I do not know what you are making use of to justify cost. Those other cards are also smaller. Also, smaller than complete circumstances are not for owners who will get the correct use from a card like this. In closing, and this goes for all reviewers; rate a item based on its functionality, not if it meets your demands or not. That's why there are alternatives.

Superior cooling and airflow, in particular if one particular were to have two in SLI in a close pack, as the fan location is indented.Right after some tweaking and messing around, my card is presently running at:-910MHz Core-1820MHz Shader-2100MHz MemoryEven though this is in all probability on the high finish of the bell curve for these cards, it is nevertheless awesome.Even even though 910MHz is rather high, I basically still have headroom, as my voltage is only 1.100V (Fermi tolerates 1.2v as I fully grasp it), and the temperature maxes out at 71C with 80% fan. (Plenty to go, as I am content with my Nvidia cards getting at 90C)Stability and temperatures tested with Passmark and Heaven Benchmark, completely stable at these clocks. -Pricey, but not terrible. -Huge, but as expected for a high end card.-Only two monitors supported, and no Nvidia hardware equivalent of eyefinity.-Nevertheless cant max out FSX (ALL the bars to max) comfortably, even with an AMD 6 core at four.4GHz, 8Gigs at 1600 clock, and this at 910MHz. I cant knock this card for that, as its not the GPU that is the limiting factor. Performance/$ is significantly much better than the 580, in particular considering that most fermi cards will overclock similarly, so the 570 is 15ቬ 鸠 of 512 cores enabled) as great as the 580 for resolutions much less than 2560x1600. At super high resolutions (or multiple monitors) the 580 tends to get a far better hold simply because of the larger memory.Though I do use this card for some games (which it runs swimmingly by the way), the main purpose I got it is for my parallel CFD programing, which i required a fermi card for the enhanced double-precision efficiency and comparatively effortless GPGPU programming (I cant afford the Testa Cards). At the time of assessment: operating 263.09 Nvidia Drivers, 7 Ultimate x64, 2x Samsung 1920x1080.I will be purchasing yet another shortly for better software debugging capability.

I have benchmarked the card in Crysis, Crysis 2, Metro 2033, and Grand Theft Auto four, as nicely as some other games. It exceeded my expectations.I also benchmarked it in 3Dmark 06, 3DMark Vantage, 3Dmark 11, Unigine Heaven, and Endless City Demo. The FPS was constantly above 30.-Stays cool, fantastic vapor chamber technologies. My only Con, which isn't actually a con, is that I wish it came with the backplate, as I hear that it keeps the card even cooler. Obtain this card if you are seeking to run all games at maximum settings for the subsequent couple of Years :)
