Fast and fantastic. So far I have no probs with this card and decent bang for buck, if your debating on finding a 480 vs 570... just get a 570 if you want to SLI it, but just get a 580 if you don't. Newegg shipped it open box, no anti-static wrap, the plastic that protects the stickers were peeled off, sorta annoyed me but when I popped it in it worked fine so I guess mine was the unfortunate card that got selected for good quality handle. :(Also, by no means ship with UPS when you reside in Canada. Runs hot, but that's anticipated had to put my own custom fan profile but hey! at least it warms my feet in winter! :D

Upgraded from a SC GTX 470 and immediately after just 2 days I can see performance increase. 1st off playing Fallout: NV at 1900x1200 Ultra High Settings ƘxAA 8xAF) I got a flat 60fps, under no circumstances dropped. Havent played something else yet but I'm certain it will look just as incredible. Runs about 10°C cooler than the 470 when gaming and about five°C cooler when idle, the fan is much quieter as effectively. This could be though that it's a brand new card but I did clean out dust from the 470 on a monthly basis. Windows performance rates it at 7.9ǝ.9 in graphics and gaming graphics. GTX 470 SC was rated at 7.6ǝ.9. For the cost I would have liked a backplate to come on it, but EVGA does sell them separate on their internet site. Would have preferred a regular HDMI out port rather of a mini (no adapter hassle) but there are identical cards that come with a regular HDMI out (GTX 570 HD SC). I just didn't like the fan design of those models. Fantastic Item. Was hesitant about upgrading from a GTX 470 SC but I can see a substantial difference in overall performance and heat reduction. Worth the upgrade price IMO. Also this card does not appear that far behind the 580 from benchmark results. The 580 doesn't supply that substantially of a efficiency raise to justify spending an added 贬 IMO.

Runs games nicely. Mine came with the high flow bracket on the back (different than pictured in a good way)Difficult to inform the difference from the 5870 therefore far since I'm only working with one particular (wanted to use 2, but... see cons) The broken one particular is broken I bought two of these to run in SLI. One works extremely nicely, the other is broken. EVGA has excellent customer service in that I could call them at 9pm on a Sunday night and I already have an RMA for the defective product. That I'm pleased about, and I'm not essentially removing an egg for the broken card. I'm removing an egg simply because even though the card was DOA, I still have to pay for return shipping. I could realize if it's been a though considering that I purchased it, but... it hasn't been. I would've liked to see a 1-month defective policy for free of charge shipping on defective merchandise. Kind of disappointed with that. Hopefully they have a speedy return and I get 1 with one more High Flow Bracket. If I get a worse item in return, far more eggs will be removed.

Purchased one particular to replace my 4 year old 8800GTS in sli set up. They were the dinasuars in my I7, 8GB ddr3 2000 set up. The card is fantastic, runs every thing with all settings set to the highest. Negative Company 2, TDU2, etc. Very happy with the purchse. None so far. System runs like a charm, this card runs Really cool compared to my 8800GTS, and from searching at stats of the 470 series also. Purchased the card directly from EVGA. Waited 7 days for Newegg to get it in stock, they finally got it in stock the day mine shipped from EVGA. I see they are the moment once more currently out of stock. Also poor, this is a excellent card.

- Utilizes less energy than my old GTX280- Excellent Cost for Efficiency compared to the GTX580- Burns through Folding@Home with ease - It was a bit tough to get it seated effectively in my mobo, but it's usually expected from these forms of double-sized video cards.- Doesn't bitstream Dolby Correct-HD or DTS-HD.....at least not that I know of yet. I ordered this card to replace my now crippled GTX 280 I got from BFG Tech, as the GTX 280 was steadily failing and BFG Tech was no longer about to honor their "lifetime warranty". I've been very impressed with this card so far, in particular due to the fact I didn't have to shell out almost as a lot as I believed I would for a very good NVidia Graphics Card.

Very good card. I have a CoolMaster case and I can hear the fan ramp up. As soon as the fan hits 65% its noticable above my case fans. I'm coming from an EVGA 275gtx and this is a ver huge improvement. Plus its DX11.Right here are some frame rates I captured with FRAPSAVP 2010 DX11 Max Settings at 1920 81fps avgPoor Corporation 2 DX11 Max Settings at 1920 70fps Black Ops Max Settings at 1920 59fps Homefront DX11HIGH (not highest) 63fps HIGHEST No AA 27fps Metro 2033 DX11 High at 1920 No AA 41fps Highest 24fps Overall I'm am incredibly satisfied with this acquire over my previous 275 gtx. If I had been to game at at 1680x1050 this would do even greater. But why waste a 27" Samsung like that? I have by no means believed of receiving SLI cards but I may well if they come down in about 6 months to help out with my enormous monitor NOT A CONI do NOT overclock my GPU's, RAM, or CPU's above factory. I just want to point that out mainly because i couldn't uncover any information on an i7 920 stock chip for the life of me to evaluate how my machine would do.So I hope this review will assist someone becaue it would have me... Runs wonderful in SLI with a 9800 running PhysX. Two of these replaced two HD5870's in Crossfire, there is a achieve in performance. These issues run hot!, I dont care what anyone says...78-85c beneath load (fans on highest setting) is just wrong. I guess I will water cool them...great another 350 bucks. Truth is I switched back to NVIDIA since the drivers are going down hill for huge red.

Runs BFBC2 (& vietnam) maxed @ 1920x1200 - 55 - 110 fps.Metro 2033 High @ 1920x1200 - 40 - 70 fps.Bioshock two maxed - Mafia two maxed - Just Result in two maxed - Batman AA maxed - Fear two maxed - Black Ops Maxed.Mine runs 36 C @ idle - 65 @ load (use the precision and allow fan manage) without the high flow bracket that's in the mail. Software package manufacturers should cater to Pc gamers! Console porting is good for PS3 and Xbox owners, but I am now @ or ahead the computer software capabilities with my hardware.Software businesses want to catch up - Metro 2033 is just poorly coded (as bfbc2 looks considerably far better in the frame than m2033) 5 eggs go to EVGA who've put together an outstanding product - still waiting on 3d mark 11, but the two cost-free games are installed and running flawlessly.

480 processor cores=excellent gaminglower general temps than prior gtx 2-- models hmmm, thats difficult. Loud fan at full power, but thats fairly typical. With SLI pretty significantly a gaming common there wants to be quantity discount for dual card getting. As well high priced for seperate purchases Upgraded to one particular of these from dual gtx 275 and it a lot more than doubled my avg. framerate(FPS) on BFBC two, L4D2 and Deadspace two.

This is a highly effective card!! With my i7 two.eight ghz, 6 gbs of ram, and this negative boy. I can play every single game I own max out (including Crysis two) except one.... Dragon Age II. But thats for the cons. Like alot of folks are saying, this card is the very same size as the GTX 260 so its a bit massive but fits fine in my machine. As constantly with Nvidia, the drivers worked flawlessly. I am just actually happy with the card... BF:BC2, Mass Effect two, Just Lead to two, Mafia II, Metro 2033 all perform ideal. Just overall fantastic card. Now for the cons, theses are deal breakers what so ever but you ought to be warned. You need a higher amp PSU to run this thing. I was using my older 630 watt PSU and the card crashed my personal computer. Apparently the amperage wasn't high sufficient following reading the forums, went out and picked up myself up a 720 watt PSU with larger amps and it operates best! 2nd Con: For whatever reason Dragon Age II is a hefty game. The game appears good but it shouldn't kick my computer system's read finish tough. On max settings I only get like 30 - 38 fps. Putting the game on 1 graphic setting less (high) and it performs great and still appears superior but seriously? Crysis two operates perfect on max and no DA2?? Hmm odd but it matches up with the benchmarks. Awesome powerful card at a good price tag. Just hope it can handel Battlefield three when it comes out in the Fall!

This is no doubt a excellent card, awesome FPS with a 2600K(stock) & 8Gb ram. Just make certain you have a processor that can handle this otherwise you will get bottlenecked. No need for SLI with this unless you are going for ultra high resolutions. Single card solutions like this 1 are nevertheless viable for high finish gaming. Either this card operates good or it starts to have problems right after about a month due to the factory overclock. You can go read up on this on the evga forums. Mine suffered the exact same fate, artifacting following 3 weeks and then windows freezing crashing. I RMA'ed it, went very rapidly thanks to new egg and alls nicely again. I had to do some tweaking in the registry to get it to do the refresh rate i wanted in some games, but thats an OS problem. I was a tiny torn in between three and four eggs. But i would recommend this card as extended as you are prepared for a possible RMA, but that goes with any product these days. Most buyers really should be fine id consider. I just got unlucky.

replaced a overclocked 5850 that served me nicely, bfbc2 looks good maxed out. Quiet and cool as soon as i added a bottom added fan to my cosmos case. And set a fan profile with msi afterburner ( evga precision works just as properly ). just before i added the fan temps where maxing out at 87c now in the low 70's on complete load, for the price tag its a much better deal then a gtx 580 because most games only show a 10 to 15 fps improvement with the 580. major driver problems, had to reinstall os following the 263.09 drivers hosed my vista 64bit dpi settings and just all about where a mess.( uninstalled through add/remove, then secure mode driver sweeper then reinstalled ) 266.58 drivers seemed to repair all the complications i was getting been working wonderful. The registration approach is flawed i got this as a gift and was only in a position to register the serial number and not upload the receipt considering that i dont have it, was a gift so i dont know what im gona do if i have a hardware difficulty. had to take off a egg for that and shipping that awful driver with the card. good card not a significant noticeable improvement more than the 5850 but it clearly is far better, im seeking towards the future releases anyways.dont use the 263.09 drivers on vista 64bit

Purchased this to replace my GTX 285, and it is a screamer. Nicely, 'screamer' in that it'll gobble up anything i throw at it, as it runs fairly quiet. I got an average enhance of 20 FPS in all my games (BFBC2, Crysis, Mass Effect). And from what i read on-line it is stated that the superclocked version approaches the speed of the 580, which is quite welcome. And the power drawn is about the exact same as my old card. None yet It's pretty large, it was virtually identical to my old GTX 285. At around ten.5 inches, make confident you can fit in in your case.

I'm running two of these in SLi on an Intel DX58SO Extreme, and I'm Really impressed with the efficiency. I have a Samsung 245BW Monitorྸ") and I'm seeing big performance increases over my previous 2x BFG GTX 260 MAXXCORE cards. I'm still waiting for my 3dMark 11 and I'm running a GSkill Phoenix Pro SSD so a little leary about running benchmarks but FARCRY2 Benchmark was peaking at 255 FPS and averaging around 125-150 FPS. Ran Crysis in DEVMODE and at Complete graphics around water effects wasn't getting below 58 FPS...which for Crysis...not also shabby. Substantially quieter than the GTX260's which whined all the time. The Precision program from EVGA allows you to tweak some setting, I truly ran these up to 800MHz and 1600Mhz really minor clock tweak with no troubles, there was a tweak from EVGA to permit much more fan control because the original release of these cards which limited fan speed to 85%... none really...1 card runs up to about 80C at full load, the other..about ten degrees cooler...fans are on auto-control, I ordered the high-flow backplates and the leading plates for them. I case with fantastic cooling aids, I have the Corsair Obsidian 800D, which I instantly switched all of the Corsair fans out of with Scythe fans...ambient temp even with the two monsters in it stays just above space temp...about 70F.

Quite very good DX11 card. Slightly OC'd compared to the 'vanilla' card. Runs pretty cool in my CM HAF case, and I can play something with out worry. Posts some respectable benchmarks! I did get some artifacting in Mafia II, but some reading indicated that there might be a feature that below-feeds the card with power in some instances to prevent catastrophy...but come on...this shouldn't take place at 70C. Excellent card, and eVGA has a great reputation with me. OC'd from the factory over the 'reference' model.

The issue works great on a common monitor. I hooked it up to my 23" Samsung HD monitor and it worked like a charm. Rift looked gorgeous. Ultra settings everything maxed out. This is not the fault of the card (at least so I believe) nevertheless I use a 32" 1080p HDTV as my monitor. When I installed the card, the resolution was terrible and the colors had been even worse. I attempted it on a various HDTV and identical concern, I attempted making use of a DVI-HDMI adapter to see if that helped, no dice. Very good luck obtaining an answer from google or nvidia for that matter. The sad part is that I upgraded from an HD 4870 which has no troubles with the resolution or colors. I rescale the desktop and it's excellent to go. The nvidia drivers/cards. Not so much. I'm giving this 3 eggs. I would have offered it 1 but I don't believe this issue is the card's fault. I blame nvidia. Newegg's return policy regarding this is much less than satisfactory. I would like to send this card back and go with an HD 6970 - on the other hand it seems the return policy does not permit this. Now I'm stuck with a 踈 card that I'm not even utilizing. FML.

Runs Almost everything i throw at it smoothly. I have it overclocked to 880mhz at 1.088v and my temps by no means go above 75c on a custom fan profile at stock cooling. This setup gets me a 6000 score on 3dMark11 which is gtx 580 territory. Heaven benchmark runs at 62fps with a min of 28 on default settings at 1920x1080. Metro 2033 runs maxed out at 35fps. None seriously, I wish EVGA had a better way to set the voltage for the card. The way it stands proper now i have to enter it manually by means of eleet each time i begin up windows. i run this with an i5 2500k @ four.6ghz on a p8p67 pro with 8gb of 1600mhz 7-8-7 ripjawsx memory. 1. Very quiettwo. Twice what my Gtx 280 wasthree. Evga assistancefour. less energy and runs cooler then a gtx 280 1. 3 in sli tends to make for a big enhance in temps, like 55c idle from 35c. I have two in sli in a Haf 932 and they run at 35c Idle and about 68c load. Not one problem operating every thing smooth with one particular card. Use three screens at 1920 x 1200 and then you will require the additional power. I keep the fan @ 60% and have them set to enhance at 1% per 1c and have yet to see over 72c.
