G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1000 (PC2 8000) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory
Cons:Nothing, really.

Pros:- Good "bang for buck"; probably one of the best sets of RAM in this price range- Generally speedy memory- Good warranty- Look nice and simple
Comment:
Got this RAM for a recent build and it's performing well in a P5Q Pro with stock voltage, timings and frequency. For the price, this memory is great; I have had no issues with it yet. Would recommend this product!

Pros:great priceoc well
Comment:
I have been slowly upping the speed on this ram and i haven't encountered any problems yet. The sale price was excellent and that was without any mail in rebate crap. I find that these sticks work a lot better in my 680i board that my previous ocz gold.

G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1000 (PC2 8000) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory
Cons:None, for $60 you get everything DDR2 has to offer.

Pros:Runs on 1.9VDDR2 800mhz Cas4 and DDR2 1000mhz Cas5 possibleLifetime warranty!
Comment:
This memory represents the best value for a 2x2GB kit. 1.9V is all that was needed to run either DDR2 1000mhz at Cas 5 or DDR2 800mhz at Cas 4. Using 2.05 volts I was able to get 1066mhz. This review was modfied by poster @ 02-11-09 10:49 PM

Pros:Good OCFast TimingIt's great

I was a little skeptical when i bought this ram due to my 680i SLI MB. I've mixed it with 2x1GB Mushkin HP2-6400. For a total of 6GB. I had issues with 4x1GB Mushkin HP2-6400. Like Vista 64 issues. But none now.. Makes no sense. Windows experience has gone from 5.0 to 5.4. Really happy how fast everything boots. I really liked G.Skill's website for support and what MB ram was tested on. P5N-E SLI, which is a little fussier than my 680i LT SLI, altho like any memory module, seems to be a crap shoot. But I'm so glad I took a chance. 4-3-3 1T 2Vw800mhz, WOW is all I have to say... or 5-5-18 2T 2.1Vw1100mhz+ This is my first attempt with G.Skill, I'm very impressed. I seemed to have gotten a good batch

I got this ram for $58 dollars during one of the sales. Worked right off the bat in my new computer and no problems at all. I heard this set is very stable if you plan on overclocking as well.

Cons:- None that I can think of...

Pros:- Fairly priced- Great specs- 4GB of goodness- They look pretty
Comment:
I don't know what to really say about this RAM. It runs fine at the stock settings. I'm sure if you took the time, you could probably find lower operating voltages for the RAM if you were running the DIMMs at a lower speed.All-in-all, an awesome deal

G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1000 (PC2 8000) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory
Cons:-Had to manually set voltage

Pros:-Price-Lifetime warranty-Looks
Comment:
Popped these in a new build and all was not too well. Took me about a day and roughly a few post to figure out the problem. Had to manually set the volts but leave timings on auto. I don't think it's the fault of the ram just my motherboard being picky. Other then that It has been working fine so far.

Cons:- none

Pros:- cheap- high quality
Comment:
These sticks of ram are high quality and great for the price. The heat spreaders are really nice. The ram is actually 800MHz but guaranteed rated at 1000MHz so you won't have any trouble if you want to overclock any of the Core 2 processors. You'll actually be running them below the rated speed if you run them at 1:1 FSB:DRAM ratio and so you can make the timings even tighter.

I installed this RAM and its flawless so far. Nice little and light package, DDR1000 which is expensive with other brands, and has a very good timing. 2.0 to 2.1v is good stuff as well. This is the first time I buy from G-Skill, but so far no complaints!

Good price for a 1000mhz ram. I managed to o/c the e8400 easily to 4.2ghz using 466fsb and this ram didn't complain one bit.

I haven't noticed a huge difference between these DDR2-1000 and my DDR2-less-than-800 in my HP pre-fab machine. Overall, it's great for the price. I can't really say much about overclocking as I don't do it. It's bang-for-your-buck RAM that works and has a lifetime warranty apparently. It also came with a little sticker badge for my case. :D

These are some sexy sticks of ram, The heat sinks on them look great and they do what their built to do. I ordered these at 8Pm at night and they were sitting on my doorstep the next day at Dinner time, I was shocked! I live like 700-800 KM away from their location, quite a distance. I only have 32bit OS, I ran into some complications getting my 64bit working so I need to find a new one... The speed was definitely noticeable right when I put them in, even though Only 3323MB of the 4GB were being read! Also; My ram speed was at 851MHz due to my previous CPU overclock, which limited my previous ram, I just jumped the settings up and their sitting what appears to be a stable 1051MHz. Overall I'm quite impressed!

I'm very satisfied with these sticks. I would buy again for sure. No errors, 100% stable. I was able to reach 4050mhz with my E8400 and P5Q-Pro combo.

Pros:Great priceQualityFast enough to allow decent OCsnice heatspreader
Comment:
Bought this kit for my workstation that's running a P5K Premium and E8500 E0 at 4.3GHz. RAM has worked flawlessly from day one. Decent stock timings and voltage. 500FSB will allow for a nice overclock before the RAM becomes a limiting factor. These DIMMs run a lot cooler than my (now deceased) Crucial D9 Tracers 1066MHz and with a little active airflow around the DIMMs (I have an Antec Spot-cool pointed at mine) theyre even cooler. Definitely great RAM, will most likely be picking up another kit soon for 8GB in my workstation.5/5 stars, G.Skill FTW This review was modfied by poster @ 09-29-09 09:37 AM

Pros:Cheap, Fast, Good looks
Comment:
These are cheap even without MIR (I hate those), but still run fast, and I overclocked them a bit to 1100mhz to keep the ratio with my FSB and they still were stable. These also have a low profile look, unlike corsairs while still managing to look nice.

This is a very reliable product from a very reliable brand. I've installed this RAM onto a Gigabyte EP45 DS3L motherboard and it works flawlessly on my Vista 64 bit system. Even when overclocking, it runs flawlessly as well. The price, combined this a lifetime warranty (!!!) makes this a great deal. Highly recommend this over other RAM, will purchase this again for another build in the future.

G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1000 (PC2 8000) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory
Cons:Does not overclock. Tends to like standard clock speeds (my set likes 1000, 800, 667, and 533mhz, any other clock speeds seem to cause booting problems).

Pros:Great price for 4GB of RAM.
Comment:
If you need 4GB of RAM (hell if you even if you don't need 4GB of RAM), this is a great purchase for the price. I had some issues with overclocking, and running the RAM at non-standard clocks (such as 920, or 840), but at standard clock speeds my sample runs perfectly. (I memtested for about 12 hours at 1000mhz at 2.0 Volts with nary an issue.)
