Took A Dell Inspiron 1521 to the max on memory, some memory tools (newegg) recommend 4 GB 667MHz but Dell and Crutial advise 4 GB 800MHz as achievable upgrades, G.Ability comes by again. Couldn't come across anywhere that this memory would be compatible / G.Skills forum was useless

Performs fine in Gateway m285-e. I don't know if it sped up the laptop, but there's less incidents of hesistation or lag, almost under no circumstances now. A bit pricey, but all memory is costly for the final year or so. 2x 2gb is overkill I believe ... it appears 2x 1gb would've been enough. Activity master shows much less than 1 GB usage with window$ 7 x64Can't sell my old 2x 512 mb sticks, wah.Timings are 5-5-5-13 on my laptop at ddr2 333 (double pumped that's 667 MHz or Mops or whatever).

With 4Gb, lots of headroom, and some efficiency improvements. But nonetheless struggling with Wifi-N, even following upgrading from Atheros to Intel.

Installed the memory in minutes and booted the iMac proper up! None so far. Have iMac Core 2 Duo 2.8GHz from 2008. It came with 2GB ram but with numerous applications opened it began obtaining slow. Got the G.Ability 4GB ƒx2GB) from Newegg and installed smoothly. iMac considerably more quickly with all the necessary application running at the identical time.

I upgraded the RAM in my wife's laptop with this over 2 years ago. Still running wonderful in her (now fairly old) gaming laptop. She only plays WoW, so this laptop is still working fantastic for her. none Stability & Reliability are confirmed from somebody who's been gaming with this RAM for more than 2 years now.

I have a lot more and more quickly ram. Does what it says on the box :D I applied to overclock my Aspire Acer Revo N330 3610 to 1.9 ghz. Now I can only go up to 1.7 from 1.66 and keep stable. What is up with that? Stock ram was of same speed but was CL 6 Method feels faster even with the slower CPU speed but I haven't performed something on the new ram except heavy web browsing. ƒ Browsers 7 Tabs)Side Note: Acer Aspire Revo can only use 3gb of ram. I got say the ram is worth each penny. I by no means purchased G.Ability before and generally stick with far more trustworthy brands. I have a Inspiron laptop which was just operating also slow with only 1GB on windows vista. Did some research and identified that 32 bit would only read 3gb on my laptop. Luckily it reads all 4GB. The subscore at the moment is four.four for memory. none. Haven't checked how rapid the memory is operating. Comes in a cool looking box.

It runs. This kit was suppose to run on the speed of CL5-5-five-15 under 400MHz, which was the speed of DDRII-800 as advertised. But, surprisingly, that was not the case. I installed the memory sticks and ran CPU-Z on my laptop or computer.It showed that it was running on the speed beneath 333MHz, which was the speed of DDRII-667.In addition, the software program showed that if I employed the memory under the speed of DDRII-800鷐MHz), the CL would be CL-6-6-6-18.There is a sticker on the original package, showing "DDRII800 PC6400 2048X2 CL5-five-five-15", which indicates that under the speed of DDRII-800 the CL ought to be CL-5-5-5-15.But, the CL will in fact be CL-6-6-6-18 beneath DDRII-800. I upgraded from 2GB to 4GB and this memory greatly speeds up my HackBookPro operating Snow Leopard and Win 7 x64 ;) Inadequate retail packaging which would almost certainly not survive if "saver" shipping was employed (don't consider G-Skill or newegg is to blame though). Excellent factor I bought a number of items as cushions (see other thoughts). My laptop is setup to boot Snow Leopard (default) and Win 7. I purchased this memory along with a 640GB SATA II drive to give my laptop a second life. Soon after being a reluctant M$ customer for ten+ years, I consider I'm going to "Think Diverse" ;)Note that 800 MHz cannot be employed in laptops with Core2Duo / Santa Rosa platform. This is a hardware limitation which locks the memory speed at 667. (I just got the 800 MHz for my laptop anyway given that it was the same price as the 667 at the time of acquire)For those worried about "handling", add numerous items in your cart until you get "Guaranteed 3 Day" choice.
