A phenomenal set which runs flawlessly at any setting (even at 1984 mhz!). The set will give much more than enough RAM to run something for years to come. From WoW at a max of 60fps, to insane video rendering, the memory is amazing. Months ago I could come up with no flaw, but now it's about 40% of what I paid. Not gonna price an egg although. Nice seeking set, but not sure how it would fit in smaller situations due to the big flashy style. I'm developing a micro htpc soon and will note if there are any problems. They overclock effectively. The heat sinks are truly pretty great, I am impressed by them. Multitasking madness! They're red! That's just a personal preference, but even although I was impress the heat sink I will mention they do not feel as sturdy as my previous XMS3. DDR3 operates anwhere and can be mixed and matched if the timings match none...properly the ripjaws stuff is a bit corny; I have no interest in gaming shows up as 1333 with 8-8-8- timings-- had to load the xmp profile and it recognized the higher speeds

Undoubtedly the Value... When you boot up your laptop or computer the RAM will show as 1333MHZ in the post. You will have to go into the Bios and set it to 1Ɉ 1600 DRAM frequency. Soon after this set the timings manually.9-9-9-24T2DRAM Votage I began at 1.8V and worked my way down to 1.61V...the board would not let me go lower than that to 1.5V.

Works as it's supposed to. Didnt perform at very first (see other thoughts) It's operating at 1600mhz and 1.5v on my Intel DP55KG mobo. Previously I had some Patriot Sector 5 ram that was unstable at 1600mhz and 1.5v so I was content that this works correctly. Even so when I 1st popped in the ram, my pc wouldn't pass bios. It would beep and reboot until powered down. I had to make sure my bios settings were at "automatic" for my memory settings so simply because the timings were off. I assume my mobo was trying to maintain the timing for my old ram. So basically this ram is excellent, but just make sure your bios is set to automatic for your ram settings. This is Intel's fault not G Ability so no eggs taken off.
