Comment:
Quite quiet, sleeved, rubber mounts in kit. Also has a temp sensor on a 6" lead. I believe these may possibly garner rather a following if they prove dependable. Wish it had been less costly and produced somewhere other than China to help spread US dollars far more judiciously. Replaced a whiney old Dell cpu fan with this one and now makes a suitably silent HTPC, can hardly tell when it's running. Hope it lasts as lengthy as the decrepit stock fan. More curiosity than anything else, but is it a intelligent decision to make a fan colored beige for some reason? recycled?.. not from this country of origin methinks. |

For the sale priec of $4.99, the fan is worth the investment for a basic system. It is slightly more noise than some similar products at $5-10 more. You get what you pay for. |

Do not get this fan. It is not quiet at all even at the lowest speed, which makes thermal control pointless. The plastic feels cheap, even though it apparently has a hydrodynamic bearing. Avoid! |
Incredibly quietRubber mountsUncomplicated InstallEnjoy the way they look in all black caseNo lights None Take your time with the rubber mounts. I applied this on a Rosewill cpu cooler in which the stock fan was super noisy. I put this in and cranked up to the max I could not hear it. It doesn't appear like it moves a lot of air but with this fan my cpu temp dropped from -38 to -32 idle. Triple core athlon Rana 2.7ghz overclocked to three.1ghz. Fantastic fan!
