THIS IS A GREAT PERFORMING MB. HAD SOME TROUBLE DURING SETUP, BUT IT WASN'T THE MB'S FAULT. GIGABYTE TECH SERVICE WAS VERY HELPFULL. SO YOU KNOW THERE IS HELP IF YOU NEED IT. I RECOMMEND THIS MB.

Well packaged, extra cables etc made it nice. I wish the POST screen had a cooler image, but whatever. Lotsa USB ports! That is the reason I bought it.

pretty good
Comment:
i got this with a prebuilt kit, i used it for a month with the windows 7 RC and it worked fine, then i happened to get the nice little windows 7 bug where it stops your mic from recording in. its not the motherboards fault but my gripe with it is when i tried installing windows xp pro on it, for some reason it was not installing and it kept messing up, i dont know if this is a mobo problem but thought id throw it out there

GIGABYTE GA-EP43-UD3L ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons:Did not work initially with my RAM

Pros:Works well out of box, decent OC
Comment:
Bought Corsair 4gb RAM and it did not work with the mobo. Had to RMA the RAM to figure it out. Kind of a pain but otherwise works well with E8400 and Radeon 4850

Happy with Product
Comment:
This is my first Gigabyte mobo. I am not a tech specialist, but have cobbled myself up a computer or two, so I am not a complete ignoramus when it comes to hardware. This was a replacement for an ECS board that went bad, and boy am I happy with this! Easy installation with no serious complications, dead nuts reliable so far (been using it for about a week). I could use all my old memory (even different speeds), SATA HDDs and PCI cards. My only snag was that it only has one IDE legacy hook up so I either have to choose between my IDE HDs or my IDE DVD drives, since my case doesn't have them positioned so I can hook up one of each. But I'm going to fix that by buying a new SATA DVD drive. A slight snag that I ran into with the installation was that the hardware wizard couldn't find the hdaudbus.sys file, even when I loaded up my original Win XP Pro disk. Turns out the file is Hdaudbus.sys, but the wiz was looking for all lowercase. Weird, huh? Renamed the file l/c to fix it.

Great motherboard. Well priced. Has 8 USB ports which is good compared to my old P35-DS3L with only 4. Never had a problem with Gigabyte products. Very recommended.

Average for a good price
Comment:
Lots of features easy to install but bad layout because several PCI slots are right next to RAM slots.

Very good mid-price board
Comment:
You get what you pay for. It has a good fast start up, and has quite impressive capabilities. It will get bogged down under heavy use but just doing some micro-managing will fix that. Recommend a fast CPU and GPU with this board to keep it humming. Its a beast when paired with them.

Incredible board for the price.
Comment:
When my Biostar board died, i needed one that fit my budget and would handle the processor I had. This board is incredible! When you compare the price to the quality and capability, hands down, this is worth every penny! I'm running 4 gig OCZ Fatality RAM, and a C2D E7400 processor. I am very pleased with this product!
