I have ordered a 50 footer and another 25 footer, hoping the 50 will be as good as this first 25 footer, also I uses a femal to femal and added another 6 feet on for one current config, so 31 feet = bonus no issues, starchoice 1080i for shows and 720p for sports, Oppo DV981 HD up converting DVD's to 1080i, and ATI 1800 running not sure but a high res, all on a Optoma HD70 DLP Projector, Currently have 2 of these setups running, very happy with this cable so far, other projector is running Component until new cables arrive! Comment:
Picked this cable up so I can use one of my older PC's, which has a BFG 6800 GT AGP video card, with my new Sharp 52" 1080p television. Running DVI-out to the HDMI-in on the display was a snap. I was worried about the long cable length involved despite it being digital, but it works great and the picture is perfect at 1920x1200. Even 720p looks great. I was originally using component out from a EVGA 7950 GX2 PCI-E video card, but the Nvidia drivers limit output to 1080i using this method of connection. Thanks to this cable I can get 1080p, which really does look better since there is less artifacting going on thanks to not having to go through de-interlacing. Connecting digitally is just so much better than analog, I wish I could connect everything I own this way. You get much longer cable runs and no interference, since digital either works or it doesn't, no in between.
