It has no SPDIF connector on the backpanel, but you can make your own coax connector by connecting a rca jack up to the SPDIF header (centre to positive, outer ring to negative). |

Overall this is adecent board for those looking for a 1155 system on a budget. However, I am using this board in an Antec Fusion mATX chassis, where I do not have the room to place a second ATI card to run crossfire...I wish they would have placed the second PCI-E connector one slot closer to the first one to allow crossfire in some HTPC chassis like mine. Being where it is, the second PCI-E slot also blocks your USB / audio headers if you have a second card installed. |

Very good low cost small mATX motherboard. Has most connectors you would look for : USB3.0, HDMI, VGA, DVI. But has no Firewire (backpanel) or IDE port. Other than that it has everything you would look for and seems well made and durable.My powersupply only had 20 pins instead of the newer 24 pins connector but this board works well with a G540 CPU in it. |

I'm hestitant to write a review after only a couple days, but this is a really good basic motherboard. As the other reviews mention, it has USB3 (including a FP header), SATA3 and Ivy Bridge support. I swapped out an older AMD combo for this motherboard and an i3 in a machine running Ubuntu 12.04 and everything came up perfectly on the first boot. I don't even know what the bios looks like :) |

I basically started with the lowest-priced motherboard and went one-by-one until I found one that:- support 3rd gen CPUs- DDR 1600- SATA IIIThere isn't RAID support and there are no IDE controllers, but if you don't need other features, why pay for them?In the end, I put together an i5-3450, GTX 560ti, 8GB RAM, 700W PSU and 120GB SSD with no problems, and plenty of money saved! |
WOW on board VIDEO, on board audio. You can have 16GB RAM. Mine has 8GB. That is enough for WIN 7 PRO 32 bits.The SATA3 connect sideway while the SATA2 connect vertically. At least they are color coded.I have not seen a motherboard so small. HEY... it works. I have an INTEL Core I5 3.3 Ghz. The BIOS is hard to understand and should WAIT longer for you to decide to press DEL, F9 or F12. It took me several attempts to finally get the PC to booth on the hard drive. Those selections are not easy to make due to color change "If the choice is PALE that is the one you select; if the color is DARK dont use that one."
