Gigabyte G41M-ES2L Motherboard This board is rock solid, I can't believe the problems people have with this board. I own two of these motherboards, fitted with Intel Core2 Duo processors. Both are running Windows 7 just fine. I have SATA and IDE drive mixes on both systems and had no problems with that combination,(500gig SATA WD and IDE 80gig Seagate's) The Phoenix Bios programing is top notch in my books. The motherboard it's self is sturdy including all the plug in ports. For being a fairly cheap motherboard, your getting your money's worth plus. I've purchased other mother boards for about the same price, but with Gigabyte your definitely getting quality right out of the box.

Gigabyte G41M-ES2L Motherboard My only complaint with the board is the drivers that accompanied it. The drivers arrived on a dvd disc. Since I didn't have a dvd optical drive or purchase one with the kit, I could not get the board up and running until I found a friend with a computer to copy the drivers onto a thumb drive. Once I ran the drivers from the thumb drive. the board worked wonderfully. However, there should have been some warning in the sales promo.

Gigabyte G41M-ES2L Motherboard Solid mother board for everday computing and a bit more. I run recording equipment on this board with no fuss. for the price you definitely cant complain. If you are using graphic heavy applications i suggest replacing the on board video with a card. Constant video load seems it may burn your board like most cheap basic integrated video. But don't get me wrong it can run video well but not made for heavy prolonged video use.

Gigabyte G41M-ES2L Motherboard The board appaarently works fast and is of quality. The problem is that it is supposed to be Windows 7 Compliant, and it is not. I believe it is or will be recalled due to serious problems with the onboard video. It is a shame as it is a fine board and deserves better rating. However, it is my opinion that any board produced today should have at its main goal the Window 7 OS. This is not just the furture, it is here.

Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400 Processor BX80580Q8400 This processor is unbelievable!!! (coming from someone who has never had a PC with more than one core XP) It flies. Simple as that. I paired it up with an ATI Radeon 4650 GPU and 2 GB of RAM. Awesome combo for my first PC build!!!

Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400 Processor BX80580Q8400 I'm not a game player but I replaced a dual core with the Q8400 and I will say I can watch a movie and work at the same time now with out picture freezing up or being choppy.

Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400 Processor BX80580Q8400 Intel CPUs better run smooth, no? I mean, Microsoft designs Windows around them and vice versa. So that is a given. But AMD runs great, too, and cheaper. And that 4-pin push-on fan always gives me heartburn. OK, it's not an Intel fan but they make the market, why can't they insist on something less clumsy?

Gigabyte G41M-ES2L Motherboard Bought this in bundle with Intel Dual Core. Never had so many blue screens, IE8 errors, loss of network and internet. Just generally a piece of unstable junk. I replaced with another board and now system is flawless

Gigabyte G41M-ES2L Motherboard Onboard graphics is awesome; but I'm using a video card. PCI-E slot is too close to the PCI slots. Other than that, I'm satisfied with this board.
