It's not the fastest out there but if your just going to use it for emails and web browsing then it's really all you need. Can't beat it for the price.

Intel Pentium Dual Core E5200 CPU BX80571E5200This is a great deal if you just need a PC to browse the internet or do word processing. I use it in a Linux machine and it runs great. Couldn't rate it any higher because it is an inexpensive Pentium Dual Core and can not do a lot (it can't run Mac OS X) but for basic functionality nothing more is needed. The fan/heatsink is easy to install and quiet as well at stock speeds.

Intel Pentium Dual Core E5200 CPU BX80571E5200put this processer in a biostar Tpower 145 motherboard. runs great quick under load no real problems with chip. did not use the fan that was included due to past issues with push in fan lugs becoming loose. instead used a ZEROTHERM CPU COOLER CF800 and have no issue with heating. processor handles loads well and takes good to overclocking, not bad for a cheap chip.

Just a note: this is NOT a 64bit processor. This is still a 32bit processor. Vista x64 and Windows 7 x64 do not install on this CPU.

My old computer was very slow and it started to get unexplained BSOD errors, so my husband priced a new system for me, starting with the CPU. My entire system is new and improved, but what is most noticeable about my system is how fast it has become. Now I can save my work files on my computer without worrying about error reports popping up at random times, closing my programs before I can save them. I did not expect to get something so fast, visually appealing, and reliable for the little money we paid for it, but I must say...
