Gigabyte Radeon R9 280 OC 1072MHZ 3GB 6.0GHZ GDDR5 DVI HDMI 2XMINIDP PCI-E Video Card
Cons:-only 1 dvi slot (2 display port which i don't need)-fans get very loud under load-card is too long for my mid-size antec case-MIR

Pros:-powerful for price compared to Nvidia-good buy for budget build (~$700 PC)-3GB RAM
Comment:
I paired this with an fx6300, asus m5a97, 8GB GSkill RAM, 600w evga. card runs metro last light on very high settings l 1080P no problem, except the fans get very loud on the gpu. runs dual monitors no problem when gaming+surfing the net at the same time. when i turn the fan speed down manually the card heats up quickly, i think the heatsink isn't as good as it could be.card didn't fit in my case, had to remove drive bays. MIR sucks in general. card dropped in price the day after i ordered it, submitted email, took a week to get response to my question about price protection. they asked me to call in. i was told ncix doesn't offer price protection because their system does not allow for it, but I can return the card and buy it again (what a huge waste of time this would be for me). I also don't live in vancouver so i would have to pay for shipping. i told the CSR that most companies now offer price protection for 30 days and asked him to give my feedback to his manager. i will have to reconsider buying from ncix next time because other companies, even in BC, offer price protection and price matching, and maybe better customer service. 4 stars to the card, 2 for overall customer service+outdated ncix policy.

Great card, just make sure your case is large enough to accommodate it. fantastic performance vs/ price ratio when PM'ed to about $200.

Gigabyte Radeon R9 280 OC 1072MHZ 3GB 6.0GHZ GDDR5 DVI HDMI 2XMINIDP PCI-E Video Card
Cons:Came DOA or so I assume. Had everything correct, however fans wouldn't spin up. Contacted CS and after a long wait was finally able to talk to someone. Guy was really nice and appreciated the customer servece. RMA issued within minutes. Waiting on a new one to arrive.

Pros:None yet. DOA. Amazing customer Service though! Best experience I've had in a long time.
Comment:
All-in-all a good product from what I hear. Can't wait until new one arrives. Will deffinitely change my review once it comes in. Again as I said earlier, besides the wait, Customer service experience was excellent. Give 3 stars only because of CS.

Gigabyte Radeon R9 280 OC 1072MHZ 3GB 6.0GHZ GDDR5 DVI HDMI 2XMINIDP PCI-E Video Card
Cons:- cooler is about .5-1 inch longer then the pcb and I ended up having to remove my hdd bay so it would fit (not really a con, but something to note)-price (see below)

Pros:-runs everything i play at max settings -runs cool and quite for most games I play
Comment:
-i haven't build a personal computer for a while but this card blew me away and is a steal if you get it on sale.- in regards to the price, if you see this card on sale (well likely anything that is on sale) and ncix says it will adjust the price after you order it (indicated on the sale offer online), they will not adjust it and will charge you full price and not notify you, then hide behind their terms of service in regards to pricing. This card has been on sale for the past 2 months straight (or close to it) for $220 to $250 and is still on sale today for $240(or at least that is what it says online) yet, I am told they can not help me because of "volatile pricing", even when the card has never been advertised as the full price of $299.99. I even asked them to charge the price that was offered when my savings offer expired with no luck. I ended up pay $80 more then i wanted, and could have bought a better card for $20 less. I was told they would correct this over the phone, but nothing has been done in 1.5 weeks (at least the phone call gave me hope then the online message service) 5 stars for this card. 0 stars for customer service and a policy that makes no sense when card was never full price for over 2 months now, and not notifying me that they would not honor the price they advertised. Will buy this card again, just not from ncix.

Gigabyte Radeon R9 280 OC 1072MHZ 3GB 6.0GHZ GDDR5 DVI HDMI 2XMINIDP PCI-E Video Card
Cons:DO NOT UNDER ESTIMATE THE SIZE OF THIS CARD, IT IS HUGE YET IT STILL FITS IN A TINY SMALL CASE ON A TINY MICRO ATX MOTHERBOARD!!! IF YOU KNOW YOU CAN FIT IT THEN BUY IT, IF YOU ARE NOT SURE BUY A NEW CASE OR BUY AN OLDER GFX!

Pros:Card is fast, cold, and super amazing! No issues look at my summery for details!
Comment:
Card works like a charm, no issues, no problems. Its speeds are astonishing and it has low temperatures all the time EVEN WHEN OVER CLOCKED!!!! My PC case is a small old rusty case yet the card still just barley fits and i'm very glad that my shipping was fast less then 5 days which is fantastic!

Gigabyte Radeon R9 280 OC 1072MHZ 3GB 6.0GHZ GDDR5 DVI HDMI 2XMINIDP PCI-E Video Card
Cons:-maybe not the best value for money anymore

Pros:-great card, same as 7950-overclocks like crazy
Comment:
I've owned the 7950 variant from Gigabyte, no problems, no artifacts, awesome cooling, relatively quiet. Takes anything at Full HD for now! I would recommend it for gaming on a budget, combined with an i5 or fx-8350.

Gigabyte Radeon R9 280 OC 1072MHZ 3GB 6.0GHZ GDDR5 DVI HDMI 2XMINIDP PCI-E Video Card
Cons:Heavy, and somewhat sags in case4myrebate is asinine when it comes to rebates

Pros:No cooling issuesPlays every game on maximum settings with at least 60fps
Comment:
Bought this a few months back, and I'm quite impressed with the quality. There are no bugs with its software/drivers, it runs under 60C at high load, and it offers great performance. A small problem with the card is that it somewhat sags, which was partially fixed by ziptying the other end to my hdd cage. A big problem with the MIR handler, 4myrebate, is that they rejected the rebate because all receipts and invoices with order numbers and addresses weren't enough- they claimed that the shipping packing slip was also required, despite the instructions visibly stating invoice OR packing slip. Lost $20 from it, would have dished out an extra $10 for an r9 280x if I knew they'd be jerks about it.

Gigabyte Radeon R9 280 OC 1072MHZ 3GB 6.0GHZ GDDR5 DVI HDMI 2XMINIDP PCI-E Video Card
Cons:Fans can be loud, but that's only when the system is under load

Pros:Runs most games at max settings (1080p)Low power consumption compared to previous cardsPerforms better than a GTX 760 at similar price pointFit in the bitfenix prodigy case with about 1-2 inches to clear
Comment:
Previous $200 graphics card was a 7870. This is essentially a re-badged/overclocked 7950 for the same price with bonus games. Awesome!

Gigabyte Radeon R9 280 OC 1072MHZ 3GB 6.0GHZ GDDR5 DVI HDMI 2XMINIDP PCI-E Video Card
Cons:An inch too big for my case.

Pros:Best 280 for price, Cool, Reliable Manufacture.
Comment:
I purchased this card to go with a budget gaming PC and this card fit right into it. It performed better than the 760 and was cheaper. The only issued I had with it was the fact that I couldn't fit it in the case because of the piece of plastic hanging off the PCB. I had to cut off that extra piece of plastic on the card to get it to fit. Hopefully this doesn't void the warranty but after I cut that little piece off it fit in perfectly. Another issue I had was that it wouldn't run in the PCIe 3.0 16x slot on the motherboard. I tried testing a spare GTX 660 ti that I had lying around to make sure the Motherboard wasn't defective and I was able to post fine with it. After all this confusion I moved the 280 down to the PCIe 3.0 4x lane and the card worked? No idea what was wrong here but this was the only lane I got it to work. The motherboard was a Gigabyte H97 D3H ATX board so I'm not sure why it wouldn't work with Gigabyte's own GPU. Anyway aside from this weird issue the Card performs as expected in games.

Cons:Heavy card, needs a strong motherboard. Not overly pretty to look at.

Pros:Great performance. Great price. Would purchase again.

So far so good! No issues and it is quiet. It's hard to even tell that my computer is turned on when idling. When gaming it gets a little louder but still very quiet compared to my old HD 4890.Playing Skyrim on Ultra High settings at 1920 x 1080 resolution with zero problem.
