Cons:-I had to wait a week for the unit to be shipped, due to out of stock. But BONUS: I ended up with the rev 1.1 board.-I couldn't get the Q-Flash utility to recognize my thumb drive. The fbios utility had no issues though, so I was able to install the F8 update with no issues.
Pros:It's feature-for-feature identical with the more costly Z87X-UD4H with one exception; the power distribution is 8 phases vs. 16 on the 4H. This would only become an issue for the small number of people who would be doing extreme overclocking, since the Haswell chips have moved some of the voltage regulation load onto chip.The board has been incredibly stable. With my first generation Nehalem/(H55 chipset) I would get occasional screen freezes and the OS crashing a couple of times a week. This board is problem free. Comment:
Purchased just after Boxing week sale, with a $30 rebate my end cost was $115. Very nice to be using an enthusiast board for the price of a mainstream product. To be fair I can't be said to have properly put it through its paces, because I'm still using integrated graphics (so I can't be sure that the PCIE slots even work.) Also my current CPU doesn't support overclocking, so I'm not sure how well those features work. |

Got it for 85$ during boxing week.Cant say much for that price.Heavy as hell, very well build.However, DOES NOT WORK when u have 4 sticks of ram.Personaly,i dont care since i only have 2x4gb. But when i did try to use my old 4x2 ddr3 set, the pc would blue scree.Other than that. bios is horribley blue. |

I bought this board on sale for $114 with a $30MIR making this board too good to pass up for the price. It has a great lay-out overall for USB2/3 headers, PWM fan headers (with 2 CPU fan headers!), with the enthusiast in mind. Some features like hardware power and reset buttons have become standard but things like the dual BIOS and voltage measuring leads are great for the price segment. Installation was easy and the board feels very solid. The colour scheme is muted which I prefer and the blue matches what I purchased to go along with it. So far it's rock solid on stock settings but I'll get into the BIOS later and see what I can do. The boot-up is very different from my previous ASUS boards and I find that my SSD loads Windows before the board turns on it's USB ports so I have to wait to type in my password. Booting from external media is also strange to me as the UEFI BIOS takes some getting used to.My one current complaint is that NCIX is still shipping the REV 1.0 models and not 1.1 resulting in a board that uses C1 stepping. This can affect low-power states and lead to problems with things like external hard drives, from what I've read. I haven't had a problem yet, but that doesn't mean that I won't.Recommended when on sale. |

Works great so far. Haven't run into any issues. All the ports are nicely placed. Easy to gain access to when you need too. The HS's built onto it don't get in the way of installing the cpu, hs/fan, ram or video card which is nice. |

Had this motherboard for quite a while and it was my first Gigabyte mobo I ever owned and probably the last. It have a lot of stability and compatibility issues, notably BSODs. After messing with the motherboard for quite a time, it turns out the issues I had was with the 4 sticks of RAM and it a known issue that Gigabyte still haven't acknowledged. After 4 months of hoping a BIOS update fix, I went ahead and bought 2 sticks or RAM to replace my 4 sticks. Immediately the problem went away and running a stable system for 3 weeks. I also experienced other issues like poor USB support and stability. A lot of my USB devices created BSODs issues and keyboard wouldn't even respond on startup, it almost impossible to get into bios unless you have the old fashion serial keyboard. I would rate 2 stars but I don't want to waste time to look for my purchase ID. |

Other than the App center being a bit buggy everything else is rock solid idle temps i 23c Under load tips around 67 is sometimes breaks 70 with an H100 happy first Gigabyte board overall not bad good OC (told I got lucky with my 4770k) |

Cons:Onboard wireless would have been hella cool, but thats not really a con. There aren't really any flaws with this mobo that I can think of.
Pros:Well featured, looks slick, has an lcd display that displays codes so you know whats up. Lots of fan connectors, tons of usb 3.0. 5 year warranty, sli/crossfire. Dual BIOS, easy overclocking. Comment:

Great board and value, especially when on sale. The BIOS interface was great, and while I haven't done any serious overclocking, for simple navigation and settings, the BIOS has been fantastic. Overall good experience so far, seems quite stable.
