It Is a wonderful looking monitor, aside from a few flaws, the image looks good and It functions nicely for gaming too. The colors are incredibly clear, I moved from a TN panel and it is a big improvement. My 24" Samsung 245BW Died along with my Rig and till i can replace it myself, this is a Wonderful substitute. I am organizing to give this to my parents as a Christmas gift along with a fundamental pc(total with monitor is under 踰) I do lots of photoshop perform and it gets the job carried out fine. My primary difficulty with this monitor is the bottom portion of the plastic frame around exactly where it says is CONSIDERABLY BENT! The bottom appropriate corner has a ridiculous amount of light bleeding by means of, I believe this has something to do with the frame being bent. I thought it was normal LCD behavior till I saw the black levels on the bottom left corner were constant with the rest of the screen. I bought this largely to replace my HORRIBLE laptop screen when I'm utilizing it at my desk because my Pc decided to kill itself. I would advocate this monitor to Everyone seeking for a great, affordable screen. This has as great of a picture as the Asus LED screens with their10,000,000Ʌ contrast ratio. I would get this monitor once more! the true way to tell how great they appear is checking their color gamut. This has an NTSC rating of ㆃ%, normal on practically all monitors. It is too negative that I got a defective monitor due to the fact I Genuinely like it. I don't assume sufficient is wrong with it to bother sending it back so I will cut my losses and wait till I can choose up my Dell Ultrasharp in December.

Straightforward to assemble, plug and playCompact, good hunting, sharp picturesPower on/off and adjustment buttons/menu controls on the side of the unit where they are visible A single stuck pixel. Stand not adjustable. A good utility monitor for everyday use. I actually like the side place of the menu controls where they are easy to see and uncover. The cost was proper without having fussing with rebates, and Newegg's prompt delivery has thoroughly spoiled me.

Greater than no monitor at all. Nice cables and packaging. Screen is blurry and totally washed out. Colors appear terrible. Adjustments don't aid. Tried it on multiple computers and with unique cards. The worst monitor I ever owned, I just hope they take it back, horrible monitor gives you a headache just searching at it. I couldn't even give it to a low income senior for any value! I can't fully grasp why folks rave about this monitor, possibly it was the value.

Great cost, bright colors, functions properly and no DOAs. If you are shopping for it because it has speakers built in, don't. The speakers are not incredibly great. But then, I have noticed quite few built-in speakers that had been. If you want very good sound, drop a couple of bucks and acquire some actual ones. Bought 3 of these for some builds I did for a modest neighborhood organization. They necessary to maintain the cost down and I decided to give these monitors a shot. I am very glad I did. They appear superior and perform excellent. No dead pixels, good colors and clarity - 3 for three, no difficulties. I don't know how well they would perform for gamers as I haven't utilized them for that, but enterprise applications and watching normal videos, they are outstanding. Receiving them with totally free shipping didn't hurt either. I very advocate.

quite very good image quality for the value, solid construction It isn't a super high res LED LCD with all the newest inputs, but I knew that going in. I purchased this for my daughter. I decided to be mean and hook it up to my technique so I could tell her that I was going to preserve it for myself. I was shocked when I fired it up and compared the image top quality side-by-side with my 24" Asus...the only differences had been the size and resolution. This cheap little Hanns G looks just as superior as my "high finish" Asus! Needless to say, my daughter loves it.

Ordered this for my younger brothers machine. He didnt want a large fancy monitor, just one thing basic and this is it, good cost great image top quality. And I positively loved the side buttons, practically kept it for myself, and gave my brother my 20 inch lol if it had been higher resolution I would have. Not truly a con, but it coulda had a greater resolution, but the res it has isnt negative, fairly decent actually. Woulda liked to have seen a DVI input as well but not a big deal. If your into high finish gaming or HD video, this isnt for you-dont anticipate it to be, but for light gaming and almost everything else this monitor is a good deal for the money.

The cost is excellent, and the monitor works fairly effectively We have 7 of this size, and 1 of the 22 inch versions. All of them have a dead pixel in the same spot that shows up on a pick couple of colors (specifically black and blue). If the monitors had been even โ.00 far more high priced I would have demanded a full refund and filed a complaint, but honestly I expected problems of this nature given. I was a small annoyed although when the speakers on my monitor died inside the 1st week. I have spares so I'm not going to complain, but if anything else goes wrong Newegg is going to hear it initially so everyone is fairly warned. I wouldn't advise this monitor unless you're operating with a restricted spending budget, like I was.

Screen looks good. Has built-in speakers. Dirt cheap. Speakers are not very loud. Only 1440x900 resolution max. No DVI input. If you will need a monitor on the cheap, get this. If you can afford a few added dollars though, get an Asus VH222H (DVI support and full 1080p).

This is my second Hanns-G display, and I purchased it considering that I couldn't discover the HW191D, but this one lines up perfectly, and for the price, it cant be beat. The screen excellent is incredibly nice and bright - it's brighter than the 191D it sits subsequent to, and I've owned 17 and 19" CRTs that don't match up to the brightness of this display. Setup was extremely uncomplicated. No DVI output indicates you'll have to get or hunt for an adapter if you have a large-dual DVI card like I do. A bit of a pain, but no actual biggie. Also lack of manual controls for the display make it a bit of a hassle to adjust the monitor. I figured out that soon after installing the monitor that the NVIDIA manage panel didn't install. I had to remove the driver and reinstall it in order to get this display to work. Again, not a actual difficulty but I'm glad I caught that. I plan to get a dual-monitor stand shortly.

I have had the version with the HDMI input for two years. It has excellent color, and it plays properly with Windows 7, Ubuntu Linux Desktop, Ubuntu Linux Server, Windows 2003 Server and Windows 2008 R2 Server. I have all running below Virtual Box with no troubles. This model has no HDMI input. I really bought this model so I could have a dual display environment. I didn't genuinely need to have the HDMI anyway.

Speakers have poor excellent, only VGA, and it has a warm up period which is ridiculous for a monitor this small. For 80 or so bucks its a fantastic purchase. I do wish it had each a VGA and HDMI input

Quite very good quality of image for the price. The monitor stand is fragile and the manufacturing materials appear to be of poor good quality. The built-in speakers generate an horrible sound. It's been about 8 months due to the fact I received this monitor. To date, I saw no troubles.

Okay all factors aside the monitor for the cost was great the size I went from a 16 (slandered) to a 19 wide screen. I'm a graphic artist so my view on this will be mostly on the respective issues I had. Not working with the speakers built in runs fairly cool can't feel considerably heat to the touch for a CCFL it definitely runs fairly cool but mind you I don't watch movies on it so it's almost certainly under preforming what it can do. The monitor is vibrant but the brightness is truly a bit too bright I personally sell LCD Television's and LED Television's as my job on leading of my freelance graphic arts. although I can't genuinely say it's not a very good upgrade from my CRT 16". The Contrast ratio on this monitor is a bit to be desired the X-Contrast mode is a must use if you want any non-washed out colors. To say just because it's under 150 is a excuse for this I feel is poor. The color is a bit tough on my eyes at very first and not being able to adjust the lighting even at the lowest level is still a bit of an eye strain. Had to go for the Cool mode to tone it down a but but that makes every thing have a slight blue hue to it. I appear at this I can actually spot the quarks in the high quality now that further aside I've also used a 20" monitor that usually runs about 150 and I can say that the excellent of that one is a great deal greater then this so to get what you pay for doesn't appear really perfect here. Beyond my cons here I just want to say I'm a vary objective individual I'm used to starring at high end Television's like the 1's I sell the new Sharps. I guess realistically it's not bad although but if you can manage it go for a greater one.
