I've been looking for long for a Low Profile modem and finally this one fits. The speed are fast and it works on my XP tower right out of the box. I have to say that after a long seach, Hiro's modem worth the most, highly recommended. |

I replaced a Gateway 56K fax modem with this one the Gateway hooked up at 51K every time this one only 44k . I was disappointed to say the least. I have since tried 2 US robotics modems from Wally world, one was DOA the other lasted 1 month. I did get my money back though. I'm going to try another USRobotics from Tiger and hope for the best. |
my buddy bought an old office machine off the county and it was set for network only, no dial up. He can't get high speed inet where he's at and needed a standard old dial up modem. this was inexpensive, installed easily, works great, can't complain even if I wanted to.
