Keep an extra one around! Great value!
Comment:
I have a 1366 motherboard going bad, just out of warranty. Integrated parts failing (Ethernet, sound, Pcie slot, new drivers not working, thought was going to have to replace $250 motherboard. Was able to get all working except Ethernet(not found in system, even though bios says it's there). Bought this for $20 and works great. I bought an extra one just in case another need arises on another pc. Can't beat the value on 300Mbps!

A caveman could do it!
Comment:
This was purchased for an Acer nettop with Windows XP, SP3. These units ship without an optical drive or WIFI adapter. I was able to download the latest driver from another computer to a flash drive. The driver installed easily and I was on line in less than 10 min. I am unable to verify speed claims, because my provider only allows 11meg connection speed, but I have had no drop outs or problems at all. This adapter does exactly what it was designed to do and it does it well. The install CD that came with the unit is still in it's envelope. My requirement was for an adapter that allowed access to the internet and this unit does that with no drama or problems.

Best wireless connection I have ever had
Comment:
This is a great plug and play antenna. I have had dlink internal antennas in the past, but this USB based antenna gives me very good to excellent reception every time. Prior to that it was low to very low. Worth every penny.

Works Great on Win 7
Comment:
It works great on win 7, you need to download the driver from the hiroinc website. I tried to post a link for the driver but was not able to.I like the smaller size of this adapter.

Product does the job
Comment:
This product works well. The only problem I have is the charge for shipping. The item could only have weighed 6 or 7 ounces but shipping to Hawaii was over $30.00 I had it shipped to my daughter in CA and forwarded to me. USPS Priorty Mail would have cost about $8.00 where do you getb your rates?

Great item !
Comment:
This little adapter works great and is a good price too! Just be sure your wireless N router is set to transmit at 20 40Mhz not just 20 or else it will only connect at 72Mbps.

It will do But
Comment:
Box and instructions say it works on 98SE. Installer says 98SE is unsupported operating system. Very poor connection speed 40 to 60Mbs connected to a N type router with line of sight. No obstructions. 108Mbs at 30 ft. Moved computer all over. No. change. Very easy to install. Which is good as there is virtually no tech support. For most of my purposes it will do. But I wouldn't buy one again.

Good deal but check OS first
Comment:
Worked out of the box for win XP and included driver CD however I needed to download new drivers for it to work on win 7 (64 bit ultimate). Has been running well from my basement with download speeds similar to those of my direct wired connection on the second floor. 2 others are working well on XP and 98.

It works good
Comment:
It works with our Belkin wireless router N150 at 150 Mb but not 300. The signal strength is great. I think that with the Internet speed the problem is with Comcast not in the WLAN Adapter. Good Value.

It works. But only get 65mbps not the 300mbps. But the signal strength is great. Has no problems with web surfing. It's small. Good Value.

One of the best USB wireless I have ever used
Comment:
I have used quite a few of these things, to varying results. This one resulted in faster Internet and better distance abilities. I plugged it in to an old desktop of mine and instantly got amazing connection and a solid connection too. I bought it for an old laptop though, and did not expect the same results. However, I could carry that laptop throughout the entire house and even outside (yes, I tried it) and got outstanding signal strength and connection. As USB wireless goes, this is one of the best ones I have used for this kind of money. Plus, it is small, so you are not catching it on everything that passes by! Good product!

Insufficient Software Support
Comment:
I tried to use this with a Verizon Mi-Fi device. Loaded software and installed the Network Adapter. The unit could see the Mi-Fi signal but would not connect. The user manual is one sheet and insufficient to describe the included software. Called the manufacturer's tech support and was not able to resolve issue. I am returning the product on my dime. So good initial price, but terrible value.

Good for the $$$
Comment:
I bought it on sale. The adapter sees neighbors wireless setups and connects, sees my wireless router, but will not connect to internet. I am sure it is the DLink DIR-165 router that has problems.

Love this thing
Comment:
Only using to G router, but connectivity, range and speen blows away the PCMCIA card that is from the same manufacturer as the router. I can see a lot more neighbors wireless setups than I ever could before.
