I've bought over fifty ࿒) of these. Solid power for daily office tasks. Included heatsink/fan is adequate for what it requirements to do. None, really. The power of the spending budget CPU is so much far better than it applied to be. Intel nearly needs to replace the "Celeron" brand with a thing else to seriously speak the difference to the masses. Don't hesitate. I've bought the lower-end Pentium dual-cores and I can't tell a distinction for workplace work. My shoppers can't either from the distinct installs I've had.

runs cool, low power usage, low-cost value. none this is basicly a core 2 duo, but with much less cache. i use this on my media pc and could not be happier. my motherboard has the capacity to downclock this baby as well. idles at 1.2 ghz when at low use.solid product

Built a added economy computer system for 赝. This CPU is just as fast as my P4 Extreme. Employed with Biostar G41, 4GB memory and 500GB harddrive. Runs as a surveillance setup and works without having any problems. Cool operating. Installed uncomplicated. None.

This chip seriously surprised me straight out of box. It comes with a pretty tiny heatsink/fan but doesn't will need anything more. Idles at about 45 for me whilst doing fundamental processes. As far as the negative celeron stigmatism, it has come to an finish. Employed this in a client's low end make, (he didn't want to shell out an additional 30 bucks for a core 2) and it's totally impressed me. Gets a 6.1 on the WEI, stays cool, very good stuff intel, very good stuff. The heastsink/fan is soooooo cute.... practically makes you want to hug a bunny. Gogo intel!

The stigmata attached to the celerons of old no longer applies; I've had to correct far more than one particular buddy about it. These are literally fully fledged Wolfdales, full with EIST, x64, SSE 1, two, 3, 3S, and VT-x.I initially got it to replace an additional system with a Celeron 430 that lacks VT-x. That was a small disappointing. So far, this processor tends to make a terrific virtualization platform for 1 or two servers thanks to its relatively quickly speed, VT-x support, and 64-bit nature (essential for Hyper-V if you go that route). The default heatsink/cooler is a bit too smaller IMO. It's just close to the TDP and leaves you small headroom to OC.Luckily, I have a ton of the bigger LGA775 stock heatsinks from other systems that I never ever used, so I just went with a single of those. Idle temperature seldom tops 100 degrees F ࿁ C). Celeron doesn't mean laughably negative anymore. In this case, it indicates an awesome value if you're hunting for a thing basic, low cost, and cool but don't want in-order execution a-la Atom.

I utilised to generally have those old school single-core celerons with 512kb cache and it usually created me feel celeron was super entry level.but this... they have accomplished properly, its a friggin dual core celeron with a meg of cache for half a hundred! unbelievable pricing. these are excellent for regular enterprise computers. i took this for a spin in some gaming pulled about 30fps in wow, and steady 60 in css! wolfdale dualcore celeron with 1meg cache for โ???whats not to like! :Dthough 775 socket becoming rapidly outdated... If your searching for some thing standard and dont have cash to drop on a cpu... get this! its significantly greater then what you assume of the old celeron name!

installed without a hitch, heat sink is puny but does its job well. massive enhance in energy from a family members old 2.0g p4. Purchased Monday night, received Tuesday Morning! Go New Egg Shipping!!! It was recognized as a Intel Pentium three Xeon? Would buy once more for future spending budget builds!

Stock thermal paste pre-applied. Auto-downclocking for energy savings, even with a mild overclock. Runs nice and cool, even on stock heat sink when bumped from 2.5 up to 2.8ghz. Idles at 30-33c, full load among 50-59c so appropriate within specs, assuming you're rocking two 120mm fans mounted on the front and back of your case for optimum airflow. Undoubtedly not a speed demon of a chip, but far snapper when coupled with a discreet gpu than the old 2.0ghz neos mobile chip I was rocking. Handles something I can throw at it so far with aplomb. I would extremely suggest this chip as a fine upgrade for those of you rocking an older lga775 mobo, but want to upgrade off your p4. Stock heatsink appears deceptively small, though I come across it quite quiet and rather successful if you're not going to strain issues to a lot. Perfect size for a microatx mid tower or straight matx case. I was also not delighted in the fan socket style. It looks inherently weak, even so when you apply a non altogether excessive quantity of force to get it mounted, it seems fairly stable. I wouldn't want to put a giant aftermarket cooler onto punch via mounts then have my case vertical. it's an efficient processor. It's not disgustingly insanely quick like an i7, but it's only ์ish. If you're buying this processor you almost certainly are looking to upgrade an older system, or develop a new htpc/server/mild gaming rig for your parents/roommate/self on the cheap so you know what to anticipate. If you have the scratch, get an i3. If not, you can't definitely go wrong with this chip.

five.9 Windows 7 score. Painless install. Intel demands to perform on such as beefier coolers with their processors. While adequate, the cooler included doesn't inspire considerably confidence. The 4-pushpin install technique is also frustrating. I prefer the AMD lever clip-lock. Socket 775 is obviously on its way out the door, but for those who don't will need an upgrade path, the price/performance can't be beat by an AMD when you factor in the expense of a motherboard.

I got this for my new asus mobo. this was my very first create, decided to go inexpensive for the 1st develop to get the hang of putting it together and setting everything up, etc.. its a genuinely good upgrade from my old p4 2.4ghz. it overclocks genuinely good too. i have the stock heatsink/fan and im at 3ghz atm. i havent observed it go over 40c even when im playing games. idles around 29-31c. definitely nice cpu. none atm.

This is the CPU to get if you want a spending budget create. None. For each build I've carried out on a spending budget, I usually turn to this CPU. My customers want one thing greater than what they have in their 5yr + old machine and even this dinky Celeron will outperform yesteryear's "King of the Hill" CPU.

I bought this CPU a few weeks ago for a mini-itx server. It has really fit the bill. I wanted a cheap server that had decent performance, and this seemed like a much better choice than an atom mobo/cpu combo that would have been much weaker for around the same price.
