Intel Core i7-3930K 3.2GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 2011 Six-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:Price - If you aren't using it to it's full potential.
Pros:Does everything I need it to do whether it's video editing/rendering or gaming everything is smooth! I have it clocked at 4.5Ghz could do more - but for now it's fine. |

Intel Core i7-3930K 3.2GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 2011 Six-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:Buying this CPU means moving up to the X79 platform, which is financially out of reach for many people.
Pros:Amazing performance. Terrific boots to overall system performance. Comment:
If you are thinking about building a new multi-GPU gaming rig or just one of the fastest PCs on the planet without completely breaking the bank, then I think the Core i7-3930K is the best option for you today. |

Intel Core i7-3930K 3.2GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 2011 Six-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:None.
Pros:Overclocks incredibly easily. Great performance. Comment:
This is one of the best processor I've ever had the joy of using. 24/7 OC runs at 4.5 GHz with 1.3V VCore, and never heats above 63 degrees under load. Paired with a Zalman CNPS12X, I've taken it to 4.8, and could easily do more. |

Intel Core i7-3930K 3.2GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 2011 Six-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:- Price

Overall the best processor I have ever owned. I can't believe this processor was this cheap. |

Intel Core i7-3930K 3.2GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 2011 Six-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:price
Pros:6 cores/12 threadscrazy OC potentialblazing fast Comment:
Finally got a C2 stepping after having waited for months. This cpu handles anything I throw at it. It is the best "bang for the buck" 6core intel cpu. Get this instead of the 3960x, unless a black box and extra 3mb of cache are worth 400$ more to you. |

Intel Core i7-3930K 3.2GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 2011 Six-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:None
Pros:Extremely fastlow temperature on h100easy overclockingextremely futureproof Comment:
picked it up this monday and it's the C2. NCIX always have the latest and greatest. I have been using AMD for years. had 3 machines, 4200+, 5000+, 9950BE. i have done many research and decided to make the move to Intel. i knew it would be the right decision. when you cheap out on AMD the machine get out dated very fast. if i buy the quad Intel back 3 years ago i would be good still. the 9950BE is a fantastic processor by all means. served me well and still runs like new. my mom will be using that computer. overall the intel pricing cost more but then the value holds very well. what else to say? this cpu is the latest and second greatest next to 3960k. i got it to 4.7ghz but settled for 4.5ghz at 55 degrees on h100. 13pt on cinebench compared to 3pt for the 9950. process raw from my 1ds mark iii to full size jpeg at 1.5 seconds each and only use 50% cpu. strongly recommended, buy this now and it will last you 5+ years easily. because as we know the hardware develope faster than software. besides all lga2011 will support 22nm who knows maybe 10nm after that. it's a huge cpu so i doubt they will make it bigger. i pair this with RIVE and snow edition and this is a beautiful machine comes out of it.definitely one of the best decision i ever made buying this. |

Intel Core i7-3930K 3.2GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 2011 Six-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:Nothin'
Pros:Great for rendering and folding Comment:
I have this in an Asus Rampage IV extreme and it is dead easy to get it to 4.7Ghz with overclocking. Plus it idles at 1.2GHz, so very easy on the power consumption... not that I would really know since I fold on it when not rendering or gaming (it folds like a beast, especially under Linux). For $650 it is worth every penny in my estimation. Adobe Premiere loves this processor too so if you're doing any projects with this it will complete toute suite... After Effects as well. I definitely recommend it to anyone doing any video production work. |

Intel Core i7-3930K 3.2GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 2011 Six-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:-Though advertised as the return of BCLK tuning, it is basically useless in my experience. -A little hotter then most, but well maintained with Corsair H80.
Pros:-Powerful, really nothing out there that can make it sweat.-At 4.6Ghz it bests a dual xenon configuration in Cine bench R11. Comment:
Bought it for a well deserved update from a C2Q6600. Paired it with a gigabyte X79-UD5, 16g XMP DDR3, 120g SSD and it is speed I don't think I can fully comprehend at this time. The temps are higher then other systems that I have worked with, but I swapped out the fans that came with the H80 and replaced it with 2 Coolmaster fans and hooked it up direct to the PSU. Now I idle at 36c and stress at 70c max h 4.6 ghz !! Over clocking was a breeze once I got the hang of the new socket. Over all loving the new upgrade and can't wait to pump some work into it to see what it can really do. |

Intel Core i7-3930K 3.2GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 2011 Six-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:Expensive, but hey you're getting what you pay for
Pros:Quick responive chip even in stock config Easy to overclock and a lot of potential Comment:
Bought this as an upgrade to my 930. So far couldn't be happier with this. Better performance then the 980/990X and almost half the price. For anyone wanting a gaming rig this isn't the choice to make, but fr anyone doing any video editing as an example this is a beast. Simple to OC and seems the sky is the limit. |

Intel Core i7-3930K 3.2GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 2011 Six-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:none
Pros:Good Clock speeds are easily achieved. Giving everything a separate multiplier makes things much simpler. 4.2GHz without touching the stock voltage. Comment:
been waiting on sandy bridge-e since sandy bridge came out. Worth every penny for a $600 unlocked processor. Mind you I don't overclock so it's not a benefit to me. with socket 1366 you had to pay $1000 to get a unlocked cpu. Finally intel realizes the overclockers market for lower end enthusiast cpu's. |

Intel Core i7-3930K 3.2GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 2011 Six-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:- Heat, but manageable w/ a H100
Pros:- Better than a 990x clock to clock for $450 less- Multithreaded number cruncher- tackle dual Xeon perf when O/C- a good product between dual xeon and mainstream segment Comment:
I decided to buy it for upgrade the phenom II X6, an awesome upgrade.I you only play games and think that a PC is only like a console, this CPU isn't for you, a 2500K or even a 2600K is a better option in this particular case. The produced heat is big but easily manageable with a liquid cooling solution, depending of your overclock. And since IB-E will be also LGA 2011, the platform is future proof as for SB to IB. |

Awesome CPU - If you have extra cash and do need the extra cores this is a great buy!
