Reliable, low cost
Comment:
Intel DG43NB Socket 775 Motherboard I purchased this board as part of a bundle with the Intel Core 2 Due E8400 processor. Assembling the computer was very straghtforward and the system booted up just fine afterwards. The only complaint I would have about this board is there are only two memory slots. If you choose to expand memory capacity in the future (and are already using the two slots), you need to replace them rather than just adding more memory. I opted also for an NVIDIA video card. it installed without any problems. |

Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 Processor BX80571E7500 so for my first computer build i picked this chip, my original choice was the E7400 but for a few bucks more i am within a hare's breath of 3.0 Ghz. the fan this thing comes with is a lot bigger than i was expecting. i would highly recommend it |

Comment:
Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 Processor BX80571E7500 Worth the purchase! Upgraded a 2.13ghz E6600 Intel, gotta say the load times in WoW, Cod WaW and Modern Warfare are so small its laughable. Blows my old CPU out of the water. Cheers! |

Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 Processor BX80571E7500Order arrived quickly. CPU fitted to Board instantly. Great cooler supplied for this CPU. Everything responds with great speed. I use a large range of programmes and find a fast response time compared to my AMD dual core. Totally satisfied. |

Caution
Comment:
Intel DG43NB Socket 775 MotherboardI purchased this board when the Asus one i wanted wasnt availible at the store. I needed a board with 2 video outputs since i couldnt afford a video card after all the other stuff i needed. The Bios POST takes about 40 seconds to 1 minute and you cant disable the ''Intel'' splash. After building my system no matter what I did it would not stay ''off'' on standby or hybernate. It would turn right back on as if i had hit ''reset''. The thing that put me over the edge was that it continusly lost the boot order for the devices and would go to an old hard drive to boot from (i had to do a data transfer from my old drive before i reformated it, when i built the new system i bought a new hard drive to install the OS on for a clean install). After about 48 hours of this I contacted Intel, they said the post time was normal and that it was probably a hardware issue with the boot order and hybernate/stand-by. I ordered the Asus board and returned this one. |

Excellent product
Comment:
Intel DG43NB Socket 775 MotherboardThe product works perfectly fine, and I have no problem at all. In fact, I installed Ubuntu linux instead of MS windows, it performs very well. I'm not sure why some of people have who bought the product were having problems. |

Great CPU, Inferior Fan
Comment:
Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 Processor BX80571E7500CPU came 2 days before scheduled delivery. Sweet! Replaced a Dual Core Pentium with this baby and what a difference. If you are getting this for video or game playing, suggest you replace the fan immediately. This thing jumped up to 65c after about 15 minutes of ''Left For Dead''. Recommend a Thermalake fan p/n: CL-P8441 (Available from this retailer). After I replaced the fan, the CPU doesn't go past 36c even after 2 hours of heavy game play. |

Wow..Seriously
Comment:
Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 Processor BX80571E7500I really would love to write a great review with butterflies and rainbows showering every where, but I can't. The shipping took forever, once I got it I noticed the slowness of my pc. I was building a low end gaming computer and wanted something a little better, so I call tiger back and see what's up with this thing...come to find out, they shipped me a Pentium 4 processor instead of the core 2 duo...the thing came in the box that said core 2 duo...really....... |

NO RAID CONTROLLER
Comment:
Intel DG43NB Socket 775 MotherboardThis motherboard is great, I've ordered so many great intel boards that I just assumed this one would have an RAID controller on it...it does not. If that's not a concern then it's a great board. |

I/O MCH Heat Sink Runs Hot
Comment:
Intel DG43NB Socket 775 MotherboardSome motherboards come with a 40mm fan and mounting bracket but this one does not. I had to search all over the internet for a: Intel MCH Heat Sink Fan Mounting Bracket and purchase that and a fan separately just to keep the motherboard's MCH cool. The I/O Hub (Memory Controller Hub) gets really hot quickly without a fan. Overall it is a great board but should come with a bracket and fan like other Intel boards do. |

Intel DG43NB Socket 775 MotherboardI'm satisfied with this board, have had no problems. |
Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 Processor BX80571E7500 This thing beats the pants off anything I've had before. I'm not a gamer, so I don't need the really cosmic stuff, but this processor can probably handle just about anything any of my friends want to play on it (as long as the RAM, MB, etc. can keep up also).
