Replaced Atheros AR5B22/AR5BWB222 in Acer V3-772G-9643Atheros Wasn't recognizing audio devices, & driver updates did nothing actually worse with Microsoft bt mouse 5000.all Bluetooth devices working nowMicrosoft BT mouse 5000 (crappy bt mouse but has wheel)Microsoft BT Scupt Comfort(download drivers for better config)Sennheiser Presence UC (even pairs without dongle as HS)(dongle works better has stereo, but nice if dongle forgot)* best bt headset ever and with dongle is stero and, incredible switching between laptop softphone/Skype/youtube etc to using iPhone and back to pc. sku was SY5179482 ncix may have dropped temporarily. sennheiser presence uc. not the consumer ones.Before install be sure to download updated drivers from intelwindows 8.1 recognized device and bt without driver updateswifi driver ( Wireless_17.14.0_e164.exe 104MB )BT driver ( WP-BT_17.1.1409.01_e164.zip 32MB ) for wifi after driver install and connect to ap/routermake sure to turn on mixed mode Network Sharing -> Change Adapter settings -> Right Mouse Status -> wireless propertiesEnable Intel Connection settings (checked) also Mixed Bandin device manager properties -> advanced -> throughput booster enabledwill right review on ac 1750 connections and or 1900 soon.so far extremely happy solved Atheros issues (stock acer v3).hope you get some usefull info here.

I purchased this as an upgrade for my Gateway FX Laptop, in hopes I could add bluetooth, and upgraded AC and dual band. The wifi portion of the card seems to be OK. Note that this device ships with no drivers, no documentation...nothing. You will need to go to Intel's site and download Wireless_17.14.0_s64.exe for Windows 7 64 bit to have the card work correctly. The Bluetooth in Windows 7 does not work, regardless of which driver you install. (many people have reported problems about this, but Intel does not seem to care, and tells you to contact your 'oem manufacturer' when it doesn't work) They have two different drivers available on their site with no indication on what is the proper one to use. I tried both the WP-BT_17.1.1411.01 and the BT-3.1.1311 and neither work. The Bluetooth will activate for about 10 seconds, and will then get a yellow exclamation mark in the device manager saying Code 43 windows stopped device due to problems. I do not know if the card has better success in windows 8, but in the release preview of windows 10, I was able to get both the wifi and bluetooth working, however the devices it the bluetooth was able to connect to was hit and miss. Worked with a Blackberry 10, did not work with a bluetooth keyboard or speaker system.Overall, if you don't care about the bluetooth function in this card, it will probably work ok for you, but if that is critical and you use windows 7, you may want to pass on this and get something else.
