Excellent Heatsink if your not looking to overclock. The temperature remains low and i can't hear anything from it. I wish it has a little more power though overall 5 from me |

it was confusing to install @ the beggining (w/o instructions). however the fan is very quiet and does not rattle, as long as it was installed correctly. |

Very difficult to install even more to re-install. It does the job well and this one is very quiet an smooth at any speed. Overall, not up to Intel quality! |

It comes with my CPU and it is very loud at its full speed, and vibrate as well. When I were watching TV, I had to turn my computer off. |

Now I liked this cpu fan, ok i got it with my cpu, and ok if i was going to spend $30 on a fan it wouldnt be this one. As far as installation goes, personally I would rather install this fan than any fan for an AMD chip anyday. Mine is installed correctly and does its job just fine, cool and quiet. |

On the negative side this CPU fan is a real hassle to install because of the flimsy plastic legs and you're uncertain if they're locked in place or not. It's hard to believe that this is a stock Intel fan for the LGA775 processor because their stock fan for the socket 478 CPU was terrific in every way. On the plus side, it's not as noisy as I expected, and it does an excellent job at cooling. The 3.6 GHz processor at idle is at 27 C and even during extreme gaming never exceeds 39 C. Of course my Samurai case is extremely well designed for airflow which also contributes to this fact. |

Plastic legs will bend easily, making re-installation a hassle. This guy makes a fair bit of noise at full RPMs. For $30, you can get better fans with higher quality mounting kits. |

I had this come stock with my CPU and it was very loud absolutely intolerable but I realized I had my exhaust fan mounted backwards and I soon fixed the problem. The CPU fan was much quieter and was tolerable even at a full load playing Doom 3 for those how had problems with this CPU fan I suggest checking your exhaust fans and make sure they are properly mounted.I only give a 4 since it is stock |

Install was annoying. It does its job, but at higher speeds its almost 3 times louder then my case fans. I wouldn't recommend this fan. |

Maybe it was just the one I got but, this fan vibrates badly. It is extremely loud when the processor starts getting hot. Also the mounting system is kinda cheesy. |

A little bit confusing to install. If you don't install it just right, it'll vibrate horribly and might even cause some damage to the processor. Installation requires pushing down kinda hard on the prongs. So hard I was kinda scared I might damage the board. Once I got in installed, it worked smoothly and compleatly quite. I recomend using this with any Intel 775 socket Processor and board. They're all designed to function together anyway.
