I used debian linux with the NVIDIA kernel along with the driver provided on the NVIDIA website and I now have stunning three dimensional simulations with virtually no latency.

This card works well, but the heat sink takes blocks your ability to use the PCI slot above and below this card. It also adds a good bit of heat to the inside of your case.

The price caught my eye, the features made the sale. Imagine my disappointment when it kept crashing my computer - SCREEN FREEZE! After considerable research, I upgraded my power supply (300W to 600W). Now, it works like it promised. Make sure you've got the power!!

Great card -- silent -- Huge heatsink overhangs the adjacent slots. This is either not a problem at all or a huge problem, depending on your system requirements. I am always trying to make high-performance systems very very quiet so this is great. I love it.

The current NVDIA video card expired and needed replacement. After a 10 minute install,I was back in action, I already had the latest driver downloaded as I was blaming the old card's actions as a software problem. This product fit the bill and I will buy again if required.

installed easily but worked poorly, all video was blurry. shortly thereafter screen went black. computer would no longer boot until board was uninstalled. Company gave me a runaround when trying to get a warranty replacement. sorry I bought this.

I thought this card was defective at first install. My screen remained dark. However, the second time I went into the BIOS and changed the video setting (from on-board video to PCI-E) and all worked fine. I know rebates are not the most popular form of discount but it definitely is not a scam. Manufacturers don't make money by scamming their customers; they make money by selling reliable products at fair prices. Although this card is not powerful enough for serious gamers, it is more than ample for the average user. Buy with confidence and enjoy this great deal (I wish I could buy ten at this price)!

i had picked this up to get the duel screen function. it definately did the trick. if your a heavy gamer this isn't the card for you. but if your like me and want watch movies on one screen while you work on the other, this card is great. for the price it's a steal!!!!

I called their Support and explained the situation before I placed the order. I was told that this product will work once I plug it in. I explained that my computer had a broken video card and nothing was showing on the monitor. I was assured that this PCI express card will fix the problem. The product came with installation CD for driver. It needed to be installed. How can I install the driver when I do not have a display? I am disappointed and I do not recommend to buy this product.

The rebate is a scam. BEWARE You are required to send in the bar code off the box, but the sticker with the barcode clearly states that if it is removed from the box the warranty on the card is void. So do you void your warranty for the sake of a rebate. As for the video card, it works well but I was very disappointed to see that the Windows 7 score was lower than the score given on my onboard video. I purchased this for my Dad cause he wanted dual video outputs and I thought it was a decent deal with the rebate or should I say scam of a rebate. I should have known better and stuck by my preferred choice ATI.

Video cip on PC mother board died and I needed a basic video card to fill it's functionality. This card works great and was easy to install. I am not running graphics intensive applications so didn't see much improvement over what I had.

I bought 2 of these and I like them for what they are. I read the ratings and they are on the money. They are low on Window's 7 rating for 3D applications. But you will have a hard time beating them for a standard PCI video card. It can't be beat for the money and it does what I need it to do.

I purchased this card (along with an LCD monitor) to create a dual monitor system. Acer Aspire Athlon X2 4850e Vista HP 64. As mentioned, the heatsink is large so have plenty of room or an additional fan. The install was easy, and as mentioned previously, I would download the drivers from nVidia first. A recommendation I didn't follow... This is NOT a gaming card but does an excellent job in an office environment. As always, they delivered above and beyond! Excellent service!
