Functions excellent to hook my PS3 up to my laptop monitor (Samsung BW225) at 720p. Begins heavy flickering if I set the PS3 to output at 1080i or 1080p, though that may possibly just be the monitor I can't tell the difference in between 720 and 1080 anyway. Superior for ů.

Low cost Loose cable, thin wire, poor image This cable fits loosely into my HDMI jacks (I've tried a lot more than 1 jack, and other cables don't have this issue in any of them). I have to cautiously prop the cable in the correct spot or the screen goes off, or goes reddish on me. It's not worth the cost to RMA and Ship back to newegg, but I'm going back to a DVI-HDMI adapter with a separate (higher good quality) HDMI cable.

Newegg shipped it to me very fast Did not function. Cable was crammed into the OEM packaging, had pinches in the cable when I took it out of its box. Hooked the DVI end up to my MacBook Pro, the other to my 52” Sharp Aquos, and it said the signal was too weak. I tried it with my other Belkin DVI to HDMI cord, and it got the signal perfectly. The cord in the picture is not the cord you obtain either.Really Bad Get! DON’T GET THIS ITEM! I would RMA this, but it would cost a lot more to ship it back than the cable is worth. I'm just going to cut my losses and obtain a greater cable.

Basic to use, PS3 and Xbox 360 look great on my samsung 22" Not actually a con but like a noob I was unaware that DVI does not carry sound. Luckily the ps3 allows you to split sound audio and video connnectors Exceptional product for cost.

fantastic item, incredible excellent, thick coating wonderful cable haven't had a single green or blue screen due to the fact i got it great resolution and HD images none nonetheless working like the first day and it's been more than a year due to the fact i got it.

Picture is wonderful. I have a 5 year old Sony hdtv, but it didnt have an HDMI port. I plug this baby into my tv's DVI port and connect it to the ps3's HDMI port and the picture is spectacular! Also this is like 50 bucks less expensive than an HDMI cord Unlike hdmi, this doesnt enhance the sound, but who requirements to increase sound? I'll I care about is the picture Excellent for you PS3 and a television with a DVI port
