I purchased the RAM chips for an HP Pavilion dv 4165 cl and upon installation, my system crashed and I was forced to format my hard drive and re-install Windows and all other programs. The system still would not operate correctly and gave numerous 'blue screen' memory errors. Switched back to the original chips and everything works fine. Upon further research with Kingston, it was deteremined that a different part number was needed for this computer.

I bought this ram for my Dell Latitude D600 since it only came with 256MB and it went in perfectly and fired up without any problems love this ram buying another stick of this later on.

I bought this memory for my girlfriends Gateway 3018GZ laptop that only can with 512MB of memory. And now with 1.256GB of memory her computer is running like a new computer. This is definitely a great deal and works great with no problems

This was the best ram my Toshiba Satelite A65 would take. But it is almost like having a new labtop. Very easy to install. Took a matter of minutes and my old laptop was humming along. Thanks TigerDirect. Great products at great prices as always.

I ordered two but one came dead on arrival the other worked great. I have ordered RAM about 5 times now from Tiger Direct and three out of five times there has been one DOA...I dont mind too much...it's a hassle but Tiger Direct is still pretty awesome.

i just finished installing this memory into my gateway mx6421 laptop and it works great. this simple upgrade has significantly improved the performance of my computer. i would definitely recomend this to anyone looking for better performance at a reasonable price.

This memmory is nothing short of amazing. I went from 512 to 1.25 Gigs with its help and now my Gateway notebook can handle almost anything. I play WoW and my lag is a thing of the past, FPS shot way up and even Ironforge loads without a single problem, even with multiple programs running in the background. No compatibility problems, was recognized instantly.

I could not believe how much of a difference the RAM made! I am currently getting my MBA on-line, so I do a LOT of multi-tasking. I have a Toshiba with a 2.8 GHZ Intel P4 Hyperthreading processor that had 512mb of RAM. It was pretty easy for me to get it bogged and slowed down. So I bought 1 GB to add in. Now I have 1.5 GB of RAM. A friend and I tried to slow it down one night and opened and ran the following programs: Defragmenter, virus scan (which slows a computer down by itself), AOL, Windows Media Player, I was burning a CD, Internet Explorer, MS Access, Excel, Word and a couple of other things I believe...all at the same time! It did not skip a beat or slow down! Even with all that, I was only using about 700MB! Increasing your RAM is truly worth the money if you are having problems with a slow computer.

Just arrived. Stuck into a Toshiba P30. Works like a dream. Gone from 512mb to 1.5 Gb RAM. Very pleased. I do my video editing on this machine and needed more RAM
