Bought this memory for an old dell(wifes computer). Now she plays her games at speed. She's happy so I'm happy ;o)

I installed 3 gigs. Almost immediately started crashing and blue-screening. Started swapping modules with my old memory. When I pulled the 2nd one and put my old back, problems went away. I've not re-installed it to see if the problem came back. I can live with 2.5 gigs. I can't handle all the crashes!

This worked great in a Asus A8N SLI deluxe running XP. It helped with loading and overall speed issues. It also allowed me to turn off all disk caching, this helped with performance as well.

Purchased this RAM in combo for an IBM S51 after checking with manuf. web site. RAM arrived with computer and I swapped out the std ram and plugged this bad boy in. The BSOD appeared fof the first time when loading Win XP. Tried multiple times, same. Old ram works fine. I've had problems in the past with this manuf, and given the song and dance from Tech Support. Result: I've got a 1 $50 lg Ram stick that won't work, in any machine!!
