Just as advertised. I cut it out of the packaging, opened up my computer, installed it in the memory slots, and closed it back up. Maybe 10 minutes tops. Popped on the computer, I could tell performance improved right away, the boot-up was much quicker than before. I had a 1GB RAM using Vista, installed 2GB more. Much cheaper solution than buying new computer.

I got the exact right memory strip for my computer. However, the stick was bad. I spoke Kingston to verify I had the right product. They did and agreed with my diagnosis that the stick was bad. Kingston offered me the choice of them replacing the stick or having this site do it. I then spoke to them and they promptly replaced the stick. New stick works great! Thanks to all for such great after sale service.

This ram went in the slots properly. I powered up the PC. I checked the system information and the ram read correctly. My PC had 1 gig of ram and I bought 2 more. I now have 3 gig and I have to say that upgrading ram is one of the best investment you can make to your PC.

I have only had this memory for a month but so far there have been no problems. RAM is something you shouldn't be aware of (if you are... it is usually because you don't have enough). This additional RAM really boosted the performance of our slightly dated machine and was well worth the price. Good price and it installed with no problems and runs with no problems.

I bought this module for a slightly older computer. As it turns out, my mobo doesn't support the low profile slim design (even though all other specs were identical). I have no idea why the size of the board would matter, but the manufacturer said it did. So, I stuck it in a new computer bought this year, and POW! works great.

purchased two for pc upgrade and found the system was reading the same as before. called support, board doesnt support high density RAM. not certified it turns out is the key. I asked why doesnt the spec say it is or isnt, well then you would go buy it from a company that shows they only make certified ram.

First time I tried TigerDirect Memory products. Used it to upgrade a SystemMax PC from 1GB to 3GB and it worked 1st time, no issues whatsoever, and system runs like lightning now. Just need to make sure that your existing memory is the same class , like PC4200, PC5300, etc., that you have spare DDR2 slots, and you understand configuration schema. Bottom line - best value, great features, best quality so far,great perfprmance.
