Pros: Works great Great price Arrived in just a couple days Easy install Cons: The description says PC5400 but the product I received was PC5300. This was not a problem for me as my computer needed PC5300, but this could be a problem for someone else. EDITOR'S NOTE: PC5300 AND PC5400 ARE EXACTLY THE SAME! THE EQUATION IS 667 X 8, WHICH IS ACTUALLY 5336. SOME MANUFACTURERS ROUND UP, OTHERS ROUND DOWN. ANY BUZZ YOU'VE HEARD HAT THESE TOTALS REPRESENT DIFFERENT SPECIFICATIONS IS INCORRECT.

I got this for my sons PC. He had 2 gbs and it is capable up to 4. But I got just 1 gb cause later I plan on building him another PC with faster memory. Also he is running a system 32 and most only reconize a little over 3. Next system will be a 64 and go all out on fast memory. But this stick works great and helped speed him up some.

Kingston has always been a staple in the systems I've built - if you can overlook the speed naming (remember AMD people), this ram has performed flawlessly for me - the only mistake I made, was not checking the recommended memory manufacturer's part numbers for my motherboard - the 667 rated sticks are not supported, but have given me no cause for alarm - my system is stable - Now if they can make a Microsoft product like that!!!! - LOL.

Bought to 2 of these to up my system to 4GB...even though there is the 3GB threshold on 32bit systems.....it is still is a no brainer purchase given the brand and price. There are no issues with this RAM.

Got this for a friend I was building a computer for. He was low on money yet needed an extra gigabyte of memory. Unfortunately, he had only 2 slots for ram with one having 512 MB. Kingston is obviously known to make amazingly good quality memory and for 2 1 GB sticks for 30 dollars, you cannot go wrong! Buy these while they last!
