Great stick of ram, bought for $10 at local pc shop. I installed it without a hitch in my sister's pc. She also uses Ubuntu so she doesn't need much ram and didn't have much to spend so this did the trick. Great ram for the money.

Kingston 1GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Desktop Memory
Cons:Only PC2-5300

Pros:Good price and compatibility.
Comment:
If you are worrying the compatibility issues (e.g. you have a brand-name computer which normally does not have the ability to change memory clocking, voltage, etc.), go with this memory. It only needs 1.8V (the DDR2 stardard) therefore should virtually have no problem. The board is very small so it is good for air circulation in the case. And the price was very nice when it was on sale. This is not performance memory, but as long as that isn't an issue, it is a great value (just like its name). It is the perfect memory for basic builds and non-performance machines, and will delivery solid stability.

Cons:None I can see.

Pros:Stable, high quality RAM. A price that cannot be passed up.
Comment:
I have a 2 month old Dell which already had 2 GB of Kingston RAM installed from the factory. I just wanted to max out the memory and get a bit more performance out of the system. The 2 additional GB actually made a noticeable difference. And the RAM was 100% compatible with the existing RAM. Great price and shipping from NCIX makes this a no brainer.

For the price, these RAM sticks can't be beat. I upgraded from a Samsung 512MB on my work PC to 2 1GB Kingston sticks and I couldn't be any more satisfied, the computer runs much quicker of course, and best of all, my wallet isn't empty :)

Pros:value, double-sided, runs in duel-channel with no issues.
Comment:
Bought this RAM on sale for dirt-cheap, am very impressed. I was surprised to find that it is double-sided as most of the cheaper ram isn't. Running constantly (foldingbhome) for a few days solid now with no issues, will buy again.

Pros:-Price-Easy Upgrade
Comment:
I got his RAM to use in my Asrock MB that supports this and my old PC3200 RAM. I picked up 2GBS to replace my 1GB of PC3200. As anyone knows, increasing and replacing RAM is one of the best and easiest upgrades to do. Right away I noticed a different, especially since I am using Vista Ultimate. I would definitely recommend this for budget users, this is a great product for the price.
