This is very good RAM, runs decently cool I guess (isn't THAT terribly hot when I touch it with my finger, I can hold my finger on the RAM and not have it burn me or lead to me discomfort) is really low-cost and just performs for my system! No heat spreader...but I'm just becoming picky here, for the price tag that's expected, I mean show me a RAM stick that's less expensive or the similar cost that HAS a heat spreader. This RAM performs wonderful in my technique, I don't do any overclocking or something like that, but it works good and I will be surely selecting more up in the future! |

Consistent good quality. Under no circumstances had a compatibility issue when running at spec It is value RAM and in all probability not a lot wiggle room in timings and voltage. But haven't tried. I purchased a single stick of this nearly a year prior to this last acquire and they run dual channel fine. It is the exact exact same model, I created certain of that and the good quality is consistent. DDR2 getting too high-priced all the great offers appear to be DDR3 now |

Runs at it`s rated speed and timings, quickly sufficient, fantastic compatability and reliability in my expertise. And I`m talking about numerous speeds of Kingston`s RAM in each DDR and DDR2, not just this specific element number. Haven`t discovered any. Some say it won`t overclock, but I couldn`t care less about any of that. I put two of these in a Hewlett-Packard MSI MS-7225 NashM-GL8E socket AM2 motherboard and they run perfectly in it. They run just as well in a different socket AM2 HP board, an ASUS A8M2N-LA NodusM. Vista x64 offers this RAM the complete 5.9 rating, and the system is quite rapid even with only two gigs of memory. It`s high time to buy two far more gigs, and I`ll almost certainly get some of Kingston`s DDR 400 RAM for a couple of socket 754 builds I`m carrying out. It`s compatible, reliable, and rapid adequate for about anything unless you`re a single of those men and women who have to attempt and impress a bunch of poseurs on some obscure hardware forum. |

Expense - value - dependability None so far When I initially got this stick of RAM I thought Newegg had finally messed up and sent me the incorrect order. It is only 1ǘ inch in height! I guess that is so it will clear all these new super-duper gonzo CPU HSF units on the industry that hang more than the RAM on most MB's. Popped it in and the 'puter took off like it was a new machine. What additional could you want? Guess it could have been delivered by Shauna Ryan? |

Stable and dependable chips. Generally, I would not mix memory brands. No manufacturer supports it. Nevertheless, just for the heck of it, I tried mixing these sticks with two sticks of a unique brand. The other sticks have a voltage of two.1V to further complicate factors. I went for the middle ground, and set the board to give 1.95V to the memory. All 4 sticks, two of these, and two from a different brand, perform flawlessly in dual channel mode together. You might, or could not, achieve comparable outcomes. It's a testament to how stable high quality memory is that the Kings and their Corsair fleet were able to function so nicely together. None so far. Will update if I discover any. Memory is so low cost now that it only tends to make sense to upgrade these old machines. Great memory capacity with Kingston stability and a lifetime warranty. Kingston stands behind their products, and with chips like these, it's no wonder. Thanks!
