Kingston DataTraveler 101 G2 4GB Capless USB Flash Drive Cyan
Cons:
The older version was discontinued and we couldn't get this usb for the same price
Pros: Decent price, looks nice Comment:
Not the same product shown in the picture! It is similar but the product that I was given at NCIX looked more like this:http://media.sch-group.com/product/400x300/83FA495F-1B93-4B14-AE54-FC5990A2C1F9.jpgWas not impressed by how my order was handled. |

Kingston DataTraveler 101 G2 4GB Capless USB Flash Drive Cyan
Cons:
Not the best read speed (but still decent).
Pros: Sequential write speed. Comment:
Formating as exFAT,64KB I got 19.8MB/s sequential read and 16.2MB/s sequential write. Since I'm copying stuff to and fro, I like this nice balance of read/write... compare to the other iteration of the Datatraveler 101 I reviewed:http://ncix.com/products/index.php?mode=productreviewread&product_id=53480&showmessage=no |

Kingston DataTraveler 101 G2 4GB Capless USB Flash Drive Cyan
Cons:
yet to find anything wrong with it but then again, what could possibly go wrong with a kingston usb drive.
Pros: Does everything it's supposed to, small and even looks nice. Comment:
got it when it was on sale for about 6 bucks which is crazy cheap if you ask me. i'll be using this regularly for school. hasn't failed me yet so probably won't be failing me any time soon |
I bought it to use as a cheap storage device for my school work, it does what I need it to do and that's all that really matters. The metal part looks like it will get all scratched up a short while after use, but if the flash drive's looks mattered, I wouldn't have got this one in the first place.
