1 of the pros was the speedy work it took newegg to get it to my neighborhood USPS with the free of charge shipping, which I'm normally skeptical of. Ram intact and not DOA. Shipped in bubble-wrapped organization folder and looking undamaged. This is where the disappointment begins. The item's labelled as two GB but my comp picks it up as about 1.35 GB, practically 30% of the advertised RAM capacity is missing or undetectable. I feel like I wasted cash on this already overpriced product. Paying 50 bucks for a 2 GB stick is ridiculous in itself, however all 2 GB sticks are in the 50 bucks cost range at the time of this evaluation. Now, two weeks following my purchase, this particular RAM has gone up 5 dollars! The nice conveniences of newegg or the manufacturer did not detract me from the overall sham of a item, nonetheless, it DOES work and function, giving me more RAM capacity, but once more, this is not two GB, at least not on my machine.

I had one of these paired with a GeiL stick in dual channel, and it speaks about the good quality of both corporations. It installed fine and everything flies now, specially now that I have 8 gigs of RAM and no page file. The heat spreader is also nice, even although I don't genuinely need it. The cost is a small pricey, specifically compared to a few dual-channel kits. I got yet another GeiL and Kingston pair to match the RAMs together. It's very nice RAM, and I have identified Kingston merchandise to just function.

Amazing ram. The timings kicked in automatically without going into the bios. Heatsinks aren't too massive and keep em nice and cool. My 3 sticks scores a 7.1 on WEI on Win 7 x64. None actually except the truth they raised the price to over two times at what i bought it at. I got them for 28.49 a piece. But then once again i may have caught them on a sale. I really should have gotten all four sticks though i could. Trigger at 55.99 per stick i may well as well purchase DDR3 ram.... If the price dips below 30 dollars again. Take it.

Works excellent, fits in fine, looks great, incredibly quickly, stays cool none so far -My OS reserved .5 gig of this ram... I had 2 gigs in already so I didn't mind, I don't require all 4 gigs. But this is not the sticks fault its my OS's- I had to take the front panel off my PC, slide the HDD out and put it in, took my about 40 minutes (had to locate out what to take out when too, first time installing ram in this smaller case...) when once again not the sticks fault but just sharing my experiences.-Runs fantastic. Not regretting this obtain at all!

Cost was much far better that the other guys. Have constantly enjoyed Kingston's performance. 1st stick was poor. Rapidly shipping, got stick and put in puter and got blue screened. Tried stick by itself and puter wouldn't commence. Sent it back and for an additional stick, received the new stick genuinely quick, and it hasn't missed a beat however. It occurs from time to time and the egg had no probs with it, and I walk away a happy man, Thanks Newegg.

Kingston HyperX 2GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Desktop Memory
Cons:It's not free ;)

Pros:Nice heatspreaders, overclockable
Comment:
Runs at stated timings at 2.0 V. Can be overclocked to 850 MHz at 4-4-4-12 when the voltage is bumped to 2.1 V. Excellent for the price. Defaults to 5-5-5-18 at JEDEC standard voltage (1.8 V).
