Initial off I did not get these from Newegg, but I wish I had. I could not beat the price. Now for the RAM:I purchased a pair for an ASUS barebones contract assembly (Customer specific). I have been bench testing for a week with flying colors. Even under testing the RAM stays cool (considering conditions), and in no way lets down under Half Life full load. Combined with the latest NVidia graphics card, I am able to run a constant FPS above 32+. Applications (combined with the Intel 9600) are unbelievably speedy to load with no loading Catches.The RAM performed evenly across many load tests, including Nvidia's optimization testing.I placed a pair of G. Skill 4 Gb and tested once more, the tests were comparable, but disappointing on the G. Skill side as the system scored slightly lower with the G. Skill.Final outcomes from the Windows Expertise scale is as follows:With G. Skill 4GB = 5.8With Hyper X 4GB = five.9In the case of the five.8 score, it was the program memory that was the program Waiting to see I wish they would design a far better cooling technique for laptop ram, but this is no fault of the RAM.
