Affordable, uncomplicated upgrade with no config. Soon after about 13 months of becoming installed, I'm now receiving random blue screen parity errors complaining of hardware failures. Reseating did not assist. Looks as though 1 of the modules is going bad. Machine nonetheless passes POST on the other hand. Good whilst it works. Disappointed that I'm getting trouble already. Will likely attempt yet another manufacturer when replacing.

Memory is half height. Even though it genuinely doesn't matter at all, looks pretty cool with full size sticks and two of these half height sticks. Timings. Even though, again it really doesn't matter. Don't genuinely notice a distinction in speed for simple use. Timings are not as low as some other manufacturers, but less cost. Bought this memory for a client. Going from 1 gig ƒx512) to three gig's created a heck of a difference.

Low expense, and a great name behind it Had 4 chips, one pair fails pretty swift, they tend to run hot and if you mix this RAM with "gamer" ram you will notice a speed lower due to the fact ram con nly go as rapidly as the slowest chip. it's ValuRAM for a cause?

Operates Flawless, what additional can you ask for. None I have usually trusted Kingston RAM, it has in no way net me down but, knock on wood. ;)

works as constantly without any drawback from the moment of install and forward would be good to see newegg put an up to date pic of this ram because they are not as shown. the ram is literally half the height from standard ram so it makes you scurry to make sure the order wasnt messed up. this ram is precisely as stated for specs except that they are smaller in height so dont order heat spreaders for these unless you can come across proper ones that are not full size

It works I purchased this 2GB kit to upgrade from 1GB of G.Skill.My PC Wizard benchmark went DOWN following installing the 2GB kit ! Had I know how poor this memory performs I wouldn't have wasted my $ .The ONLY cause I gave it three eggs is it does perform,,,really poorly.

Worked... for a small over a year. 1 stick failed these days. Im not confident what happened but, I went to begin my personal computer and the OS wouldnt boot. My mother board was beeping. I check each and every piece of ram till i located it was 1 of the Kingstons... HOT to the touch. Hopefully Ill get a replacement with it having a lifetime warranty.

Installed simply in my older Gateway GM5091E. It works and does specifically what it is supposed to do. I merely want to point out that I was particularly displeased with the shipping services supplied with the "cheap shipping" alternative. I have ordered from Newegg just before many times by means of my function but usually paid the premium to have shipped suitable away. With this "cheap shipping" alternative, the package sat at the destination terminal (not the delivery terminal) for numerous days before becoming delivered to my home. The item was delivered on the 8th company day following shipping. Not within 4-7 days as it was promised. Right after writing my first review, which Newegg censored, Newegg sent me an email telling me that it was delivered within the 7 days... Not accurate! The order was placed on 1ቹቧ and delivered on twoǟቧ. Do the math. For this reason, I will not be utilizing Newegg once more.

I'm sure there's nothing wrong with this RAM. It just wasn't proper for my PC. Was not recognized by my PC soon after installation. Apparently, it's incompatible. Go figure. I have an HP Compaq Presario SR1930t desktop PC. Even though my PC's manufacturer (HP) told me this certain RAM was the correct product to upgrade my PC's RAM; they were apparently WRONG!

This RAM works terrific in my Dell GX280 mini tower. I only had 512MB now I have 2GB. What a differance. None When I recieved the RAM and I pretty much sent it back thinking it was the wrong item sent due to the reality that Kingston and i'm sure other producers are too, make the memory in what I call a half size module. Its only half the height of a standard RAM module. A little confusing but it works excellent.

price, smaller footprint for ram than im used to. rapidly shipping as usual with newegg none Purchased this ram to upgrade a relative’s Compaq Presario desktop that only had 512mb of ram and shared video. Ahead of upgrade the personal computer took up to four minutes or far more to fully boot to desktop and be usable. After the upgrade the boot time shrunk down to under two minutes (I also altered some of the bios settings and streamlined a few factors). For a spending budget or low finish pc method you can’t go wrong with getting this ram.

The Memory worked the second it was in the PC. Understanding that often you can get a poor chip and the hassle you have to give it back and get new ones is worth a few a lot more bucks to get quality. Nothing I can thhink of
