Does everything it says, looks great too. Great if you have an externally mounted radiator and wanna disconnect it from comptuer to move and also to remove to drain system. Dont forget the male part for it. Dont forget the female part. |

This quick disconnect is designed for 1/2" ID 3/4" OD tubing and fits perfectly. There is very little loss when disconnecting, and its design makes it pretty easy to disconnect even in tight spaces. Depending on how you are running your tubing one thing to watch out for is the added weight, due to its size it is pretty heavy for a fitting. |

after bleeding my external loop went connect to pc first time and cut one of the o rings in half. luckily I 3 sets 1 for filling ,so now trying to track down spares.for the cost they should come with 4 spaces each as it seems to be a common problem.
Pros: look good, they work good if you don't cut a one of a kind o ring. Comment:

I bought these because I have my (huge) rad and pump mounted externally and needed an easy way to disconnect them from my rig for easy moving and cleaning. These QDC's fit the bill and work perfectly! The compression fittings for the tubing are top notch and worked great with my Primoflex. The male/female QDC's fit together effortlessly, securely and leak free. You still need to put a rag underneath when disconnecting them since a few drops of coolant leak out but no big deal, this is still much better than draining, refilling and purging my loop every time I want to blow the dust out of my rig!I actually bought 3 pairs of male/female QDC's so I have a spare pair that I can use to drain my loop via the other 2 pairs connected to my loop. |
