Superb craftsmanship. Almost everything match together perfectly. So cool to use on my very first create. Enjoy the thumb screws for just about every thing (sans mobo). Very light yet sturdy. HD cage effortlessly configurable to one particular or two levels (to accomodate 370 mm graphic card) and rotates 90 and 180 degrees. And yes the rubber eyelet on the back is for USB three. pass-via to I/O ports (since existing lack of internal headers on mobos) Just a perform of art! Attractive black brushed completed scratches effortlessly and shows dust, so just be really cautious. Would have gotten the silver version except for the clashing black ideas on the front cover. Practically didn't get this case at all due to the fact of Newegg's "Mini-ITX" description, which it IS compatible with, though standoffs have been currently installed for mATX (a plus).

Strong Construction - Appears Easy, RefinedGreat Ventilation, Quiet Intake Fans, 1 of th 140mm fan blows correct on the internal drive baysFlexible, Bays can be moved, removed if necessary.Power supply bottom mounted - my preferred locationA lot of space to set up Peripherals The USB3. front port has to be connected by a cable exiting the back of the case to the Motherboards external port.Only space for a 80mm fan on the back of the case. One 120 is on best , would choose a bigger rear exhaust. No three.five" external drive bay. I use this for a multicard reader. This is my third micro-ATX case and is by far the ideal created as far as airflow is concerned. A pleasure to assemble as every single tiny detail has been believed out. I have been transitioning from the Coolermaster Corsair with a 1000W PSU to this machine and maintaining the very same computing power since the Corsair kept my space 10 degrees warmer. I am working with a SSD system drive, a Network Storage Device for the primary Data. The only sacrifice I had to make was to go from the two graphics cards to 1 dual slot card. With SATAIII and USB three., I actually have a lot more power now.

Anticipate the usual superb Lian Li quality. On my short list for a case this size. Error in description; this is a MICRO ATX case. Per Lian Li's net web-site, this is a MICRO ATX case, not strictly Mini-ITX.Newegg employees: please amend description and really feel free of charge to delete this "review."

Stunning. This is a builder dream. Simple to take off both sides, top rated and front. Tough drive cages facing side of case. So easy to access challenging drives. Very light weight. Did I neglect to say it is stunning? Will probably scratch quite quickly, but that goes with the territory. It is aluminum, you know. Lian Li has clear side panel for this and will almost certainly get one particular at some point. This is very best situation I have ever bought, seen, or heard about. I thought my Antec 160 was perfection, but this is even far better. If you want some thing to appear good and effortless to function on, order this case from NewEgg.

Excellent designGreat fit and finishHardened inserts throughout for screw threads None come to thoughts This is my very first Lian Li case. I've utilised aluminum instances from competitors which are great, but they have a problem with the threads stripping. I was quite happy to see the threaded inserts utilized right here.Airflow is also excellent and the integrated fans are relatively quiet which was a bit of a surprise and a nice bonus.

Solid Lian Li Construct ExcellentIncredibly lightVery good Air FlowUp to 8 achievable HDD mounts (extra SSD in second drive bay)Drives can be mounted as-is, 90 deg, or 180 deg orientationLargely tool-much less developUSB three.Enough area for any gfx card Vibrant blue energy led (just disconnected it.)Front USB three. port is a pass by, not an extra.Tricky drive mounts are tool-less, but have to take the cage out to mount. Distinct from the slide-in approach on other Lian Li cases. It's 1 of the greater mATX circumstances out there specifically if you like aluminum and understated style. Cable management is achievable, but it's not the easiest and it wants to be performed from the start off. I have a mobo that uses the third mounting screw, and my bluray drive actually hits the mobo so it sticks out about 3mm. Getting a smaller board or smaller optical drive would fix this. Would be 5 stars if there was cable management built-in, but it's nevertheless a great tiny situation that provides the features of a full size.

Great style, could have made it a bit slimmer I guess but if you are indeed operating 7 drives it can get pretty hot so I suppose the additional space is there for a purpose. The materials this situation is made out of are a joke...the metal is very flimsy \ thin...why does this cost so much? I was thinking it would be like solid aluminum (ie. apple mac pro [the desktop tower]) but no -- I guess all you're genuinely paying for is the design. Couldn't uncover any other matx circumstances that hold this several drives...so this was pretty a lot the only choice. Fractal Style sent out a massive press release for their model "Define Mini" back in December and it's nevertheless however to ship -- I emailed them multiple times and they said they're still seeking for distributors in the USA. I need to have a remedy now so I was forced to go with Lian Li instead. I wonder if the Fractal Style situation is of better high quality..

This is a fantastic and flexible Micro-ATX case.-Well ventilated however quiet with a mounting spot for a hidden fan controller (not included) behind the front panel-A lot of drive bays which includes 2x2.5" Ƒ at the bottom of the five.25" bays and 1 on leading of the three.five" bays)-Toolless five.25" bay installs and one particular of the two.five" bays is toolless-Both sides come off via thumbscrews whilst the top comes of by way of 4 screws which tremendously aids cable routing (some Lian-Li situations have the tops riveted on)-Typical Lian-Li high construct top quality and lightweight-Modular three.five" bays strengthen flexibility of this case for use with multiple dual slot long video cards, or 7x3.5" broken into 4 and three bay modules-Front power and HD LEDs are little and not blinding-Not cramped to perform in -Motherboards with right angle SATA ports such as the Asus P8P67-M Pro could be a tight fit or call for appropriate angle cables if you use each 3.5" bays. If you only use the three drive bay you won't have any complications even if you also mount a two.5" drive on top of it. -The Cooler Master RR-B10-212P-G1 at 158mm tall barely fits. The recommendations of the heatpipes press against the side panel just a bit which bows out the panel ever so slightly but not adequate to maintain it from sliding on correctly or looking odd.-I've owned a number of Lian-Li circumstances more than the years and this is very easily the most flexible/refined one particular I've worked in. I genuinely like how this firm continually refines its designs while nonetheless getting minimal and tasteful most of the time.

A lot of space for mITX or mATX household server. This case is ridiculously light! Particularly properly made, and nicely thought out. I would reccomend this case to build mid towers in, as each of the tough drive bays, or just 1, may well be removed to fit a lengthy video card. Seven three.five" HDD bays.Great airflow for challenging drives and motherboard. Two 120mm at the front supply ample flow for seven regular HDDs, as in 7200RPM or much less. 1 120mm fan up in the top rear gives very good exhaust for cpu and motherboard.PSU position is nicely isolated, pulling air from the bottom and pushing out aft. Front Common USB is not constantly recognized, nonetheless the USB three. that plugs into the back works properly.Slightly worried the finish or even the aluminum could get damaged. Highly reccomend utilizing a fully modular PSU to limit cable clutter.I swapped out the stock fans for 3 1150rpm Gentle Typhoons, makes for a quite silent home server. You may want to install an 80mm fan at the rear port to get a close to neutral push/pull.This case is about mid tower size as far as dimensions go.

This case has every little thing you want fit into a mATX case.- HDD cages are modular to support 1 or 2 lengthy graphics cards.- PSU can slide id/out back so it can be the last thing you put in- Incredibly stylish and sturdy- Both sides unscrew for effortless access to back of motherboard- Dust filters on all intake fans- Fans are incredibly quiet The USB 3. port on top does not ADD a USB three. port to your setup simply because it demands to be connected to a USB 3. port on the back of your motherboard (is is fundamentally just an extension cable so you can have a USB three. port in the front of your case). I am extremely pleased with this case and would acquire it once again.

Incredibly light & nicely built. Drive bay alternatives are nicely believed out. No cons. 120mm rear exhaust fan would be good.Take care with tall heatsinks, approx 155mm height is the max with an ASUS P67M MB and I7 CPU.
