LIAN LI PC-A71F Black Computer Case
Comment:
- Exterior is sophisticated completed with anodized aluminum finish- This tower has tons of space- Lian Li accessories give you the flexibility of customization- Fans are pretty quiet - Interior is unpainted; thus, it is prone to scratches from the inside- Wire management is not that great depending on the thickness of the 24 pin bundled cord from the PSU Front lower drive bays ought to be turned 180 degrees out of the box for better wire management, but it does not. For superior engineering, the lower drive bays should be wider so the drives can be turned 180 degrees rather. When reversing the drives 180 degrees it will not sit firmly.Interior can be buffed working with sand paper, but it's greater to get it powder coated or anodized from your nearby shop.

Almost everything in this case is laid out beautifully. I love the bottom portion for the PSU and the clamp for it. The thumbscrews for the motherboard created it the easiest motherboard install I've ever completed. The front challenging drive mounts face out and have rubber mount screws, so you can just slide them in and out. Tool-less design is wonderful. None that I can see so far. This sucker is major. It's been mentioned in other reviews, but the pictures don't even start to do it justice. As soon as I have it all finished, it will be sitting subsequent to my desk and staying there. Not a case you'd want to carry around to LAN parties and such.

good case-except your image does not match what you sell--what you sent me was a distinct top--side panels and bottom case---you expense me cash by this---i orderd prime cover with blowhole from performance pcs---it did not match with my case --58.00 and did not function---but was the suitable top panel according to lian li---i have spent so substantially time producing temp plate for this case that indeed you lowered price 40.00--simply because you knew they were not to existing specs---this was the most pricey a single item i ever bought from you----a bill of goods that did not even match your descriptions---i have bought from you for nicely more than 5 years knowing that evey factor was great ----no longer!!! no pros---item not what i paid for will go more than anything i obtain from newegg with a fine tooth comb from now on-----lost faith more than this one particular

Absolutely aesthetically pleasing. Some may well say there is a lack of air flow but the vents on the side of the door are very effective with supplying a excellent flow. Laser etched logo is a nice finishing touch. Particularly spacious and wonderful wire management for the energy provide at the bottom. I was sort of hesitant about the tool-less design but I knew by knowledge that this organization provides the utmost high quality. Installing my hardware was a breeze due to the fact of the tool-less characteristics. I do not believe I could ever regret a obtain like this no matter how challenging I try. It is certainly worth the asking price tag particularly if you know what you are treating yourself to. I continually have to wipe tears from my eyes mainly because of how gorgeous it is? I wouldn't be this overly expressive for nothing at all ;)

LIAN LI PC-A71F Black Computer Case
Cons:This is not designed for cable management, the space between the motherboard and left side panel won't be enough if you're running multiple thick cables like ATX,CPU 4-8 pin, pci express and will only suffice for front panels connectors and such.I guess it matters less since there's no window but there's the airflow side of it and compared to my HAF 932 where all these cables could fit behind the motherboard tray and it also had lots of holes to pass cable through, it's a bit disappointing.

Pros:It's aluminium so it's ligther than steel especially for the size it has.2 front fans and 2 exhaust fans all with molex adapter if 3pin won't do it for you.Comes with a good number of accesories including a toolbox to store unusued screws and such, motherboard speaker and a few more. The tool-less options are really good, mounting expansion cards is a solid system, hard drives and power supply also but only 2 optical drivers are tool-less.On the looks front, it 's like the black monolith for 2001, it does looks good.Front panel feel sturdy and well built, locks in place with a small bearing and has a lock.

My first lian-li and I'm glad I bought it. I wanted to see if all you hear about build quality from Lian-li was true and so far I must agree. While I wouldn't recommend it for cable management , the tool-less options provided are all solid and better than what I have seen on other cases. I did not like the HAF plastic retention clips but this I trust. You can mount 3 hard drives right above the motherboard cut-out and a exhaust fan is placed there as well. Side panels feel solid and are easy to close. There's thumbscrews for everything except for the non tool-less optical drives. It's not a perfect case but what it does , it does well. You do feel like you're working with a well built and quality case and I would absolutely recommend it but if you plan on using it as an HTPC like myself and what a more quiet solution I'd get a fan controller and for the four included fans it's not abused to have one.Knocking a star off for cable management since a lot of cases in these price points do better on that front. Plenty OF SPACE! Every little thing is aluminum, I'm hard pressed to come across any plastic! Tool-less style is good! Suspension system for the HDD's is simple to use. Additional hardware box is good. Extremely quiet. Not steel. Excellent replacement for my aging server tower. Thinking about the side fan panel for it mainly because of upcoming video card upgrade.Would suggest.

case looks good regrettably does not perform with EVGA x58 (and it was packaged with this MB from newegg so they apparently are not aware of the incompatibility) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813188059. The motherboard is about threeǚ" too long, hangs over the bottom support beam, exactly where the power provide would be installed.

Cool, Quiet, Stylish, and Big.This case is an absolute dream to function on. There is so substantially space to function with absolutely nothing gets cramped! Tool-less style is great as nicely. This case made for the easiest construct I have ever accomplished. This case is also very WIDE. This is a superior factor! It need to fit almost any aftermarket CPU cooler no difficulty. I have the Zalman CPNS9900 and it fit with a small room to spare!Power supply can be mounted at the top or bottom of the case, and there is enough room to fit even the greatest PSU. Not the ideal for high-end graphics. I'm running dual 5770s and it's warmer than I'd like, but certainly not hot. Just some thing to feel about if you're an over-clocker or have insane graphics.Fan filters are a PITA to get to. I took them out and haven't looked back. I just need to have to clean out the case a bit a lot more typically, no biggie. Make sure your cables are lengthy enough to stretch across the case. Some of mine were barely long sufficient.

Solid build, no doubt about that. You can hold the panels from the edges and they will not flex. Extremely, very roomy. I have never ever worked with this considerably space in a case and let me tell you: it makes builds a lot simpler. The case looks lovely and simple. The 2 140 mm fans offer a lot of airflow. The difficult drive cage was not quite solid. It vibrated when the HDD was running causing an annoying rattling noise (it was because of the tooless style which is kinda loose). I had to jam a piece of paper in the spaces to quit the vibration. The side panels are fairly hard to remove and put back on. It's as if the slots are off slightly. I definitely had to struggle to remove them. The air filters are not at all simple to access. Overall it's a truly great case. I am happy with it while I am annoyed at the little difficulties with it. In a 贄 dollar case I would have overlooked all the cons I mentioned but for 趚 I expected superior.

This was my 1st Lian Li case, and ahead of I purchased it I could by no means fully grasp why people today would dare to pay so substantially for a case. Now that I own one, I comprehend now. The brushed metal appear is smooth and clean. The inside can pretty substantially residence anything you can believe of. Dwarfs my ATX motherboard so Trip or Quad Xfire or SLI is no dilemma here. A lot more that enough room to fit a 6950 and up. The case is Massive but not truly a con, any person searching to acquire must know that already. Cable management was a bit lacking, but greater than most. 1 thing that stood out to me above all else was the fact that they gave you a small plastic box to hold all your screws. GENIUS! You don't know how numerous times I've lost spacers, thumbscrews, and HDD/ODD screws. That's some thing I feel all case manufacturers must include with their cases. Also Lian Li is one of the only firms to provide custom parts for your case. So even although they don't sell a windowed version of this case, you can go on-line and order a window that's compatible with the A71F. I'm ordering a leading panel so that I can fit a 360 rad at the leading.

This case is big, the tool less component is nifty. Installing the drives were produced as straightforward as possible. It feels like a sturdy case. I would have liked a fan on the side panel but I can't knock off an egg for that. None correct now.

This case has all the space you need to have and then some. The exterior finish is simply wonderful and the panels are surprisingly rigid in spite of complaints I have read about them flexing. Case vibration is minimal thanks to the well constructed feet. Fingerprint magnet. I'm nonetheless not sure what to buff it with but a spit shine does the trick fairly nicely ;)Sound insulation could be better but I'm not complaining.I also had a challenging time removing the correct panel the very first time because the finger grooves is pretty shallowl and the panel grips were clasped on the frame waay too tight. You might want to force the panel grips open a bit to make them looser. This is 1 case that will not call for updating for some to come, that is as lengthy as USB 3. and SATA 600 doesnt go mainstream...the best panel ports would have to be changed when that happens. Maybe a chassis revision in the future will account for this.

I have employed instances from Sony, Alienware and a few other Lian LI mid tower choices and so far this is my preferred. I like that the case does not weigh significantly and yet functions perfectly. I like LIAN-Li's layout and all the little points they do that make developing a personal computer considerably simpler and additional enjoyable.I like the latch that locks down the CD drives so that you can screw them in with out having to be concerned about if the drive is nonetheless lined up with the front of the case or not.I like the wire organizer and appreciate haveing multiple spots exactly where you can install it to accomidate for a large or modest power supply. All the case fans have 4 pin molex adaptors already installed so you don't have to mess with it. If you don't need them you can simply pull them off and attach the fans to your motherboard. All the case functions were plugged in and neatly bound togather for straightforward installation to the motherboard. The case runs quite quiet and was simple to function in. I don't really have any. This case delivered specifically what I expected. It would be good if two 120mm fans were installed on the hardrive bay inside the case. I have noticed it on a few other LIAN-LI models but I like this model over the other people. I was searching for a full tower case so that I could insure that my powersupply and a number of high finish graphic cards would fit without a problem. I also wanted max air flow in the case and a extremely simplistic stylish look. For me this case was a ideal match. No colored fans or windows, just a fine brushed black box to put everything in.Also of note: LIAN-LI hase a ton of case alternatives that you can add to your system at a later date. They send you an ad with your case. So you can add new side panels or even a new best to your case with multiple fans. 1 of my older mid tower LIAN-LI instances had an internal side fan that would pull heat off the graphic cards and shoot it out the back of the method. I was pleased to uncover that I could install this fan in my new case. It seems that they have though of every thing and created all LIAN-LI extras compatible with each and every case.
