Incredibly Very GREEN. ultra bright. small heat. the sound sensor simple to adjust. has a 3 way switch, [Sound][OFF][ ON] aswell as a vol. knob to adjust sensitivity. Practically to vibrant. but no I love it. cool to see two packs.

Tore this package open to come across a rather extended cathode. Screws, Velcro, wires, anything needed was included. There is a knob to control the sound sensitivity. 3 modes for your lights: off, on, or sound activated. The cathode lights up to loud voices, but surprisingly functions properly to music.The function that actually made this item a 5 star in my eyes was the absolute excellent fit this cathode produced in my case. Completely best. It wasn't free of charge? An additional plus that shocked me, you only require one switch per TWO cathodes. That's appropriate, you can plug two into 1 switch. Which aids if you have numerous cathodes. I had 4, needing only two switches :-)

The light is good and lights up complete case. The sound activation functions, it's just in the incorrect location. Sound activation leaves a lot to be desired, hardly does it ever pcik up on differences in noise, it has to be the beginning of "Highway to Hell" for it to choose up differences in noise, but that's since it was created to be placed inside case. Acquire it if you want a big green light, but for sound activation go elsewhere.

Does what it is meant to do... Bright cool cathode! ... Wonderful Price tag... String a few of them collectively, and you have the coolest, brightest Pc ever.Also has a switch to turn them off so I can sleep at evening Feels sort of low cost... but it doesn't genuinely matter so much when they're in your Computer and you can't even inform Get a bunch, string them all with each other and blind your friends

It's green, and it has an on/off/sound activated switch. Comes with velcro for installation. Wish it came with ties instead, but these are inexpensive. Cords are incredibly brief! I have an antec 1200 case, and with all these fans running the dang sound thingy can't even recognize anything. I want to place the sound thingy outside my case but put the light on the HD bays. I wonder if a three pin fan cord extention would work... most likely would, but thats much more money out of my pocket :/ brief cord is my only complaint.... it is practically too bright, but I can place it behind stuff to repair that. All round it's a definite 3 egg... a longer cord would have produced it a 5. C'mon Logisys!

This light is quite bright. Pluged it in and it operates. Wish i could of bypassed the on/off/sensitivity switch, but i can liv ewith that i guess

Simple to install, sound activated and is Incredibly Vivid. Right after about a week light started blinking even when there was no sound. Then it would only stay on, thanks to Neweggs RMA approach got a replacement.All is working properly now

Looks amazing and fit in my situation properly. Was pretty darn close to the greens in my situation already. Sound motion functions properly, though is just annoying when you play FPS and it just blinks for explosions. Is a CCD, so it warms a bit. Shouldn't necessarily trigger heat difficulties, but could add 1-three degrees in a situation that isnt cooled nicely. Just some thing to think about. It's probably precisely what youre searching for so get it.

To start, I place in an order for this light around 10ᚨ pm one night and received it within one or two days. It came in a rather substantial box, packed with packed peanuts, which seems wasteful to me, but it did arrive undamaged. Everything advertised was included. I had a bit of trouble figuring out how to hook it up given that this was the very first time I had a probability to play with a cold cathode, but I figured it out in a brief time. The PCI plate switch is nice, so I can turn it on and off quickly. The wires had been lengthy sufficient to wire along the bottom of my case, and cable management was simple to do. The microphone's sensitivity is adjustable, which is great. I have mine appropriate behind a single of my fans, but even at maximum sensitivity it does not go off. The light is bright! The inverter box is great due to the fact I could plug in two lights making use of only 1 box, which saves valuable space. The light does not make a noticeable difference in the temperature either. One thing that I was upset about is that the green is a bit brighter than the lights in my situation. It's much more of a lime green color. Most of these cons are actually just complaints, simply because the item is what it is, and performs how it was advertised. 1 thought I had is that it would be great if you could turn down the brightness of the light when it is on the generally on mode. I also want to note that I did not notice any dimming of my light when I utilised the sound activation, which other men and women were complaining about. All in all, I do advocate this product to any individual who wants to add a tiny piece of flair to their method. They have many colors and lengths obtainable. You will not be disappointed, unless your light is a unique shade than the other elements of your system.

Worked fantastically for 3 months, sound-activation was a little wonky although, just left it disabled. It died, only half the tube would light up.. Apparently some of the gasoline inside 'leaked' over time. Super-glued plastic to contain neon gasoline is weak. :(

It came to my property nicely packed. Im confused about how to set it up.... Ive by no means actually tried cathodes and lights but ive decided to attempt it. i cant appear to figure this one particular out. Ok so there is the massive rod right. Then there is a box, i pluged in the cathode and then the pci thingy. and then i pluged in the molex. I noticed that there was an additional cable coming out of the molex. the cable is black. it has a square tip on it. i dont know if thats how it is but it appears strange to me. please help

Excellent Cold Cathode light! Super vibrant and a lot big adequate to light up the case properly. three LED fans and this factor inside and you cant go wrong! none If your searching for the brightet green then look no further!

They perform. They're fairly bright. You can set them up to run two lights off the similar unit. The noise detection sensitivity seems to be either nothing, or all the way. I have to have my music up relatively loud (With a 500 watt RMS JVC receiver and floor standing speakers about three feet away from unit) to get some nice play in the lights. I have a clear acrylic situation and a pair of these will seriously light it up. If you have side windows on yours, or a fully clear situation, it will genuinely give you a cosmetic edge. Can't wait to see it at night when I'm truly stoned.

This gives off just the proper quantity of light! Not to bright, but enough to see everything! Of course, sound activated was something i didn't truly care about, but it adds a good deminsion to any game or music None Purchase it, you will enjoy it, and of program no one beats newegg prices!!!

Comments: Effectively I have boughten two of these, a single has been in my laptop or computer for practically a year now, and the other is soon to go in. It's a very good light, it hasn't dimed or anything in a year, and my preferred color is green so i was like excellent, but the only problem I had with them was, that they're lighter colored in genuine life, still green but just a lighter green then in the image, so if you like light green it's a very good deal ^^;

Affordable, Bright A lot more of a blue than a green. Sound activation is either WAY to sensitive or not sensitive sufficient. I've got this inside of a case with several fans. I've got an air conditioner subsequent to me, so fan noise wasn't a factor when i built this rig... But I feel the fans in the case trigger the sound activation.

This light goes grate with my Nvidia Cooler Master Haf X dont seriously like the large converter box but i got space on the situation so i am very good it dosent get that hot

Incredibly great brilliant green, didn't care for the sound activation, would almost certainly result in an epileptic seizure I purchased a single about a year ago, and it failed soon after about 3 months of use. Adds great accent to your case, just be prepared for it to fail. (pretty low-cost to replace even though)

I'm sure it would be grate... if it worked. I set up anything, go to boot up and no light! I try diffrent configurations and then lastly take it out and look at it, the cathode tube was snapped in half! Fail :-(
