Great lighting effect if you want your PC to look like a disco. Always flashes and does not seem to have an "always on" setting like a standard LED bar. Plugging in the power to the molex connector pushed out the connectors so pretty poor quality. Managed to get them in with some needle nose pliers.

Looked good, bright, adore the patterns, straightforward installation. -Six of my 24 LEDs died inside two months, with two far more only working sometimes. Ugh. Inverter challenge? I'm not confident. Seems fairly inexpensive to me.-The green button to modify patterns is a lot too big to fit flush in a case. Not a large deal, but... Got two of them. Didn't buy them here, but nonetheless.

really tends to make my case lihgt up, like all for the various methods to make it light up not all of the light function, sort of mad about that there are four of the 12 lights that dont perform

Look(ed) extremely cool, even though it lasted. All but 4 lights have failed in five-6 months. Quite inexpensive item. Don't acquire. Obtain a solid cathode, substantially greater.

Cool lighting effects. If you combine controllers (see 'other thoughts') then you get synchronized effects, but if you use two separate controllers than you can get a lot more trippy effects.Appear brilliant, better than common cold cathode lights. LED, so they will last (presumably) No "double" alternative on newegg? See 'other thoughts'. Also, doesn't don\'t forget last position, starts off on Mode 1 (cycles by way of all patterns) each and every time. Back PCI bracket calls for some tweaking to get by way of-- remove the button's plastic piece (twist off), install in case, put plastic piece back on. The cables also split half way by means of, to get the power to it, so there's a single yellow 5v cable running to the molex adapter... not a major deal unless you attempt to get an uber-uncluttered case, in which you'll have to do some creative wire management. I hid mine behind the mobo tray. The controller/inverter has slots for two lights, but you get one controller/inverter and one light per package. Combine two packages (but use one particular controller) and you have an added controller. Maybe you can obtain the lights separately for more affordable (I doubt it, this _is_ newegg =)

Looks very nice inside my NZXT Apollo - has an advantage from mere Cool Cathodes - the fact that you can set it to different modes, like a blinking mode, fade mode, flickering mode... The switch permitting you to change modes will take up a slot on the back of your case.But the most important compliant - I occasionally like to just see the LED lights just how they are, no blinking and whatnot. Even though it can do that, it screws up your previous setting just about every time you restart, so I have to go and alter it to the one particular I want. My NZXT Apollo oddly did not have much vertical space on the suitable side of the situations's interior, so I had to stick it up at the best of the case and let it dangle. It hasn't budged or moved about, though, and it's pretty tightly placed in there. I also had a version of this product where it came with two LED sticks. I also did not obtain this off Newegg.

Really bright. Added a ideal accent to my case. Pretty much wish i would have bought two, except for what I have listed in the cons. Wished it began in a solid pattern when I turn my method on, rather of in a flashing pattern. Also, not actually a con.. but mounting the energy adapter somewhere discreet in your case can be difficult if your picky about keeping your case neat. Does exactly what I wanted/needed. Makes really a large distinction

Extremely bright LEDs if you like that sort of thing. Interesting effect I located I did not care considerably for the effect from this light a lot. I prefer uncomplicated UV lamps. The LEDs had been obnoxiously vibrant...overpoweringly bright. I basically couldn's use it mainly because of its brightness. PCI Bracket install not incredibly practical and makes cable management exceptionally tough. Not my cup of tea. The lenght of the cabling plus the PCI bracket and energy inverter box was a nightmare for me to install. I devote lots of time routing cables for optimum airflow and this was very hard to workaround.

Fantastic output of light, bright LED's. On/Off switch is good. I like the several distinct light patterns, I like that it has the option to add another light to the similar manage box. It would be good to be in a position to remain on 1 of the light patterns as apposed to it scrolling by means of all of them, but it's not a deal breaker for me. I located the control box at hard to hide at all, i didn't have any complications with it and am glad i choose up this light kit. It seriously brings the inside of my case alive.

Bright!ability to opt for several Light patterns from external switch, or turn off absolutely.Comes with Velcro self adhesive squares for mounting the energy module is flimsy and if you pull the wrire snug it might just come apart dont stare too long at them.

Bright Second tube I've tried where the lights burn out in a couple of weeks. DOES NOT appear to be brand distinct, as this is the only Logisys Meteor I've tried, I tried yet another brand and the similar occurred. Go with Red, I've had the red nearly a year with no difficulties

Very brightInteresting patternsSimple to install Incredibly BRIGHT! (but that is what I expected)switch setup on a pci slot???Pattern choice switch is cheaply made Easy to install. Use a touch of hot glue on every finish and it will remain anyplace you want it to be. I have thoughts on the back edge of the bay tower in an Antec 900. It is centered right along the front edge of the side panel window and actually looks great there. The on off switch is effortless to replace with a additional suitable lighted rocker switch which I installed in an empty drive bay cover on the front.

Looks great. Very effortless to install and a small package. The light looks great with its pulsing, flickering and blinking lights. None so far Glad I bought this. My other light was beginning to burn out. Worth the cash to make your pc appear superior

Works terrific. Matches pretty well with my Antec Lanboy case, and Rosewill powersupply. The button is a little big bigger than a slot.

Looks awsome when it works. Cool Color. Really Extremely bright. I had this for about three weeks. the microphone stops working and the light just stays on. About two weeks later, it begins working again, three hours later, the microphone stops working and the light remains on. Was cool for the time it worked

the lights are the finest i ever bought for my case or builds you can change the light to like 8 or much more methods of blinking and strobe kind to so thats it good and sturdy for the cost none at all with the light but the dam velcro they send with it sucks i utilized a far better velcro for it and it worked i like bright lights glowing from each sides of my glass doors on my rig so if you want the identical buy this and you will be happy

Comments: It looks terrific, and functions pretty superior. I ended up with two of them. I didn't mind having two, and was preparing on it anyhow, but the inverter failed on the 1st one, and the small power button failed on the second. Put together though, I had a perfectly functional product.

Low-cost.Matches the red one I bought. (except the red one works..) It's doesn't function, fortunately.The crazy flashing red 1 I bought is so irritating right after 10 minutes I'm glad it's DOA. My machine looks like a mobile disco. Wonderful service from newegg as usual.

Fits good in a mid-sized case, and I like the capability to alter the lights speed, and pattern that they flash, the on/off switch is convenient and the button to change the effect is right there beside it. non so far

I accidentally bought two of these instead of the dual one... there goes almost $12.They do the job of lighting up my case. Although I leave them on SLOW PULSE... because anything else would just case seizures.If you just leave it, it just randomly switches between modes.Modes (without regard to number):1. SUPER FLASHY OMGOMGOMGOGMGOMGOGM2. Just on. 3. Slow 1 - 2 - 3 "pulse" (from left to right)4. Faster 1- -2 - 3 "pulse" (From left to right)5. OMG RANDOM FLASHY MODE OMFOMFGOM6. I bought this kit for my first mod in 2006. I was so impressed that I have continued buying this kit for every PC I have built since then.If you are looking for something BRIGHT, this is what you need. And being LEDS, they will last forever!And for the price, you can't go wrong!
