Sleeved, high quality extension, feels well put together, and works perfectly with my four-channel fan controller. I ordered a bunch of these, and the fan connectors fit snugly with my Thermaltake / Rosewill fans' connectors. Felt like I had a secure hook-up with my fans. But... The male pins (on the extension's fan connector side) are exposed, such that if the extension were to somehow turn out to be undone or unplugged, the leads could touch other stuff inside of the case, causing a shortcircuit / shutdown at very best, or frying something at worst. I employed electrical tape to be positive of the reality that there's little to no opportunity of the extensions coming undone due to moving my rig around to LAN parties and such.
