does what its supposed to do.. looks excellent in my situation.. stands out.. none so far.. purchased two, both function.. ill update later if not all goes effectively... other testimonials on these cables being to stiff are way off.. for me, they are much more versatile than the ribbon cables they replaced.. good thing as well simply because they are longer than what i require so they stick out a bit.. my mid tower situation has plenty of room to include them though.. also, my mobo is a micro atx type so maybe thats why they appear extended for my application.. |

It fixed the dilemma. I got this cable for the ATA133 rating. I had replaced a burnt out Pioneer DVR-116 with a Pioneer DVR-118. The new pioneer would lock up after about 1hr of use. Personal computer would absolutely cease responding and expected a tough energy reboot. I replaced the standard ribbon EIDE cable with this cable and the challenge has not returned in 1 month. weak at the slave connector which makes it a tiny complicated to route and a small as well lengthy for my application. I'm not content with Pioneer continously updgrading thier models to more rapidly speeds and discontinuing the old models. The new models often come with a couple much more glitches. |

The cable functions. I had to take out my other hardware just to get this thing in. Over an hour later, it went in. Creating space in the case just so airflow is very good, ugh. |

works as advertised, is not almost as hideous as a ribbon cable.it's potentially helping my air circulation? the green sleeve isn't connected to the connector, which doesn't matter at all, but it bothers me mainly because I'm silly. |

Comments: This cable is extremely cool seeking below a light. I have had it for about 6 months now and I had a challenge with it not operating the moment, but I hear that's just the way IDE cables are. I did handle to get it operating once more by bending and tweaking it even though. |

Very good for airflow. And tags make them straightforward to remove the slave wasn't fairly close adequate to the master so i had to move my second drive down a level so the cable would reach the mother board. Genuinely BRIGHT color. |

Good style, simple removal from drives. Not positive what precisely was incorrect with cable. BIOS detected drives on the other hand I couldn't do something else with cable attached. Wouldn't read dvds/drives even when attaching to a different Pc. Applied an older, shorter cable I had lying about and it fired proper up. For a three$ cable it's not worth it for me to RMA, just maintain in mind when acquiring that they're not all ideal. This is going in the garbage. |

Great green color, doesn't get all balled up like my old ribbon cables. This is just me but they're a tiny large but that's just the way my case is so its my fault. If you like a much better organized case and the color green I'd say go for these. |

color and price; this matches the bright green I am highlighting in this case project for my son the per unit shipping costs are among the highest I have skilled with Newegg; volume did not help; I was set to get about a dozen cables to get prepared for my next project but the per unit fees were virtually ũ.50 each and every regardless of quantity! So I purchased much less than I would have... |

Its pretty. It plugs into stuff. I hate those plastic loop factors that aid you pull the IDE plug out of the motherboard or from the back of a device - they look ugly on such a pretty cable. I cut mine off. I guess I'm shallow when it comes to IDE cables. Acquire thousands of these factors - you won't regret it. |

It’s a cable that connects a controller and two devices together. Its round, green, and is flexible. What a lot more will need be stated? It would be good if the tubing was a bit a lot more flexible, but it nonetheless does its job and isn’t a discomfort to operate with. The massive pull tabs will come off really nicely with most sharp objects. Also I wish i would have recognized that the Blue LEDs in my fans would show the neon yellow/green UV color, i would have purchased an 18" from these guys too. |

Thick plastic casings, stiff, properly protected. They appear jumbo size. It does not take a genius to figure out how to secure the wire boots, why can't the mfg. do it? IDE cables are the pits, I often get them too brief even right after working with a tape measure. Always add an additional four" to what you believe will do the job. |

I purchased two of these cables and they perform wonderful. I'm using them in our roommates 6 year old HP Pavilion rebuild. None
