I utilised it to connect a Computer in a single room to the router in a different for reliability since my wireless can be a tiny flaky. I ran it up the wall and by way of the attic working with an current phone line and it works like a charm. The ends are a small tough to get into the NIC with the little covers on the end of the cable, but not adequate to knock an egg off or deter me from getting again.

I bought this along with the 100ft version two years ago for networking requires in my house and didn't want to invest for an in house fiber optic network. This cable has worked fantastic because day one particular. none. at this cost, you can't go wrong, but make confident this is adequate cable for what you require, since the 100ft cable is only a couple of additional dollars.

It's extended, it's white, it's Cat6! A little stiff at first, but what do you anticipate from cat6? The recommendations have the overlapping rubber to "protect" the clip, that was the 1st to go. Trying to get ethernet in and out of routers, switches, and NICs with the clip protector factor is a PITA!

Couldn't ask for much more, totally love it. Quite solid and good feeling cable, sturdy cable ends. Fantastic LAN>File/Print server speeds. Release tab cover is genuinely difficult (for me) to depress and get the cable out of my LAN card. Con? Maybe, but it is high excellent. Does not get all gangly searching right after winding up to transport and unwinding. Still looks excellent.

Very cheap, however durably constructed. None Utilizing an approximately 30ft run of cable, I ran this from my living room Verizon Fios cable box, back to an adjacent bedroom housing my HP M8000n media center Pc setup. Anything works fine.

It does what it is supposed do properly. I ran it below the carpet in my apartment and it is so significantly quicker than my wireless. Could have been more affordable, but this was still the most affordable I identified it.
