Logitech K300 Black Wired Keyboard
Cons:
backlight
Pros: quiet, compact, thin. Comment:
The images available on logitech.com would have you believe that the background under key area is lit, however, this is not the case. Only the top row of hotkeys is lit. If you are aware of this, then you won't be disappointed with this purchase. |

Not Compact, Nearly Full Size
Comment:
I bought this keyboard to save space on my cramped computer desk. It is only marginally smaller than any full size keyboard I own. It is only slightly shorter than other keyboards and just as deep. It is 15 and three quarter inches by 7 inches, hardly compact. The multi-media keys require the press of the function key in the bottom row of keys and an F key in the top row - a two hand operation. I would not purchase another for my use. At least my kids will use this one. |

Not much to say here that isn't in the product description. It's a slightly compacted keyboard, that still features a numpad. The illuminated media keys are a nice touch, but if you absolutely need an illuminated to work in pitch-black darkness, look elsewhere.I find that combined with the light from the monitor, the orange "highlighting" is just enough to help me rapidly position my hands for typing. I don't usually look at the keyboard while actually typing, so this works out fine for me.
