Logitech Silver & Black Wired Gaming Keyboard
Cons:1cm too wide for my desk, so I can't slide it in.

Pros:Nice lights, and can be turned off.A lot of programmable keysBeing able to disable the windows key with a switch.Useful sound control without even having the sound window open. You can hold more than 3 keys down at once!2 usb ports on it.
Comment:
This was my first gaming keyboard, and I wanted to get this instead of the g15, since I didn't need a lcd screen (who looks at their keyboard that often anyway?). Anyway, this was a great keyboard, nice adjustable blue lights, great feel for the keys, a ton of macros, 2 usb ports on the front, windows key toggleable, and one of my favorites...sound control!I mean seriously, the sound control on this is great, you can switch a song, stop it, turn it up, mute it, stop it, pause it, resume it, all without even having to be at the window thats playing music. The only problem I have is that my desk isn't wide enough for it, so I can't slide it in.I can't think of a better keyboard on the market that would suit my needs like this one.

Cons:buttons are not working! after 8-9 months i have like 4 buttons (lopi) that i have to hit hard as heck to work. ARRRGGGG disgusted by this.

Pros:beautiful backlit keys and design. it has 18x3 programmable keys lol, can change lighting brightness or turn it off completely.
Comment:

Logitech Silver & Black Wired Gaming Keyboard
Cons:- None

Pros:- Back-lit- G Keys- Stylish- Comfortable
Comment:
I recently purchased one of these for the simple fact I wanted a back-lit keyboard. I read about the Saitek Eclipse II keyboard, but had gotten swerved away from them since they we're bought by Madcatz :\. Also, I am a big fan of Logitech, they have great gear. Every peripheral I own is Logitech. Logitech Z-5500's, Logitech Communicate STX Webcame, along with the new blue 2nd edition Logitech G5 mouse. Now, I can add the Logitech G11 along with it! Did I mention it will replace my Logitech Media Elite Keyboard? :P I love the back-lit feature, it suits my needs as I usually am on the PC in the dark, and I always need some form of light on. This defeats that purpose so I can actually see the keys in the dark now. Plus, the G-Keys are a great feature as well, with different sections you can customize, M1, M2, and M3. Example: M1 can be for applications, M2 can be for gaming, M3 can be for other. Along with the MR key which can record keys on the fly so you can add practically anything to one of the shortcut G-Keys at anytime. A great keyboard and even greater if you catch it on sale :)

Pros:Key LightsLookMade with strong material3 sets of 18 macros with a lockVolume and USB
Comment:
This keyboard is pretty good for MMORPGS and strategy games. In FPS games I think it's a little bit heavy for me, I'm used to move the keyboard alot ... lol.If it's on sale, get it now!

Logitech Silver & Black Wired Gaming Keyboard
Cons:- Expensive (MSRP price)- USB v1.1 headers- Long

Pros:- Backlit keys (3 modes)- Solid feel/well built- Multimedia keys w/ volume knob
Comment:
I love this keyboard! It's my first backlit keyboard and the blue light, black & silver look matches my case very well. I wouldn't pay $70 for it though, get it on sale around $40 and you won't be disappointed! This keyboard works well in Linux using g15daemon and I can use my G keys as app shortcuts when I'm not gaming. You can find G key templates on the net that sit nicely on left side of the keyboard if you want. It has 3 backlight levels, off, dim, and bright. Although the backlight is pretty even across the board there are a couple keys where the light isn't distributed well. Regardless, all the keys are still easy to see in the dark.My only real complaint is the lack of USB v2.0 ports. I will probably never use these ports but come on USB v1.1 is just so old. The cord length is fine for me, I just measured mine at nearly 5 1/2 feet. This keyboard is solid enough to club someone over the head with and it would still keep on "tickin'". Fair warning though, it's pretty darn long and you should make sure you have to space for it and your mouse on your desk.Oh it will probably take a few days to get use to if your a touch typer. The G keys on the left will throw your hand placement off everytime you put your hands back on the home row, etc.. I've taken my hands off the keyboard and pressed G18 instead of the Ctrl key I was aiming for, quite a few times now. ;) This review was modfied by poster @ 10-22-07 10:31 AM

Logitech Silver & Black Wired Gaming Keyboard
Cons:-massive, had to modify my keyboard tray

Pros:-sweet looking-comfortable to type with-g keys are great for more than just gaming
Comment:
I wouldn't pay full retail for this keyboard but if you catch it during a sale it's a good value. It's a nice sounding keyboard to type on, looks pretty slick in a dark room and has tons of functionality. I've been setting up as many macros for use with Ableton Live 6 as I have been for WoW. I'd call it both unnecessary and an asset.

Logitech Silver & Black Wired Gaming Keyboard
Cons:Kinda cheap lookingShort power cord

Pros:Blue Backlit KeysQuietFeels GoodAwsome price when on saleSimply plug in and use
Comment:
This is my first backlit keyboard. I replaced me 7 year old logitech cordless keyboard with the G11. I was realy impressed when windows started up and the lights turned on. The windows drivers work fine no need to use any software. Typing on this feels good and the key noise is nice and quiet. I got this keybord on sale for $39.99 it was worth every penny. Looks realy good at night when all the keys are lit up but in the day it looks kinda cheap maybe due to the silver colour they added to the keyboard.

Logitech Silver & Black Wired Gaming Keyboard
Cons:-depending on the angle you look at the keyboard, it seems like some keys aren't fully lit.-vista 32 software seems a bit buggy.

Pros:-nice design-good feel-eye catching-g keys are pretty convenient
Comment:
good keyboard. the usb ports add some convenience. and even though i'm not as much of a gamer as i used to be, the g keys make for convenient computing. i use them for keyboard shortcuts. lit keys really help under low lighting. for 45 bucks after tax, i'd say it was a pretty good deal. Personally i'd say it's worth 35 bucks.

Logitech Silver & Black Wired Gaming Keyboard
Cons:cheap palm rest

Pros:Led back lightslots of programmable macro keys for gamesgreat for gaming
Comment:
I recently just purchased this g11 keyboard and so far its been superb. Macro keys do wonder in games that require alot of key actions. Only things I can see that would make this keyboard a superb 5/5 would have a more sturdy palm rest, the one that is included feels kinda cheap and from how it locks into place it seems it can be easily broken off. Since its a gaming keyboard the palm rest should be designed for prolonged hours of use without hurting your wrist. Usb ports in the keyboard are 1.1 it would be better if they were 2.0 but thats only a minor issue.

Logitech Silver & Black Wired Gaming Keyboard
Cons:- no dedicated mediaplayer launching button. No big deal tho, you can set it on the G buttons- arm rest is just a piece of plastic- huge and not 'that' stylish

Pros:- nice keyboard- cheap price- the backlight is a nice touch
Comment:
The weaknesses are just very minor things. Overall this keyboard is a good one altho it's not as stylish as many others out there. It's better than the mx3200 i'd tried as I can actually feel the keys now.You have to try it for yourself. Definitely a good buy and recommended.

What a great keyboard. The keys are lighted and there are lots of programmable keys.I have this paired with a G7 mouse and my online frags have increased substantially.Until Logitech makes a wireless version of this keyboard I'll be content with the G11.30 reviews so far and almost a 5 star rating. Those numbers speak for themselves.

Logitech Silver & Black Wired Gaming Keyboard
Cons:since acquiring Vista the interface with Setpoint Setup, logitech firmware! is buggy and very unreliable. Numerous cursor locking or disconnecting and more or less have to dig out the old wired mouse and reset your PC and pull the connect again via blue tooth(doesn't always work!)I had to numerous time add/remove program and reapply all over again-only for it to happen like clock work also keyboard eats batteries and you are constantly throwing rechargeable in it

Pros:when used as a normal keyboard and Mouse recognized via windows default this combo is a dream-except Logitech tweaks and perks are disabled in the mode
Comment:
Overall i am impressed with the Logitech in general and it's devices just since the Vista OS came out their firmware has been very unacceptable and unreliable-unless you like resetting your PC than by all means get this - i on the other hand shattered mine over my Knee and threw in the street 10 o'clock at night after owning it for over a year!! enough was enough

I bought this on sale for I would not have bought it on regular since I have no use for the macro keys and already had a nice keyboard, but I wanted media controls and back-light :) Overall great product, defilently one of the best keyboards you can buy.. so many features and the volume scrool thing works GREAT! I dont see it breaking, it dont seem so cheap as some people make it out to be... it does what it does very well I can even psuh down on it and its stronger than it looks.

Logitech Silver & Black Wired Gaming Keyboard
Cons:- Multimedia buttons are noisy

Pros:- Nice feel- Well-lit, backlight is a neat effect- Awesome programmable keys supported by solid software- Traditional keyboard layout; no stupid arrangement of keys
Comment:
I'm quite impressed by this keyboard. I absolutely love the programmable keys, which are well supported by the included software. It allows you to set 54 different keys per program - and it actually knows and properly switches profiles with program focus! The keys have a solid, soft and quiet feel, and are well-lit. The LCD screen of the G15 isn't even missed. Definitely recommended - although possibly not at full retail price, which is steep for pretty well any keyboard.

Comment:
Well I been waiting for the G15 to go on sale but then the g11 went on sale for only $40. So I got this one instead. It the same keyboard as the G15 just with out the LCD screen. This keyboard is awsome as it has everything a gamer would want. My only problem is the keys are to small for me and I end up hitting other keys when gaming. I guess I will get use to it soon.

Logitech Silver & Black Wired Gaming Keyboard
Cons:Big and Bulky

Pros:Programmable Keys, Backlight
Comment:
I am not a gamer and got this keyboard on NCIX's sale for $39.99. The reason I got this is because of the programmable buttons. Being a developer, I figured there had to be a hack for the software. Numerous windows functions can be duplicated without a hack, but I havent successfully looked for a hack yet. Overall this is a sturdy keyboard, love the backlight and the USB ports are 1.1, but fine when connecting a mouse or a set of USB headphones.
