I didn't acquire these fans for a computer system, i got them for a project that necessary some air flow. They are inexpensive blow a decent amount of air and are not as well loud. I kept reading about how loud they were, but I have 5 of them hooked up and they are pretty faint as far as noise goes. For me this wasn't an problem as I cut the connectors off, but i didn't notice the pins on the connectors seemed a little inexpensive to say the least. On all 5 fans the pins nearly looked like they had been bent which could make it tough to hook up. Over all I seriously like the fans, an low-cost option to air cooling troubles.

I purchased 10 of these fans roughly a year ago and when freshly installed they do operate really well and I would say for the most aspect are fairly quiet. The downside to these fans is the life-span of the sleeve bearing. I've been getting to replace one particular of the 4 in my case roughly just about every 3 months mainly because the fan will begin to seize up, make a terrible grinding noise, and commence to above heat. These fans are fairly affordable and do perform for awhile but it may just be worth your time if you are like me and have your pc operating 24ǝ to commit the added for some ball bearing fans.

I am employing 2 of these in my hyper 101 fan and by replacing the old cooler master fan, my temps went down by 10c thats at 3.5 GHz. I am also employing two more of these as exhaust, and will get 1 far more later with a major upgrade for intake.This is not loud at ALL!!, the loudest fan in my computer is the PSU, I consider its abnormal so I am going to be replacing the cpu e_e A different factor, speedfan and HWmonitor shows that these are running at 2900-3090 RPM! Sleeve bearing fans, wont final much more than a year... dont use them a lot more than a year if your overclocking or utilizing an enthusiast machine, these guys begin to get slow, like my older ones

I have not had a challenge with these that I purchased on Newegg. There are dual plugs for four pin p/s connection or three pin for MB connection and rpm indication. None so far. I don't expect these to last forever because they were inexpensive. The over insulation that holds the three wires is old school moist poly style.

Quite good worthfast shippingtook actually 20 seconds to install(popped right in and just plugged molex in. moves decent amount of air... i enjoy the sleeves. A tiny noisy.. but absolutely nothing as well noticable it was ũ.99 its great quality for being so low-cost.. Highly advisable.. Dont let the noise place you off of this.. all other fans will be just as loud and this quite cheap.

Strong and Quiet The pin for the 4pin molex had been moving so it was tough to connect to test it. And the 3pin came absolutely off. I didn't worry simply because i was using this fan to make a D.I.Y laptop cooler so i didn't need the connectors. LOL. cheaper than the retailer bought ones and keeps my laptop a lot cooler

Low cost. Loud. Extremely loud. This single fan makes far more noise than my 4 existing fans combined. I bought this fan and a Cool Master (Item# N82E16811999070), which is practically 3 instances the cost, to see if there was a noticeable distinction. There is. The Cool Master fan is quieter and puts out additional air flow.

Keeps my file server cool. Installed easily. Cost is ideal. No fancy doodads to consume unnecessary power or drive up the price. Purchased two -- wish I had purchased a lot more. Installed two when I upgraded my file server from a Sony Samuel three to a Dual Core Intel Atom motherboard. The motherboard keeps the fans spinning at two,700 rpm; cpu runs at about 30 degrees C.
