MSI GeForce GTX 970 TwinFrozr V 1140/1279MHZ 4GB 7GHZ GDDR5 HDMI 2x DVI DisplayPort PCI-E Video Card
Cons:Bulky and long

Pros:QuietLow temperatures: 29 c idle, 57 c while gamingExcellent performance in all games with ultra settings (BF4, BFH, Dragon Age Inquisition, MGS5, Lords of The Fallen, Far Cry 4)
Comment:
Incredible difference from GTX 580, I was highly impressed, and felt like the money was worth it. Running all games at highest settings with good FPS. The fans on this card are really quiet. Default fan profile keeps fans off until the card is under load. This is my third MSI card, and they really up their game with each generation. Always innovating fan technology, good overclocking capability, never had any instability issues. I highly recommend considering MSI for your next video card purchase. Other hardware is:i5 2500k i 4.5 ghzmushkin enhanced stiletto 8gb ram22" Dell lcd

Cons:Coil whineCard sag

Pros:Great valueRuns all games I own max settings 1080p 60fps
Comment:
Great for 1080p single monitor gaming. Love this card only problems I have experienced is coil whine witch does not happen often but is noticeable when it does, and the card does sag quite a bit (2-3cm)

MSI GeForce GTX 970 TwinFrozr V 1140/1279MHZ 4GB 7GHZ GDDR5 HDMI 2x DVI DisplayPort PCI-E Video Card
Cons:3.5Vram thing

Pros:Great CP valuevery quiet, efficient coolinggreat performance
Comment:
Yes yes... when you are looking here you probably already googled the thing about how all GTX 970 has 3.5 gb vram, and that is true. The remaining 0.5gb vram is not very effective as the first 3.5 gb, and this is a no no.However, understand what you are actually gonna be using. What are the games that utilizes full 4gb of vram? I personally don't have any games that uses 3gb of vram, but if you do and have more allowance, go for GTX 980.I am happy with what I get from 970 at this price, but I must say that Nvidia should apologize for this misleading advertisement. If they are smart, an appropriate degree of compensation should be distributed to all GTX 970 buyers.

MSI GeForce GTX 970 TwinFrozr V 1140/1279MHZ 4GB 7GHZ GDDR5 HDMI 2x DVI DisplayPort PCI-E Video Card
Cons:- It only has 3.5Gb of fast VRam, the remaining 512M being much slower VRam. That significantly affects the performance of the card as soon as games require more than 3.5Gb of VRam. This is true for all GTX 970 cards, not just this one!- This particular model (MSI GTX 970, Twin Frozr), is subject of coil whining, thus being quite noisy at times! It all depends on your PSU, apparently.

Pros:- It's a shiny new GTX 970!- It runs very smoothly at 1080p, and 1440p.- It stays cool and does not heat up.- It is very efficient power-wise.
Comment:
Even if the benchmarks are spectacular, I'd stay away from all GTX 970 because of the 3.5 Gb VRam issue. I think it seriously undermines the card resale value, and that it is much less future-proof compared to other real 4Gb video cards.

MSI GeForce GTX 970 TwinFrozr V 1140/1279MHZ 4GB 7GHZ GDDR5 HDMI 2x DVI DisplayPort PCI-E Video Card
Cons:the 970 memory and specs issue

Pros:cool, quiet, pretty fast
Comment:
Aside from nvidia not being upfront with us about the specs on this card, it's been great although all I've really played is BF4 and Dying Light. BF4 is nothing for this at 1080p, Dying Light however needs some settings turned down but not too much. The game isn't optimized very well so fps is all over the place, but once dialed in you rarely drop  below 60fps. Nice card before they raised prices, mine was 419$. Nvidia needs to step up and own up to their mistake tho.

MSI GeForce GTX 970 TwinFrozr V 1140/1279MHZ 4GB 7GHZ GDDR5 HDMI 2x DVI DisplayPort PCI-E Video Card
Cons:-No backplate, can be a bit wobbly, but not enough to affect much-Small amount of coil whine, not noticeable while gaming but is slightly irritating when everything else is quiet

Pros:+Great performance for the price+Fans are very quiet+Nice looking design+LEDs on top instead of front, shows through cases nicely
Comment:
The pros far outweigh the cons for this card. I've had no problems with it as of yet. It runs like a champ! I'd also like to note that I used this with my first build, so I am less experienced with hardware than some others.

MSI GeForce GTX 970 TwinFrozr V 1140/1279MHZ 4GB 7GHZ GDDR5 HDMI 2x DVI DisplayPort PCI-E Video Card
Cons:-coil whine in some menus (far cry 4 loading screen)-no back plate

Pros:-stunningly powerfull-no noise, fan remains at 0% under low load and far cry 4 maxed out doesn't raise the temperature over 60.
Comment:
I'm simply glad that i've bought this card.I was upgrading my old gtx 570 and wow, the performance is just... so much better this is insane. Runs far cry 4 stable at 60 frames, battlefield 4 maxed out with 100% resolution scale at 100-120 frames. It's stable at 150% resolution scale at 60 frames in BF4.this card is amazing. Get one now.

Cons:-No backplate.

Pros:-Quiet.-Can run Unity on high (2000x1000 resolution). And Unity is horribly optimized right now.-Can run Battlefield 4 OPERATION LOCKER on ultra. You know Operation Locker is a cluster.

MSI GeForce GTX 970 TwinFrozr V 1140/1279MHZ 4GB 7GHZ GDDR5 HDMI 2x DVI DisplayPort PCI-E Video Card
Cons:No backing plate.Standard connectors - 1 HDMI, 1 Display port, 2 DVI.Fairly heavy and long

Pros:PERFORMANCE!PRICE!Runs COOL.Very Quiet.
Comment:
Hard to believe you can get last year's high-end performance for around 400 bucks now.Installed MSI Afterburner and effortlessly increased boost to 1430 MHz with stock voltage. Still runs very cool (mid 60's at most) and I have yet to hear the fans unless I set them manually to 100% or so.AMD is in deep doo doo with NVidia's latest mid-priced cards performing as well at AMD's top cards. I had a GTX670 OC installed before and this card out-performs it 30% to 50% depending on application.I have a new LG 4K set which will accept 60 Hz 2160P at 4:4:4. This new card is supposed to support that and I will be hooking it up soon. I'll update  this review when done. In the meantime, I am super happy with this purchase. I've gotten to really like MSI lately (bought an MSI GT70 Dominator a few months ago with GTX870M) and this doesn't change my opinion. Military grade caps is just the frosting on the cake.
