No fan? I don't know what occurred, but Windows 7 won't recognize this board appropriately, hence won't install the appropriate drivers for it. I manually downloaded the drivers from MSI & from ATI directly, and they nonetheless don't consider the card plugged in is a Radeon 43xx loved ones card. I only get the normal microsoft vga driver. Even attempting to run some ATITools yielded no support. It appears as even though an incorrect set of firmware is loaded on this board somehow. Has low profile faceplate, passive cooling so its silent. This card is advertised as a desktop HD4350 but when you load the drivers it in fact shows up as "ATI Mobility Radeon 4350". I was questioning why the drivers for the desktop 4350 from the ati site would not load. When I loaded the drivers from the CD it worked appropriately but it is indeed a MOBILITY laptop freaking GPU. I wanted a DESKTOP GPU, not a laptop gpu built into a card that fits in a desktop. Seems to be operating fine for what it is, but its not what I believed it would be. Manufacturer Response:Dear Valued MSI Client,We would like to apologize for the problem you have experienced with this particular VGA. Please e mail me straight through usersupport2@msicomputer.com your VGA's serial quantity and your total speak to data, subject heading "EAHR4350". Superior value for DDR3; Low power mobility chip; Quiet. I wasn't working with LP so it was ready with out mod. Occupies 2 slots; Rebate needs a large bite in your can to apply for! Following reading complaints on loading the driver (W7 loads a generic ATI) I went to "Device Mgr" and updated driver with the CD working with the Vista (W7) driver dated tenǛ񳏊 ver. 8.783..All went well. Thanks for the deal, NewEgg!

it works you can't really use each video ports in low profile mode mainly because the ribbon cable for the VGA port is not lengthy sufficient to get around that huge heat sink

None so far, have not been in a position to install it to write any pros. VGA cable is too brief for low profile application, so numerous complains but no response from client assistance. For me this card is not usable at all considering that I have a low profile application

MSI Radeon HD 4350 R4350-MD512H/D3 Video Card

Silent, large heatsink style; Low cost with rebate. Nonetheless waiting on the last (approved) rebate check from November. The card is indeed detected as a Mobility Radeon HD 4350. I learned that the difficult way following attempting to install the ATI desktop reference drivers, and the choice to install the drivers wasn't even listed (because an ATI desktop card wasn't getting detected, I presume).I installed the drivers from the CD on Windows XP, and the driver install failed. There was an added instruction sheet in the box that predicted this and said to install the driver manually via Device Manager, pointing it at the CD as the driver source. That worked. The card will serve it's purpose, supporting dual monitors in a company environment. If I had much less tech knowledge, I would have installed the drivers off of the CD working with the included instructions and I probably wouldn't have noticed any concern. It ought to be listed as a Mobility card. Manufacturer Response:Dear Valued MSI Customer,“Please get in touch with MSI consumer service representative Tom at tomh@msi.com, or call Tom at 626-913-0828 ext 216 with your case particulars so we can check the rebate status. Thank you.”Finest Regards,Consumer Service TeamRebate account

HDMI, Low Profile Lots of Surface Heat Sink. Worked on very first boot. ID'ed my 61", 5 year old Panni proper away. Had to trim off 1" corner of the heat sink with dremel tool due to the fact of conflict on D915 South Lake MoBo, then it slipped in. XP Pro SP3 ME operating program ATI drivers didn't load at 1st and 10.12 said it was all excellent, but wasn't, then loaded MSI CD drivers then factors had been superior. As one more poster said: " it really shows up as "ATI Mobility Radeon 4350". I was questioning why the drivers for the desktop 4350 from the ati web page would not load" No center channel (voices) in BlueRay yet, LG H20L, DVD's have all the sound there. Will play with Realtek drivers next. I bought this card to replace a MSI 128mg X300 OEM card in an old Gateway Media PC. The other reviews and really low price sold me on the 4350.

HDMI, Low energy consumption, fits hp compaq dc7600 sff with no modifications, operating fine as htpc video card, tested up to 1080i so far. Cheap! 1) Flat cable on "vga" connector is too short. It reaches the leading of the full height bracket, but will not reach the 2nd low profile bracket when it is 1 position to the left. Can't go right since the heat sink is in the way. two) GPU is a Mobile Radeon! It's operating ok, but I would not have bought had I realized this. three)Being a mobile GPU-not a "normal" desktop 4350, ATI refers 1 to the manufacturer (msi) for drivers--not happy about that. The supplied disc had versions newer than the internet site! 4) Installation of drivers failed--had to fight with "ksuser.dll not found"--I *think* I fixed that by updating my directx, or by pointing it manually to the file that was genuinely there... Also video driver install failed-- it is not digitally signed. Had to install manually through manage panel and tell it to ignore the signature problem. Hours of hassles, not rather what I wanted, but it is working and it was low-cost, so I'll deal. It is a fantastic card for the price, hopefully I get the rebate. I have gateway 2800 htpc, it has only 1 pci e slot and the heatsink on this card is huge, could not fit it in. I had to shave off some of the heatsink to fit it in the pc, is running type hot will see. I am running win 7 64 bit. system did not recognize the card, downloaded driver from MSI did not function. Went to ATI/AMD and downloaded the driver that worked, oh yes sound through hdmi works. I have it hooked up to samsung 40 lcd looks very good. runs hot Heatsink is substantial.
