Using the factory overclock setting of 1007MHz, the temp never breaks above 74C. I read that a stock AMD R9 290 card's temp can rise to 95C. The fans are very quiet. Very noticeable upgrade from my GTX 670. Very nice hardware.The only issues now relate to availability and present day pricing. Current pricing puts it into competition with other cards that may be better value for your money. You will want to do your research. |
