Margaritaville DM1000 Key West Frozen Concoction Maker
Cons:none

Pros:Great cooling on core i7 920
Comment:
Despite whatever other posters have said, I installed this into a core i7 920 / Asus P6T MB with PowerColor Radeon 4870 1GB. I have the CPU running at 4 GHz (yes, that's true). AI Suite says the temp is 54*C but the cooler says at least 10* lower. 50% speed gain controlled by this cooler is nothing to sneeze at. Only on medium setting. So lots of cooling room if set on 3rd level later. This review was modfied by poster @ 09-17-09 05:16 PM

Margaritaville DM1000 Key West Frozen Concoction Maker
Cons:Not much better than a regular fan: noisy, does not noticably cool better

Pros:Neat display screen, ease of installation, clear instructions, slightly cools better
Comment:
At first glance, this product seem to do its job. Idle temps are slightly lower, and so are load temps, but at the cost of quietness. The difference is about 3 degrees celcius at medium setting. I can't see myself using the high setting since it's unbearably loud.Right now my mobo temp is actually higher than my CPU temp, probably due to my poorly ventilated case. With a properly ventilated case, I foresee that this product will work better. For what you pay for, this product is satisfactory, since for this price (was on sale for about $50), you could probably get a cooling fan of similar performance.

Margaritaville DM1000 Key West Frozen Concoction Maker
Cons:Extremely stiff tubing.

Pros:Compact all-in-one unit.Great for first time water coolers.
Comment:
Overall based on the price I paid for this unit, am happy with its purformance. However, I would not recommend this for overclockers. I currently have my E5200 running 3.67Ghz q 1.37 vcore. The temps are 45C idle and ~65C load. Considering I have been testing this unit for the past month with an open case setup the temps are more then what I would want for a 24/7 OC. I might actually swap this out for a Scythe Ninja 2 I have laying around in a push/pull setup and see how my temps improve. I also want to note that Coolit Systems is probably one of the best company I have ever dealt with regarding an RMA. Nothing but respect for the people working there. Thanks

Margaritaville DM1000 Key West Frozen Concoction Maker
Cons:a few of the grates on the rad were bent, easily fixed with a small flat head screwdriver

Pros:Excellent build quality, quiet 120mm fan, keeps my q6600 overclocked to 3.2ghz at a comfy 25C on idle, 45 on load.
Comment:
I just built my first computer and I wanted to play around with ocing it, I tried it with the stock cooler that came with my q6600 and tested that out, at 3.0ghz with a vcore of 1.4 and the temps were unbeleavable as soon as I turned on prime95 the shot up to 70 and slightly above, needless to say I needed a better heat sink. With a little research and a sweet deal I bought this. Now I'm at 3.2ghz with the same vcore and the temp at load was 49, I lowered the vcore to 1.36 and the temps were 45ishThere are three settings, low, performance and high. I have to say performance is great but if you want to cool it by 2-3C more high does a great job. Overall the price I payed (73 thanks to price matching withougt shipping) I'm more than happy.

Margaritaville DM1000 Key West Frozen Concoction Maker
Cons:Poor performance, Noisy

Pros:Easy to install, pre-assembled
Comment:
If you plan on pushing the CPU, then get a better cooler as this one will not be able to cool enough.I've installed it on my Q6600 and it is not doing any better than an equivalent priced cooler. In fact, it's actually louder than a Ultra 120 and a Sanyo denki fan...So yes, it's a nice built kid but I would not recommend this to anyone who uses a Quad CPU.

Margaritaville DM1000 Key West Frozen Concoction Maker
Cons:I would definitely say NONE and worth the Buck for sure.

Pros:Have three different mode to adjust the fan speed,Excellent design with built-in blue light LCD, Excellent Heat exchange thermal, comes with AM2+ Retention and LGA1366 LGA775 kits, Very quiet pump and very efficient comparing to the coolit Pure systems, excellent CPU mounting mechanism comparing to the basic Coolit Pure. rewards you with excellent CPU tempreture when CPU is under heavy load.
Comment:
Hi there, guys for those of you who didn't purchase the Coolit Domino ALC I have a message for you, get this super quiet and very efficient coolit system you will not regret it. but for those who already got the coolit Pure I say tough luck with the pump noise and the over all performance and quality of the system.I had this Coolit Domino ALC for about 2 consecutive days now and all I have to say its amazing system and keep my Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 E0 CPU 8 degrees below the average tempreture. so over all I say get this Unit and say BYE BYE PURE. Margaritaville DM1000 Key West Frozen Concoction Maker
Cons:None yet.

Pros:Simple to install, incredibly quiet, with potential to crank up the cooling while overclocking. Temps never go higher than 35 C overclocking a core 2 duo 8500 to 3.7Ghz.Coolit has AWESOME RMA and Tech support. Seriously those guys rock when I had to RMA my Coolit Pure (pump noises) they sent me a Domino as a replacement upgrade for free!
Comment:
Three modes allow you to choose basic ultimate quiet cooling for stock chip speeds, automatic mode which increases cooling hen temperatures rise, or full out cooling for those mega clock chips. So far works flawlessly and super quiet, even when pushing the limits. It is 25 degrees cooler than the stock cooler at idle in a warm room.

Cons:You ahve to open your chassis to change the fan/pump speeds. Parts broke.

Pros:Simple to install. CoolIt customer service was great!
Comment:
Product increased my temps 10(C) over what I was getting with my Zalman 9700. At load my CPU never went above 55(C)using my Zalman 9700 with this product, even after multiple reattachements of the TIM to the chip my temps reached 62(C)Portions of the hardware broke during install and needed to be replaced by CoolIt which took several days, but they were shipped overnight and arrived the next day free of cost to me.

Cons:Ruined my Motherboard.

Pros:I couldnt tell you, Covered my system with water before i could really test it. Looks pretty aswell.
Comment:
OK well apparently the Domino is supposed to take the risk out of water cooling your system. Well I let the cooler run before for about an hour to see if it had any leaks and everything seemed tickity-boo. Installed according to the manual and in about 2 hrs my mobo shorted out. looked in my case and low and behold there is a puddle on the bottom of my case, well there goes my P5n e sli! I cant speak for all of the domino's out there, Just this one was defective. GREAT JOB ON TESTING IT COOLIT!
